This is my second time coming here to get a deluxe pedicure. The first time I loved the experience and loved the color and the work they did. However, their pricing is very misleading. I requested a Deluxe gel pedicure ($40) but when I paid they said they had to add the gel ($55). It makes sense but I wish they had more transparency on their pricing. Another reason I am not giving them a higher rating is this last time I went, I did not enjoy my experience. The guy doing my nails complained that they were very fragile and broke off. Which is true, and I did not blame him for that, sometimes my nails break off easily, this is not the reason for my rating. The reason I gave a lower rating is 1) he decided to use super glue on my nail and 2) he cut me a few times. This is the first time someone has used super glue because my nails were fragile. Maybe he was trying to cover up something. Not sure. But the cuts he made hurt a lot. He didn't do my gel application, another nail tech did and when she would use acetone, it burned A LOT. And she had to file my nails a little more because the first guy missed some spots. The place overall is very clean and welcoming but I'm not sure if I will go back again. read more

I don't often get my nails done but I decided to treat myself and called on a Sunday to ask for a gel manicure and pedicure with no appointment. I came in and was greeted by Tina (who I think is the owner) she was super friendly and asked if I could wait a few minutes. While waiting, the salon was a nice and relaxed vibe. Not too crowded either. I was then taken for my treatments and really enjoyed both. The gel polish was done very nicely and the person doing my nails checked in on me regularly to check everything was going as I wanted it. Also gave me a cold bottle of water at some point. The owner finally came to do my nails, which she rushed to do. No cuticle cutting, no lotion and my nails were horrible. They were different lengths and shapes, the gel was so thick and lumpy. Came here for the first time today and I don't recommend at all. The gentleman was kind and polite, however, I had to remind him to cut my cuticles which were not even properly cut. My nails were not even soaked in water, they didn't clean under my nails, and failed to give me a hand massage. This place SUUUUCKS. I've gone here countless times for acrylic sets, almost every time i'm left extremely disappointed. My nails lift up super fast. One time the paint PEELED OFF hours after getting them done. Last time, Tina worked on my fills, but was completely focused on the door and other people around us. She filed my nails way too thin and dehydrated them so much to the point where my nails felt like they were on fire. She had me come back a couple hours later to finish, and my nails looked nothing like how I wanted them. After spending 3 HOURS total in the salon that day she still made me pay full price. 60 DOLLARS. FOR. A. FILL. Absolutely INSANE. Never stepping foot into this place ever again. Did a wonderful job and was very clean. I brought my 5 year old daughter with me and Ivy was so cute with her. First and foremost, this is a family (and female!) -owned salon with a relatively small staff. Don't let the size fool you. Tina always does her best to accommodate my daughter and I. We love her. She is always very polite but also fun and spunky. My daughter always asks her for honest advise on her nails and Tina gives her the best service. She is very experienced. Aaron is a doll. He is very detailed, gentle, and fast. Both very skilled. The salon and bathroom are always very clean too. I really like this place. The atmosphere is more casual, and I feel the inclusiveness they implement. Julie has become my favorite nail tech. To start, she has a really fun personality and balances her professional side with her personal very well. She is very good at making sure there is no residue on your skin, the shape of your nails/ design matches each other, and is very creative. When she isn't available, I'll usually see Ty or Anthony. Ty i have seen mostly for pedicure or to prep for Julie or Anthony to design, he gives really good massages during the pedicure, and is thorough throughout the service. I won't be returning to this salon, this was my second time going there and I did not have a good experience. Before going I called to make an appointment. I wanted to get a dip powder manicure and asked the price on the phone and was told it is $40. When I arrived I showed the manicurist/owner, Tina a photo from Pinterest of a simple manicure that had 5 different colors total (a different color one each finger) and asked if she could do it. She laughed and loudly said no, no one can do dip with that many colors, too many powders on the table at once. Which I found off because the powders are in very small containers. I was willing to pay extra but since she said no and was rude about it, I just decided on one color, a pastel blue. While doing my nails, she burned my cuticle which has now scabbed