The nail tech I received this morning ripped my nails and took half of the nail past the nail bed. I immediately stopped the service and walked out. When a fellow employee (I'm assuming the manager?) chimed in he said "oh it'll grow back". I am horrified and now concerned about the health of my nails. read more

This was my go-to nail spot for a while, unfortunately I will not be returning after my last visit. I wanted a special set done for a concert I was going to & I was let down completely. My nails turned out nothing like how I asked, upon asking if they had any rose decals as well; I was lied to until I asked to see all of them & found some almost immediately in the basket she brought me. My french tips were done so poorly, you can see the gap of clear & where my nail is underneath. I definitely got the WISH version of what I asked for. They also make you wait quite a while & I had gone previously with a friend & we ended up leaving after waiting over an hour with our feet in cold water. read more

This is my favorite place to get my nails done and I literally recommend everyone. Yes, it can be a bit pricey and a little bit of a wait when they're busy, but, they are very clean and do take their time to ensure that you are pampered and taken care of. Crystal, the owner, is the best with acrylics! She can literally do any design I want! If Crystal was busy, Lem would also do my nails and even he is amazing! Ken helps around the shop but he does give the best massages for your pedicures and he's my favorite person to talk sports with during football season. The quality of their work is amazing. My sets of acrylics have lasted at least 4-5 fills before having to be replaced. And even after taking them off, my nails are still strong and not damaged. I have never left this place disappointed and I've always gotten many compliments on my nails. I do suggest making an appointment before your visit because they don't have many nail techs and they can get VERY busy. read more

Worst ever! I asked for a gel manicure and as she was removing the dark color I currently had, she left a lot on and was going to leave it on and polish over it with the light color I had. You could still see it and I had to keep asking her to fix it. Then she never cut my cuticles. I asked why and she said I didn't as her to. Isn't that included in a gel manicure?! No lotion after, just a drop of cuticle oil on each nail that I massaged into my cuticle bed myself while she waited for payment. $60. Also there was a heavy cigarette smell. I had the worst experience at Wynn Nails Salon yesterday. I had a gift certificate which I showed to the nail tech.. once she saw the amount she upgraded me without asking.... When I asked the total she said $94 which was the amount of my certificate. I explained that I didn't ask for an upgrade and even if I had the amounts did not add up. I was upset and left but decided to run back and get a Business card. I began speaking to the nail tech again when a man that also worked there came in to the conversation. Everyone was explaining their side when a very large man (probably 3 times my size- I'm 5'1. 115 lbs), entered the conversation. After I listed Ed to what he had to say I asked him what his role was there. He said he worked there. I then asked if he did manicures and pedicures, he then told me he goes in and does laundry there. He said he was just trying to help because the workers weren't the best with speaking English. I then asked him if he spoke their language and he said no. The entire time he kept getting closer and raising his voice. I asked him if he could excuse himself because he had nothing to do with the situation and it was clear he didn't work there. He then got in my face (I felt the spit fly on me while he yelled) and yelled at me saying I'm a bitch and I just want to control the fucking shit out of the situation. Since things escalated and I was being ganged up on, I went to go get my phone so I could record. The large man stepped inside the store and just stared at me and laughed... walked around the salon with his chest out. I was so intimidated and I was telling the workers this and one of them yelled at me to leave and pushed me out of the way while he tried to close the door. The lady was scared and told him to stop and proceeded to give me a gift certificate... I didn't want it!!! That wasn't the issue at hand... I had already told them to keep the change from the original certificate . The larger man went back inside for his pedicure because that's what he was there for. Had been to this location previously awhile ago - maybe more. But had a good experience then. So, thought I'd try it again. This was not good. Two people working, maybe a couple, but I got the male after about an hour wait. I had a book so was not distressed. However, it was not a pleasant experience. He was rushed, did the minimal pedicure and feel I paid for more than I got. So, the "owner -manager"? came in after awhile and started re arranging chairs and checking on clients - which was much more than had happened previously. read more

This salon does not know how to do nails or customer service. I went in for a gel manicure and my middle nail was broken, she put dip on it, I can't explain what a half assed job it was, it ended up becoming loose on my finger a week later and still attached to my nail, causing a lot of pain for days, the paint job on the manicure was also not done well at all. I called to ask what can be done and the person on the phone just hung up, I called back and no answer. This place is not quality. Came here to give it a chance, the owner Krystal did my nails and was left with two cuts on my fingers. She left me a huge gash by my cuticle. I had even left over paint which I asked her to take off and she scraped it to the point that she actually cut me. Now I have two swollen fingers and I'm scared it's going to get infected. I don't know how sanitary this place is. I've never been hurt like this at any nail salon. To top it off she cut my nails way to short, Never coming back. I have always gone to Crystal for my acrylic nails, which she does impeccably ,110% every single time. I like them long and she does them like she can read my mind. I also have been getting pedicures with Mary and that's asking a lot lol and she just does it with a smile on her face and makes my feet look beautiful. Well originally I just wanted to get my nails done with my friend but I'm not from the Camarillo area so we just looked up nail salons. We showed up only two people working, they said come back at 12:30. We come back and then they have us sit down and take off our nails and have us sit for an hour and don't start our nails until 1:30. I understand they are short staffed but we could've come later. Then the man left me bleeding while cutting the skin around my nails and now it's all raw and scabbing. All I wanted was a gel french tip (they didn't shape my nails or anything) and it was more expensive than my normal place too. Just disappointed. read more

I left the gym this morning happy and ready to start my day so I decided to pamper myself and get a pedicure and a full set. This place was terrible. The two workers that were there were super unfriendly. I felt so uncomfortable being there that I decided just to put my headphones on and listen to music. My pedicure was terrible, it looks like a did it myself at home. The white nail polish around my nail is still there because the guy could not bother take it off. My full set looks okay. I don't recommend this place at all. I don't think they care about customer service and they are not perfectionists, I mean I still have the white nail polish around my toe nails. My Girlfriend and I come to Wynn Nails pretty frequently, it's always a very pleasant and relaxing experience. All the workers are very friendly and do an amazing job taking care of all your needs. They took out my ingrown toenails completely painless which is something I was very worried about going in, no need to worry here because the workers are extremely good at what they do! My girlfriend and I got our finger and toe nails painted (Amazing job they looked so gorgeous) and the best part is that the nail polish stays on for sooo long! until you want it off it won't come off :D in my opinion Wynn Nails is THE place to go if you want gorgeous looking nails that will last! Took 3 hours to do a simple acrylic French tip, you could clearly see my real nails under the color, the shape came out so wrong and the nails felt cheap, the lady didn't let them dry properly so I had marks already on them as I was walking out.
