This place needs to fire everyone. I pulled up in my car with a family member to get some shoes & before we got out the car we sat in the parking lot to finish smoking our cigarette. As we are sitting smoking our cigarette and talking, we see a car pull up and park and three guys jump out. All 3 guys were no older than 20-23 at most . Talk g loud, speaking Spanish. (I also speak Spanish) They LITERALLY went in & came out within 3-4 minutes carrying several boxes of shoes. About 3 boxes each. I flicked my cigarette & opened my door & said "wtf" with my arms up (but I said it in Spanish slang) and the last guy stopped. He just froze. Then the other 2 guys were getting in their car really fast & one of them said to the frozen guy "just hurry up come on move it" (in Spanish) I went inside the store with my family member & IMMEDIATELY NOTICED NO ONE WAS AROUND. Like literally no one, I had to yell out "hello" and someone came from the back, I asked the guy immediately "did 3 guys just come in here & buy several boxes of shoes?" He looked at me & said "when?" And I said "literally just now, did you sell like 5 or so boxes of shoes?" He said "oh no, we haven't sold anything like that, it hasn't been busy" and that's when I said "well 3 guys JUST NOW walked out of here with a bunch of boxes of shoes" ....and do you know what this man said to me and my family member?!?! (my family member was also chiming in on what we saw) He said "yeah that happens a lot" with the most oh well look and tone in his voice. This is a store manager being completely nonchalant. I'm not saying he should have ran into the back dressing room and changed out into his Superman outfit and then ran out the store to try to find the guys, I'm not saying that at all. But the least he could've done was say something in a tone or in a way that would have relayed that he was going to take the matter seriously.. like AT LEAST ACT LIKE U GIVE A DAMN. At that same exact moment, guess who walked in ?? The ARMED SECURITY GUARD! My family member immediately walked up to the arm, security guard and said to him what had happened. This security officer (who barely spoke English) shrugs his shoulders & said "what can you do huh" . Nothing about looking at the cameras to get the pictures of them men to possibly ID them or or get the license plate of the car that they took off in. Nothing about making a report just nothing at all.. it was like they just didn't give a damn. In family owned businesses I noticed that they will put up the pictures of the faces of the people who steal. That's because they want to make sure the thieves know they were found out & they can't come back in or risk getting the police called to charge them with the previous crime. I'm guessing that this establishment doesn't have those kind of people working for them . So they don't care when thieves come in and steal stuff even if it amounts to $1000 worth of shoes being stolen.. because all those boxes were Nikes so I'm sure it was pretty expensive.. I don't plan on ever going back to the store. I don't feel like I should spend any money in an establishment with people like that working there.. in fact, I think the thieves knew they would get away & I'm pretty sure that's not the first time or the last time that they will go there to steal more shoes. read more

Store was fully stocked and clean. Staff is friendly, but ignorant about what they carry in their store. I googled this place, drove across town to get Heelys. Which online they said, they carried in store, and there was not a single Heelys to be found. They weren't even sure what aisle they'd be on. Waste of gas to come all the way here. read more

Went in today to look at some shoes for our kids and hopefully get some for work for myself and we almost left empty handed but we had some help from a very nice employee makes Monica. She was sweet and answered all our questions with our any hesitation. She was nice enough to look at extra inventory for us and we were able to get shoes for our whole family. I just walked out. I got 3 kids plus myself. We drove across town to come here and pick out shoes. I walked in, made eye contact with the cashier and she turned away. Walked down half the store, past 3 employees and the avoided all eye contact with me. I'm not buying over $400 worth of shoes and can't get a simple hello and a smile. Just another warehouse/discount outlet for shoes - reminds me of Famous Footwear in California. The shoes are not the newest series or versions but they're 2nd newest at least. I felt like I was in an outlet name brand store which isn't bad per se but the shoes are still not cheap enough. I wish they were much cheaper but the store itself was nice. Clean and spacey enough that you're not bumping butts with people. The employees were a mixed bag. A few said hello and were friendly. A couple others were not nice, especially the guy who checked us out. Would I recommend to others? Possibly. I suggest looking all over for cheaper shoes before coming here. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We bought shoes for my daughter and she wore them for a total of 6 hours. The whole tops of the shoes frayed. Literally almost falling apart. They were Nike airmax shoes for 90$. We took them back the very next day hoping to exchange them for something that was going to hold up at least. The manager Lauren wouldn't take them back since they were worn for just a couple of hours. She said because she couldn't resell them. Who would even want to sell a product that you know is going to fall apart. Terrible customer service from Lauren. After spending 400$ on shoes at this establishment I will never shop here again. I stopped by this location for shoes and realized what I really wanted was insoles. The young man that helped me was a Bi-lingual AA gentlemen. He had other customers but was able to spread his attention to make sure we all were taken care of. The manager was kind and friendly too. WSS has a good selection of name brands and their own collection of shoes to choose from. First off when you walk in the door only the security guy greets you. There was zero customer service at all. Nobody asked me and I needed a shoe size that I could not find. There super lazy and for a shoe store that is very unprofessional. I won't be shopping here again, the mall shoe stores have better customer service then this. read more

I been buying from WSS since i was a kid in NOHO. i am a loyal customer and i love this store. until today. This Security named ERICK approach me while i was exiting store and ask to check bag and to uncover my 6 month old baby which is sick and i have prove of meds and hospital visits. it was fresh out and i had my son cover when this security kept harassing me that i am not leaving the store if i don't uncover my son assuming i stole shoes which that made me feel unwelcome and it seem like he was racist tours me and my baby.he was disrespectful rude and i really want to beat his ass . i end up uncovering my son just to prove that am not a thief as the security employee assume and hopefully management can do something about it. i was a loyal customer to WSS but i will no longer be coming back they really lost a good paying customer, it was around 8:40pm APRIL 2nd 2017 i was wearing a blue dodger jersey blue L.A CAP and i was holding my sons car seat with blue cover , management look at your cameras and see exactly how it happened Rude ass harassing me and my family read more
