My vehicle was fixed as promised. The staff here were very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The price I paid was a fraction of what the dealership wanted to charge and more on board with what my research online said it should cost. I'm very pleased with my decision to take my car here. I was apprehensive because it's a European car. But, my mechanic Antonio actually used to work at a Mercedes dealership. I would recommend KLM to friends and family and return. Due to my first experience with the CV axel going well I decided to return to have my thermostat replaced, oil change, and a tune up. Again, I was quoted a very reasonable price for the work and when I returned to pick up my car (which was ready same day) I noticed that they washed my car for me. Without our authorization, the shop added brake fluid, claiming the brake pedal went to the floor when they moved the truck into the bay. This was never discussed with us beforehand, nor were we given the opportunity to approve or decline the work. More troubling, within about a mile of leaving the shop, we experienced a complete brake failure. This created a dangerous situation that should never occur after a vehicle has just been serviced. When we contacted the owner, he claimed he had informed us there was a brake shop next door if we needed further service. That statement is simply not true--no such information was provided. While the original issue was fixed, the lack of communication, unauthorized work, and the safety risk we experienced afterward are unacceptable. We strongly recommend others proceed with caution and ensure all work is clearly authorized and explained before service is performed.

One week later, we left for that road trip and almost immediately received a low-pressure notification from the vehicle. We turned around, went back home, and found oil all over our driveway. We are now sitting at a Firestone waiting for them to fix a leak at the oil drain plug that was completely ignored by your technicians. Furthermore, the only oil they found in the vehicle seems like old oil that was never changed in the first place. This is completely unacceptable. We did exactly what responsible customers are supposed to do. We brought the vehicle in before a road trip, clearly explained the situation, and trusted your staff to do the job properly. Instead, we are dealing with a potentially serious issue, a ruined travel day, oil on our driveway, and the added time and expense of having another shop inspect your work. You have lost us as customers permanently. I also want to be very clear that I intend to make sure people know exactly what happened at this location. I will be sharing this experience honestly and publicly because I do not believe people should trust a shop that sends a customer out the door after an oil change and "road trip check," only for that customer to find oil leaking all over their driveway a week later.
