I moved into a house with my in-laws. I switched my Verizon FIOS to my new address. The Verizon tech was at the house for over 7 hours, he said "I got you Internet but you don't have tv; it's an internal wiring issue so that's your problem". I was thinking of hiring someone to wall mount the five tvs anyway so that was it. I hired WSC and in one day they had all the tvs, a sound bar, and 5.1 surround system and all xboxes and blu ray players connected. Everything works, wires are hidden, looks great. Don't recommend this company after scheduling an appt then taking off early to be here and confirming the appt the day before with his employees. The owner decided not to come to my house cause I accidentally hung up on him while working on a pipe that busted under my sink with water going everywhere. When I called back he was very bitter and refused to come out. As a response to the owner this 100% valid review as I scheduled this time last week and confirmed this time with his staff yesterday. I then took time off early to be here to find a floor full of water right has called and I did accidentally hung up on him. Once I get it under control I called the number back to see who I hung up on and apologize to find out that it was WSC who the refused to come out. Then when I explained what happened he was not professional in fact very bitter and refused to come out. I stand by what I posted and I told you the pipe busted when I called back. I want to preface this review by pointing out that 90% of my experience with WSC was outstanding: the initial consultation, the install day, support afterwards. I was very impressed by the team of Chris and Shaun, and the work they did at my home. What dropped my rating down to 4/5 stars (and probably more accurately 3.5/5, if that were an option) were concerns raised after the installation was completed, and the lack of response I received when I reached out for clarification. Specifically, after coming across an old audio receiver at my house during the initial consult, and subsequently discussing the rapid speed at which AV technology improves, I came to find out that the equipment installed in my house was "last year's model," if not older. This was combined with the fact that I was billed for these items well above prices I found them available for online. The billing was more in line with the prices for current, 2017 models of the same items. I had also asked specifically about purchasing the equipment they recommended myself, in an effort to save money; I was told that WSC gets their items at cost, so there'd be no need for me to look for a better price. Well, the prices I paid on the invoice for my AV receiver and speaker selector were at least $300-400 higher than the pricing I did myself online. I also want to point out that I am no AV expert, and there certainly could be a good reason that an older model of the receiver was selected instead of the newest model. However, after having both conversations about keeping up with technological advances, as well as no need for self-purchasing items, the decision as to why these models were selected, instead of the latest models, should have been explained. That brings me to my second issue: as I have tried to contact WSC for further clarification on these decisions, I have yet to receive a reply to my queries. I certainly could be banging their door down, or ringing their phones off the hook, but I have attempted to reach out to them the same way we communicated during the entire install process (email), yet never received a response to an email that detailed my concerns, very similarly as I did in this review. In conclusion, I am overall a satisfied customer, but the aforementioned questions still linger. The install and equipment work well and suit my needs. Customer service during the install process was great. Labor pricing was fair and appropriate for the work performed. I would recommend requesting and reviewing a line-item estimate, with particular scrutiny to hardware model numbers and pricing, before signing off on the work. I allowed for a handshake agreement after the initial consultation, so ultimately paying more for the equipment is my responsibility, but the fact that it happened, and that it was so far out of line with the overwhelmingly positive experience otherwise, was very surprising. read more

Purchased a new surround sound system from WSC for our home in December 2016. From the prompt response to my email inquiry (by prompt I mean within hours) to Chris's consult visit to our home two days later to Shaun's expert installation, what we experienced was complete professionalism and sound advice. Chris listened to our goals and recommended equipment that met our needs without "overselling us." Shaun installed the in-wall speakers to perfection along with the other equipment. Chris followed up with us a couple of days later to be sure we were satisfied and to see if we had any questions. This is a two man operation owned by Chris and Shawn. I found them through servicemagic.com, but you can send an email to sales@wschav.net. They are very responsive and called me within minutes of sending the email (your response may vary, I happened to send the email on a slow installation day). They make a personal visit to your dwelling to provide an estimate and make recommendations and then set up an installation appointment. I am very satisfied with the professional work they did and used the opportunity to purchase a sound bar and wireless (almost, it still needs power) subwoofer (3.1 sound system). They went above and beyond the call by spending 30 minutes at the end of the installation trying to figure out why the optical connection for sound was not working on my HP Media Smart TV (I found out later it is just a bad design). I would definitely use their services if I had to do everything again and I wish I had called them sooner. read more
