Chocolate Croissant & Orange Vanilla Matcha (Iced)
    Destiny R.

Tried something new with the Orange Vanilla Matcha, and you could definitely taste the flavors. Matcha itself wasn't too sweet nor too earthy, solid balance. I definitely prefer hot matcha still over iced, no one has convinced me otherwise yet. The barista was great helping me decide between this and another specialty drink. Together on card it came out to about $10.50. $4.25 croissant and the rest for the matcha and tax. Should've warmed the croissant and there wasn't nearly enough chocolate in it, but nice and fluffy & flaky.

Pretty cool coffee shop with cozy vibe and environment. The place might be small but its got plenty of seats to chill and enjoy your coffee. I bought a cup of coffee and enjoyed the ambiance. Will definitely come here more often in the future : )

I got a spontaneous coffee here on a rainy weekday. There's not too much seating. Our coffees were made quickly. I liked my grasshopper with almond milk. The menu includes lots of classics and signature drinks. There were very few baked goods still available at around 1pm.

Stopped in for a cold brew and banana bread.. both pretty good.. location is also convenient on wycoff... quick service and friendly staff. Lots of coffee options and a few food options as well.

We just stumbled across this amazing little coffee shop on our way to dinner. And as we are HUGE Twin Peaks fans, we knew we'd have to come back when they were open. This place is so charming and nicely themed, but more importantly they have some damn fine coffee!! Highly recommend Coopers Special Latte!

sometimes i run to Bushwick--maybe that's symbolic of my need for an escape from Lower Manahattan or just a desire to be in a different neighb. either way, my coffee waystation of late has been Wyckoff Starr. it's a very small shop--eclectic, artsy-ish, & welcoming. there are a couple of seats inside but to me that's the incentive--go out and explore Bushwick with "a damn fine cup of coffee" in hand. there's a menu of coffee plus a selection of savory as well as sweet eats. while the interior is a tight squeeze if too many people walk in--the layout is uncluttered and has character. an Americano has been more than adequate for that hot caffeine kick with flavor. the staff is genuinely friendly. the nods to "Twin Peaks" are a nice touch.

Great iced caramel latte! Super fast service and they were extremely nice. Price is average to any other New York latte being around $6. The place is quite small so it's mostly for on the go. But other than that great coffee great taste!

Now y'all know me and when it comes to cafes and how much I absolutely appreciate and adore them. This was currently on my way to brunch with my friends. I ordered an espresso shot with a drip of honey. The staff and everyone was really friendly. If you love the outdoors and the simplicity of a cafe (with many options) definitely most definitely come here before and after brunch. Reasonably priced! Please support the locals!!

Now THAT is how you make a pumpkin spice latte! We just ate dinner and wanted kawfee. Walking into this cute coffee shop, your drawn to the vegan cookies on display. Now vegan doesn't bother me, why should they test cookies on rabbits and other small animals? Go Vegans! I start looking at the menu hanging on the wall and see Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte. Mmm mm give it to me now! We ordered two PSL and a vegan chocolate chip- oatmeal cookie not tested on rabbits. The sitting area was small but comfy. We enjoyed our coffees and we're on our way. The name is throwing me, Wyckoff Starr. How about Wyckoff Starr Cafe or Wyckoff Starr caffe or Wyckoff Starr coffee or Wyckoff Starr cuppa coffee? Work on that, I'll be back.

    Twin peaks theme

Twin Peaks themed coffee shop!!! I have been to the shop here and there and recently started frequenting for my morning bagel fix. And then I must've just opened my eyes or something 'cause it hit me.... Wait a minute there's a lot of Twin Peaks stuff here. There's two posters on the wall and the tables are made is wood slices. I love that decor accent. And then this morning there was a very cool Laura Palmer deconstructed poster addition. My favorite are the coffee sleeves with individual quotes. My favorite being "the gum you like is going to come back in style!" Brilliant. Now I just want them to change the menu up to "Log Lady Lattes" and "Iced Laura Palmer cold brew". Have I gone to far? I think not. And Black As Night Dale Cooper drip. And there should be cherry pie. Until then this is a great spot to grab coffee, a aforementioned bagel with cream cheese and tomato for a little over $3 and there's tons of treats in the morning like chocolate and banana bread. And there are also plenty of vegan substitutes in cream cheese/milk/treats. Good place to bring vegan friends. The space is small and is not the best for groups or crying babies.

I've gone there every day for like a week just because I needed a new shop. I'm new to the neighborhood. It's nice and quick and easy. I appreciate them enforcing rules about social distancing. I'm autistic and I wanted to give them a good review because of how they help me when I order. I get really confused and overwhelmed in one on one ordering contexts, especially new restaurants, but they help me fill in the blanks and the coffee and bagels are great. I'm only reviewing because I *do* like the service, I thought it stood out. There's a super friendly young woc who works there who recommended the really good donuts to me, and makes it really nice to visit.

Love the Chuck bagel sandwich. The Chuck has tomatoes, avocado, pepper and salt. It's simple but very delicious. Their lattes are good too.

You've really went downhill. Everything is dreadfully smaller for the same price. You used to have a giant fluffy egg square on your breakfast sandwich and now I've gotten one lumpy small egg drenched in so much overly spicy sauce - that used to be more soft and palatable, I can't even taste anything else, to compensate for the lack of sandwich for over $12. Insane. The fries were the highlight of my meal and that's really saying a lot. $6.50 for one of the smallest iced coffees I've ever received... I think you're staying open on highway robbery alone. Or that the gentrifiers just don't give a damn. Honestly, I could've gotten something better at the Bodega for less than $35 after the Uber fees. I feel bad leaving this honestly, but... how you go from such a wonderfully established place to some dreadful experience is just sad. Do better, become yourself again, because unfortunately I won't be ordering anymore.

Shucks I wanted to give this place five stars but it didn't start so well. The first barista who…read moretook my order was really great. I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
