I was very nervous since I had not been to the dentist in a while and because I did not yet have dental insurance. I was running about 15 minutes late because it was further away then expected and I got stuck at work. They let me back and did not give me a hard time about this at all. The dentist I saw was the son of Dr. Wright. He was super personable and helped me be at ease. He numbed me up so well that I had no pain during the procedure and did not even have to take any pain meds after. The best part was he didn't even charge me full price, he only charged me what people normally have to pay out of pocket after their insurance pays their portion. Naturally after I got insurance I didn't hesitate on who to go back to when I needed the rest of them pulled and a cleaning. The cleaning I needed was more intense since I hadn't been for one in a while. They contacted my insurance while I was with the hygienist and let me know what part was covered and exactly how much to expect to pay out of pocket. When I came in to do the procedure I again felt no pain before or after and this time it was Dr Wright and a hygienist! Dr Wright even took some money off because I had had a bad day (someone hit my car and tried to take off). The 3 times I have been there have been fantastic. I will recommend them to my family and my friends! Even though I live about 30 minutes away I will continue to go to this office.

Despite having no symptoms--no inflammation, bleeding, or recession--Dr. Ahmed Mitul diagnosed him with "severe gum disease" and recommended a costly deep cleaning not covered by insurance. As someone with a professional dental background, I advised him to seek a second opinion. A reputable local dentist later confirmed he had no signs of gum disease. When my husband called to cancel the deep cleaning, the receptionist was rude and hung up on him. We've since found similar stories in older Google reviews. Based on our experience, we believe this practice may be using questionable diagnostic practices to upsell unnecessary procedures.

They actively chose to inconvenience their patients by making them waste time/gas driving to their office, waiting in the lobby and thinking they were going to move forward with their appointments. I was not the only patient this happened to, as they were talking over each other at the desk discussing other patients they needed to cancel on. I drove over 45 minutes to get to this appointment by the way after being awake all night after the previously mentioned massive thunderstorm. All of the traffic lights were out and I drove in danger to arrive to my appointment on time. They knew they didn't have power and still chose to cancel on me 15 minutes after I checked in in person. Now after 2 cleaning sessions and a very simple tooth extraction I have been billed an additional $657.00 with no advisement or explanation. Aspen is not a member of BBB. Many nationwide complaints. I am currently disputing the upcharge. I will contact my insurance company.