over. Then while doing my nails she must not have put on enough coats of the dip powder because the color on my nails is nothing close to the blue color I selected, which she had the sample of the color I selected out on the table while doing my nails for comparison. My nails are a translucent white, nothing like the color I selected. Finally, when it came time to pay she said my total was $45, when her husband told me on the phone it would be $40. I let her and her husband know that on the phone he told me it was $40. Her husband just said oh yeah sorry and Tina said, he doesn't do nails he doesn't know the prices. I don't understand why he is giving prices out when he does not know them? I ended up paying the $45 and Tina awkwardly stood around waiting for a tip. I gave her a $3 tip just to be nice but I would definitely never go back. The customer service and attention to detail is awful. read more

Awesome service! The people here are really nice and do a good job. The massage could be more aggressive. It was pretty dialed back, but I still appreciated it. The salon is very clean and well-kept. I like all the natural lighting coming in through the big windows in the front. They accept multiple forms of payment too, which is convenient. I just moved to Camarillo and was excited that they had availability on a Saturday but I will never go back because: 1. They cut my toe nail and put glue on it to stop the bleeding. I asked what they used and they said just disinfectant. I now have a patch of glue covering dried blood. 2. The owner told a second person to correct the paint job on my toes since the first person left polish on my cuticles and didn't paint the full nail. 3. My manicure looks sloppy because some nails still have paint on the cuticles and a nail chipped on day 1. 4. My toes look great so thanks to the other lady who did them but when I say "no, please leave one toe alone" I mean it. I had an injury on one of my big toes so it's cracked and I asked them nicely several times to leave it alone and that they didn't need to do anything bc I'm just going to bandage it and they kept pushing to do cut it etc they actually used the power filer on it and it slipped and almost rip the nail off, then ended up cutting it too - please just listen when a customer tells you NO. I showed him a pic of what I wanted he asked "do you have something easier" okay I understood... he used clear tips I didn't say anything because I thought well he knows what he's doing I'm not the professional. My nails are nothing to what I expected they were the worst nails I've ever had! I chose the colors yellow and blue he didn't use white under the yellow or blue so they look like water colors. They look patchy and ugly I have no problem paying for good work when she looked at my nails to charge after giving my friend her price tina says to me, "ohhhhh ohhh your nails would of been over $100 but because I didn't tell you before I am going to give you a discount!" I was FLABBERGASTED I could not believe she was looking at my nails really convincing herself that this was $100 work! I'm sorry, but it was NOT. she then skips me and goes to my other friend so I ask "wait so what is the price?" and she pretty much shuts me up and tells me to wait because she's giving my other friend her price when she had already started with me?? I was so confused not to mention that was rude. So she tells me again I'm going to give you a discount it's going to be $80 I was SHOOK I've never paid $80 for this type of work! I had paid $100 with my tech on my birthday nails that had MANY crystals on each nail they were beautiful! But $80 for these! And she tried to say it was not only the length but that he used a "CRYSTAL POWDER" what in the world is crystal powder? And why wasn't I informed??? she was getting upset because I asked what the crystal powder was and she GRABBS MY HAND AND SQUEEZES AND SAYS "LISTEN" and I tell her to NEVER TOUCH ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!! we are in a pandemic, I'm pregnant, and why does she feel it's okay to put her hands on me the worst experience didn't even offer to fix my ugly nails and she let me walk out her nail salon with those nails she clearly does NOT care about her reputation! Tried this place as my nail salon was booked for the holidays & this was on the way to my destination. This review is specifically towards the owner/manager Tina. It was such an unpleasant experience given how high strung and erratic she is. From the moment I got there she felt the need to complain about every little thing or person that walked in. You could tell the entire salon was extremely uncomfortable and would be ran a lot smoother if she wasn't there. She took away the guy who was doing my nails after trying to pressure him to do my nails differently than what I asked for & then managed to file my nails to all different shapes and sizes due to her lack of attention. I had to stop her from ruining them further and ended up being there for 2.5 hours just to finish getting nails done by the original guy as he was the only competent tech in filing & doing nails. I would've been out a lot sooner if Tina just let the guy finish instead of making him attend to another walk in, when I actually made an appointment. Besides that, everyone looked like they were having a terrible time & couldn't wait to leave, including the employees. I wish I had never gone there but it was a last resort, I should've listened to the bad reviews I read. I definitely would never return as this was the worst experience I've ever had. read more

