I found Dr Mulcahy through the desire for change and I am EXTREMELY thankful I did! I had a rather large filling fall out & that is exactly what he fixed, rather expertly I might add! I felt nothing with the numbing shot, not even a pinch. There was some discomfort during the procedure which was caused by the prior dentist getting way too close to the nerve. He put a barrier between the nerve & the filling to try and help with sensitivity. I am giving it a few weeks to see if a root canal will be needed (again since the prior work had been done too close to the nerve). Regardless I am scheduling all future appointments here!! Also, they are CONSTANTLY trying to sell you on all sorts of add-ons. Every visit, they would tell me there was something wrong with my teeth and that I needed to purchase this or that service or ortho or gismo (that inevitably wasn't covered by insurance) or else my teeth would be irreversibly ruined. After moving on to a different practice, other dentists have looked at my teeth and reassured my that things are fine and I don't need all the up-sells that the Turner folks were pushing every time I stepped in their office.

The dental assistants and the physician were so pleasant to speak with and very gentle with their care. They let us know from the beginning they couldn't absolutely guarantee a same day denture, but they worked it out and had it done by end of day! After a less than stellar doctor/patient relationship with a dentist very close by, I returned to…read moresearch for a replacement dentist when I came across Smith and Elliott. I made an appointment for a consultation and was able to be seen quickly, however that appointment had to be rescheduled and the delay for that appointment was quite lengthy. Once I arrived to the office I was not seen immediately. It didn't appear there was a dental emergency. just more appointments that there were hands in mouth. I finally was taken back to a well used exam room and subsequent trip to x-ray as I was a new patient. To this point, my review was a solid 3 stars at best. Then I finally met Dr. Elliott. I was very, very impressed with his interpretation of what I was going thru and we did have a few candid moments of proposed treatment which in all honesty I was expecting. Now I am on the wait list to get another appointment. Sigh, honestly, this is a first for me, being put on a wait list, so like in the airlines, if I don't get cleared for a seat, I'll have to go to "plan B".

Dr. Brinker is great. He took my wisdom teeth out, and also my husband's and siblings'. He has been…read moredoing this for a long time, and he really knows what he's doing. He REALLY impressed me when he gave me his personal home number after surgery, so that I could call him if I experienced any problems. He does this with every patient. It's almost impossible to find a doctor nowadays who will give you their home or cell number. Luckily, I didn't need to call him. However, he still called me that night to make sure I was doing okay. He truly cares about his patients and wants to make sure you're recovering well. My husband ended up with dry sockets after surgery. Treatment includes going into the office every day to have the holes stuffed with gauze. Dr. Brinker came in on a Saturday morning (when the office is usually closed) just to change my husband's gauze. Dr. Brinker consistently goes above and beyond to serve his patients. I would recommend him to anyone.
