Rick fixed my A/C and referred me to other places that could do some of my other repairs faster/better (for example, I needed a front end alignment and he sent me to a tire place). I am somewhat clueless about certain aspects of cars because I had a long time trusted mechanic who has scaled back. So I really appreciate Rick's honesty. He's also within walking distance of the Enterprise Rental Car in Mableton, so if you really need to drop your car off and go to work (but don't have a ride), Enterprise is a good option.

On 10/25, I brought my 2011 Audi A4 with 115K miles to Motorcars International because my engine coolant light came on. My go-to mechanic (German Car Repair) was too far away, and Motorcars International had decent reviews--clearly misleading. After dropping off my car, I was contacted with a list of "necessary repairs": replacing the coolant pipe, upper timing cover, and upper control arms, totaling over $1,700. Trusting their "expertise," I approved the repairs. The moment I picked up the car and drove the short 1.7 miles home, red flags started flying. When I turned off the car in my garage, I noticed a bizarre running noise, something I had NEVER experienced before. Concerned, I called the shop, and the front desk guy told me it was "normal"--some absolute nonsense about it stopping after five minutes. Spoiler alert: it wasn't normal. Later that SAME day, I drove 4.4 miles, and guess what? The engine coolant light came back on! I just picked the car up only a few hours ago. How is this possible after just spending over $1K? When I called the shop again, front desk dude was, unsurprisingly, smug and useless. His "maybe you should bring it back" response was annoying. Ya think?! He even admitted they "might not have driven the car long enough" after the repair. What kind of shop doesn't properly test a car after repairs?! Afraid to risk the highway, I spent two hours crawling 4.4 miles back home, pulling over repeatedly as the engine coolant light kept coming on and giving my car time to cool off. It was a nerve-wracking ordeal that could have been avoided if they had done their job right the first time. The next day, I took the car back, only to be told that the water pump--the real culprit--needed replacing. This repair cost me an additional $1,164.92. When I asked why they didn't catch this the first time, I got some ridiculous excuse about it "not showing up." Newsflash: a thorough diagnostic should have uncovered this issue in the first place. Where is the subject matter expertise. I argued they should at least cover part of the cost since their negligence led to this fiasco, but they refused. This shop's lack of thoroughness, laziness, and poor communication could have cost me my safety. What if my engine had failed while on the highway? In total, I spent nearly $3,000, most of which could have been avoided had they done their job properly the first time. I will never return to Motorcars International and strongly urge anyone reading this to look elsewhere. For quality, professional, and thorough service, go to German Car Repair on 6070 Atlanta Hwy in Alpharetta. They have master Audi technicians, fair prices, and won't risk your safety with half-baked repairs.

I took my car to Ricky Jordan Auto as my last hope before making a huge decision about whether to get my car fixed or get a new used car. The mechanic at Ricky Jordan Auto found the clog that was not allowing transmission fluid to flow evenly. He fixed the clog and we replaced all of the transmission fluid for $208.00. Rude, horrible communicators, irresponsible, customer service that blames the customer for everything. Had a fender bender and here are the facts: Towed the vehicle to their location*notified them that I wasn't using my insurance*took awhile to receive the quote. I called often. On one occasion, i notified the owner I hadn't received a call back, he made a comment about his niece. Can't recall the exact wording. But I understood it to mean she was young and let's things slip. I paid the deposit for work to begin. Then told difference would need to be paid in cash. On one call, they told me something else would need to be fixed. Fine. I contacted them before going asking if I could pay w a credit card. She said fine, she'll take a copy of my credit card. I then make the journey to go get my car. I get there and she tells me she tells me the cost and it sounds off - I had to ask why? She explains the processing fee is a percentage. Bad communication. We get in the vehicle and notice the back rear mirror is shattered. By this time I have signed things got the key and was about to pull away. I go back inside and she says she say it but eh!!! It became a blame game and a nothing I can do, and not sure how it happened, no one moved your car, nobody else's car is damaged, the tow guy had stuff back there. It was horrible. I then say I'm not taking the vehicle until the owner who was away got back. I go back two more times, because she also said she would reverse my card. I couldn't pull it out of her why. I imagined because their was some level of culpability, and then I had to go back after I released the staff did not return my card. Mind you, no call from the owner, nothing. I have nothing positive to say about this service. I was made to feel like a customer that is hysterical, volatile, and doesn't understand optimal deserve or someone who only deserves to be treated in a disrespectful way. Meanwhile in between time I am far far from that. I must of been extremely irritated because this review has been in my draft. I strongly suggest the staff do not respond to this review. Further ridicule or sarcastic remarks will not change my opinion or treatment.