You don't get what you pay for at this place! I paid extra money for the sugar scrub and they barely scrubbed my feet and legs, and never did my arms and hands at all! Then they did an awful job on my nails. Plus, they never put lotion on my feet or hands which is a part of a pedicure and manicure! My friend who was with me also received horrible service, and they put lotion only on one foot and forgot her hands and her other foot! Lol! That lady did a little bit of a better job with her nails tho! This place does not care about the customer they only care about getting you in and getting you out and taking your money they do not care about the quality that they give you! Came here as a last minute decision to get our nails done and we are so glad we did! Tina was the only one working and trying to take care of everyone at once, but she still took us as walk ins! She even stayed over an hour past closing to do our nails. I have never been treated with so much kindness and compassion, Tina was such a joy to get to know. Not from the area but was looking for somewhere to get my nails done while I'm visiting my boyfriend and this is one of the best nail salons I've been too! I got a full set and Nai did an amazing job. She was so kind and had great techniques. Throughout the process she made sure that I was happy with how my nails were turning out. I am so happy with the shape and quality of my nails! I also got a basic pedicure and it really felt like a spa day. The pricing is also super reasonable. I got a full set with gel and it was only $40. My pedicure with regular polish was $26 which is similar to most salons. This salon has great prices for the quality. First off, i came in here knowing what color i specifically wanted, but could not find it amongst the samples...so i had to explain it to my nail tech. But guess what? This guy NAILED IT! (see what i did there) soft beigey-pink in matte for nails and toes Anyhoo..I am going to base this review on: customer service, quality of tools, equipment, ambiance of salon, and cleanliness. Here we go guys: 1. Customer Service: Walked in with my BF and we were greeted by a lady. I told her what I wanted (gel mani, reg pedi) and she explained it to one of the nail techs, and we just went right to it! My BF left me to go the gym next door so he didn't get anything done. BUT! There is a gym next door where your bf can work out! anyway .. moving fwd .. My nail tech, Kenny (this man is soo funny and magical), i had 3 broken nails (I'm a hot mess) and chipped nail polish on both hands lol ... BUT! The rest of my nails were nice and long so he fixed my broken nails to match the other 7 and shaped them to look like Sailor Moon Nails (long rounded..fyi) .. This guy was super gentle, was fast yet careful, and did such a neat job when he did my nails. I was highly impressed! This guy also picked my color to match exactly what i was describing so i knew he was a pro lol (i haven't gotten my nails done in a year because I literally moved to a rural area) but anyhoo ... A++ for this man Ryan was pedi guy! He was very quiet ... introvert type .. i didn't even tell him what I wanted and he just instinctively knew (i think Kenny told him) ... this guy was also super gentle, very neat with his work, the foot/leg massages were on point with reflexology techniques, warm lotion and towels post massage, AND he matched my toes to my mani without me saying anything! He also gets an A++ 2. Quality of tools/equipment/sanitation: I believe this place is brand new since everything looked super new. Massage chairs were clean, in working order, and were very comfortable. They use plastic liners for the foot soak tubs, gloves when handling customers, and individualized sanitized tools in packaging. The restrooms were well stocked and very clean. The entire ambiance was relaxing, and I didn't feel rushed. I really like clean places, and this place gets an A+++ ! My BF came back from the gym mid pedicure and they let him sit in the massage chair next to me which i thought was suuppper nice of them. Tina was the lady that greeted us in the beginning and she was super nice! The amount I paid for a gel mani/pedi is about average what I normally paid when I used to get my nails done every month (pre-rural living). I've had my nails on for about 2 days now and they look great still! I've washed dishes, did laundry, played xbox, been to Disneyland, and nothing has cracked! Would I come back here? YES!
