At C2 Tactical in Tempe, I dropped off my pistol for a simple rear sight swap. Dan was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. After I asked him about their method used to remove and replace my rear sight, he explained that they use a simple "hammer and punch" rather than the press method. I had been told by another shop and gunsmith that they use the press method and had to order a special part for my specific pistol. I especially appreciate the fact that Dan explained why they use a different method and that in their many years of experience, the press method can damage the slide and the sight. I received great pricing and service, on an AR re-barrel. After 35,000 rounds, I wasn't getting keyholes, but I was being 'graced' by a 3.5 MOA group...uggh. I bought a new barrel and called Wright in Tempe. I spoke with a fellow names Dan and he told me to bring it in. The cool thing is that I could have stayed there and used the co-located C2 range of which I am a member becuase it was completed within a couple of hours. But I had other plans and conveniently picked it up the following Tuesday when an FFL transfer came in at C2. I had my P365XL worked on at the Wright Armory inside C2 Tactical after I made a bonehead mistake. Great people to work with and knowledgeable. My issue ended up being relatively minor to repair, so there was no charge or it - except a diagnosis charge - and it was ready in 2 days. Communications are great - both email and text with updates, and when I picked it up, they explained and showed me exactly what I did wrong and how to fix it if it happens again. Wright Armory recently performed a Timeny trigger install for me on my CZ Scorpion and I couldn't be happier. I was at a point where the loc-tite was so binding on the trigger assembly that I didn't want to risk damaging the firearm. So I took the CZ to Wright and had them perform the install. I have been taking guns to Wright Armory for Cerakote work for several years. That work is always outstanding. Now that they have opened a shop in Tempe at C2 Tactical it is easier to do that. The feed latch kept popping off on my Remington 11-87 that is 30+ years old and has had lots of use. I got it back after just a couple of days and it seems to be back in working order again.
