I love Wynn's. I've always found the employees friendly and helpful. The prepared foods are very good especially the Chunky Chicken Salad, the Chicken Milanese, Salmon and the roasted vegetables. I happened to stop in Wynn's Olde Naples Seafood on Tamiami Trail for the first time. So I noticed that the fresh food looked great and even some prepared items looked tampting. I bought one serving of Spanikopita (greek spinach pie). OMG was it delicious. (microwave for 45 seconds today). What was really exceptional was the seafood. Beautiful fresh fish displayed the right way. Luckily I met Gene the Seafood Market within Wynn's. He said they make their own lobster rolls and use only tails and claws (the right way). A sandwich with chips was $13.95 a bargain compared to the $20 to $23 at a restaurant in town. Since I wasn't going to eat the sandwich that day, Gene gave me a sample taste. After I recovered from some oohs and ahhs, I bought about 1/3 of a pound of the salad so I could make my own 'rolls' the next day. I had enough for two rolls and they were the best I have ever had. As fresh as the ones I have in Maine in August. The sliced smoked salmon was tasted and of course I bought just three large slices. Being alone I don't need more. Enough for three halves of bagels with cream cheese (Bagels bought at A Hole in One - Bonita Springs) Finally they had five different shrimp: some gigantic but raw and others cooked with and without the shell. Gene again was honest and told me the best deals was the shell on so I also bought the shrimp. At least three meals for me. I highly recommend Wynn's market. Pricey but well worth it. And the seafood - just ask for GENE and tell him Skip sent you. The bldg is deceiving... from outside, it looks like it's a large market. Inside, it's quite small, with a little bit of a few things. I really have 2 reviews for Wynn's. 1 for locals, 1 for visitors. This store is really meant for locals... wealthy, retired folks, who have a penchant for wholesome, tasty, pricey prepared foods... or perfectly prepped foods for your backyard grille. * Produce section doesn't impress me. I visited today for the 1st/last time... weren't many choices in fruit... small, organic veggie section... lots of empty bins & less than fresh looking choices. * Most of the center isles are frozen & canned foods, if that's your thing... it isn't mine. The rest are dried foods, like boxes of pasta & tons of bottled pasta sauce. * Snacks are a very small selection of junk food (1/2 an isle)... I was surprised as this place looked like a small Whole Foods to me & I wanted some pistashios or healthy snacks... none. * Inside, upscale baked goods & a coffee bar, which the locals love. * The fresh meat/seafood section is outstanding quality, not more pricey than any other market I've visited & I was there when locals were picking up pre-orders that are hundreds of dollars... a dozen filet minons, 2 dozen store-made kabobs, etc. Lots of $$$ flows through that meat counter. * To the right of the meat counter is a pricey cheese/antipasto kiosk, where an employee was handing out samples & to the right of him is 1/4 case of good, solid, store made meals for heating up. So, for the locals, if you want a good steak for the BBQ or prepared meatloaf/potatoes, turkey/gravy/potatoes meals, Italian meals or cheese platter & antipasto fixins, you've got it. For better produce (fresher & more choices), you might still need to hit the Publix 2-mi up the road. But, if you're hotel bound, as I am for a couple of weeks, the homemade offerings aren't in containers that can be placed in a small hotel microwave... meaning size & material of the containers. Boo. Cuz some of them look fantastic & are decently priced... a whole meal for $9-15, many that could feed 2, if you also p/u a salad. I suppose I could spring for some small Tupperware, but I'm looking for easy & found the store too late into my trip. I was disappointed, overall. Nothing there for me. Great party food for cheese platter craving & grille-centric locals, especially if you eat no plant food & salads are a distant companion. For visitors to the area, you can p/u fancy desserts, water, wine... no beer. 3.5* out of 5 for the locals. 2.5* out of 5 for travelers. You just won't find many to-go offerings here, unless you eat frozen dinners or pricey cheeses. read more

I absolutely love Wynn's prepared food. I tried several items and everything tastes fantastic!! My favorite is the meatloaf. I purposely come here to have the meat loaf, not to sound crazy, but the last two times, I've had it for breakfast, with mashed potatoes and gravy. When I eat they're food it reminds me of Christmas, just a warm, delicious treat for myself. read more

A recent visit to Wynn's Market was very disappointing. For birthdays I purchased 2 items. A lemon meringue pie. The lemon was more of a lemon curd not a light lemon filling. The meringue did not cover all of the top of the pie and what was there was flat and had no taste. A frozen pie would have been better Wasted $18.00 Next item was my favorite, a German chocolate cake. This was a mess. The layers of cake were a very dark chocolate, not the lighter chocolate it should have been. The traditional icing was so heavy and piled on the cake the thin pieces of chocolate on it. Then a very heavy dark chocolate border was piped around the top. All you taste is an overpowering sweet taste. Wasted $30.00. It's not so much the money as disappointing for birthday celebrations. read more

I travel from Fort Lauderdale to Wynn's North Naples just to buy fish. Every trip I load up and package it all with seal a meal. Never ever have I had any piece of fish with odor. Super fresh and delicious. I buy the black and red grouper, the fabulous red snapper, hog fish, when available and gorgeous gulf shrimp. I always am completely satisfied. My husband and I drove to Naples, FL yesterday to look for apartments and I ran across Wynn's Market. I am used to shopping at upscale grocery stores in other cities I have lived in. Unfortunately, in Ft. Myers we only have Whole Foods which is great and Fresh Market which I enjoy as well. However, when we walked in the door at Wynn's and started in the produce department I found such a selection I haven't been able to buy anywhere since moving to Ft. Myers. The meat, fish and seafood were unreal, the wine selection, the flowers. If I had a cooler or two with me I would have purchased everything in sight. I will be prepared for my next visit which will be next week. In addition, to have Trader Joes down the road topped the charts. I am sorry that a few customers said they had bad customer service. We found it exceptional. I stopped at the Salsa display and a young lady who was a personal chef in NYC explained the different types and how they were made with fresh ingredients from the farms (we were the couple with the little Maltese). The staff couldn't do enough for us. I hope to find an apartment in Naples so we can be a regulars. read more

The worst grocery store experience I have ever had. I was discriminated against because I was asking about food stamps. They do not accept food stamps and I had no idea until I got to check out. So I paid which is fine. My fault for assuming. But the cashier says "only rich people go here". That ruined my views of that grocery store and Naples. I will never forget such disrespect. I am not rich, but I can afford groceries. I did not need to be treated like that. I spoke to the owner and I hope something was done about this. If you are not loaded with money don't shop here because the staff will give you dirty looks and say rude comments. I asked a question about the wine I was buying and the other cashier rolled her eyes like I was asking so much of her. The customer service here is terrible. These people need a reality check. I placed an order to deliver some bakery and bottles of wine from Illinois to my family that live in Naples for birthday. Order was placed a week ago. I was told that for them to deliver I would have to order 50$ worth. I talked with Jeanne several times to confirm. I talked with her the day before scheduled delivery and also called the day of delivery. The employee stated bakery would be delivered in afternoon. I get a call at 2:30 in afternoon telling me they weren't going to fulfill order. I got 3 different reasons why from 3 different people. So no birthday present for my sister. Horrible customer service. If they would have told me all this a week ago I could have sent something else for her birthday. read more

Great market with a wonderful bakery and deli. I got a homemade quiche that was fantastic with broccoli and cheddar. The 7 layer bar was the best. Volcano was also great. The prices are on the high side, but well worth it. The breads are all excellent as well as the cookies. The prepared foods are also great. Sushi is fresh. The store is chocked full of hard to find wine and beer. Good selection of frozen foods and vegetarian items. Fresh vegetables and fruit, mostly organic. Friendly people, willing to help. Great location with huge parking lot. Definitely worth a trip for desert and bakery items, as well as wine. read more

Best market in town, I'm from Europe and it's hard for me to be Impress by the food here in the USA. But Wynn's market is a very amazing experience. They have the best seafood and meat in Naples. Wynn's is a family business where the Wynns actually work in the store and assist customers. This is what I love. They also have good wine, chocolate, and coffee selections. (You can see where my priorities are.) On the downside, it's small-ish so i can't make it my one-stop shop since it doesn't have everything i need and the prices are fairly high. Nice place nice experience and nice people. I love their pre packaged sandwiches for when I am on the go. I can grab some boars head honey mustard and be all set for less than 7 dollars. Wynn's market has always been a favorite of mine - from way back when they were still on 5th Avenue South. Why? Here are just three of MANY reasons: 1. An actual Itamae - the real deal - creating to-go sushi. 2. Jamón de bellota ($128 per lb) always appears to be in stock. 3. Chopped liver always seems to be in stock (made in-house). There is nothing gastro-wise that you could want which isn't available here. At least that's been my experience. read more

We love Wynn's. We bought 5 porterhouse steaks for our Christmas dinner and they were the best steaks we've had in years. So tender ! We bought eggs which were priced better than anywhere else in Naples ! and they had a great selection of produce. My family and I just had the most amazing experience at Wynn's. For being a smaller supermarket Wynn's has all you need PLUS a lot more. Fresh Individual meals, sandwiches and soup, plus the fresh fish counter is like a fish lovers dream. Giant shrimp as big as your hand and unbelievable tuna and grouper filets. GREAT FOR EXPLORERS AND GRAB-AND-GO My family tends to rush for the store's rear where the entire back area is taken over by their grab-and-go deli: lots of pastries, Seafood, Meats, and entrees. Unfortunately there's no place to sit and eat your food in or around Wynn's. Their favorite area is the pastry section for slices of their decadent Chocolate Cake (very rich) or Coconut Macaroons. CALL IT A GOURMET MARKET There's a pretty comprehensive wine corner and a produce corner stuffed with all varieties. Other than that the market itself--the middle area--hosts very familiar items. You can probably find the same items hidden at regular grocery stores but this place collects all those higher-quality items and makes it easier to find here. All the basics needed to cook meals or hosts a dinner party can be found here. Small, scattered areas for local products (like Florida Beer or Coffee) can also be found. I also like the look and feel of Wynn's interior - all the dark colors and mildly dim lighting makes it feel more high-end without being unwelcoming. GLUTEN-FREE, ALLERGIC PYRA SAYS You'll find more 'alternate lifestyle' choices in those specialty markets however a decent number can be found at Wynn's. They have a dedicated gluten-free section (pretty small) with other products scattered around. They aren't advertised as such, but you can find a few in the prepared-food back area too. read more

For me, I like a boutique grocery store to have an amazing deli and Wynn's is great! When you walk in you always get a whiff of something great from the bakery so, try as you might... you won't be able to stay away. They also sell specialty beer and wine. Everyone here is always so helpful and friendly! I picked some cookies yesterday night, one being the gluten-free ginger cookies and it was the best ginger snap i've ever had!!! They tasted fresh out of the oven and you would never know it is gluten free. I also picked up the chocolate chip coconut cookies for a friend who says that this specific cookie from wynn's is their favorite cookie they've ever had. Prime rib for xmas dinner was amazing. The best cut and quality ever. You could cut with a fork. New years crabs, scallops, fish was fresh and huge. Everything at Wynns is top as well as the staff. For years my family has enjoyed the takeout sandwiches made to order from the deli at Wynn's. Today I was really disappointed to see that they've changed their bread to a much thicker slice and cut back substantially on the amount of meat or in my case chicken salad.
