I discovered that my laptop would no longer hold a charge unless it was plugged in. After testing out a few things, I was able to determine that my battery needed to be replaced. I pulled up Yelp and searched local businesses that could do it. I called three places. Dan was the only one that answered right away. I explained the issue and inquired about details and price. He told me to text him my laptop model and he would let me know the price and timeline after looking at batteries. I love that we were able to communicate and do most of the transaction via text. He responded rather quickly with the price, the arrival date of the battery, and that he would be able to do it in house while I waited. I am not sure the going rate for battery replacement. It seemed a little high to me (I know how much the batteries cost and it was more than double), but I decided it was still well worth it to guarantee it was safely and accurately replaced. I have a VERY good laptop that I would not be able to replace with an equivalent model. My laptop is essential for me. He required payment before ordering the battery. I paid and he said he would let me know when it arrived on the specified date. I called him that afternoon since I hadn't heard anything. He said it had just arrived in his Amazon locker. I told him it would be okay to do the following day and when I would come to the store. When I arrived, it took him only a few minutes (maybe 10-15 minutes). He replaced it and asked me for my charger. He made sure it was retaining charge (it was!). I was good to go. The entire process was very easy and painless. I will definitely call (or probably text) Dan again if I run into any more electronic issues. read more

Great service and great prices. This is a small, family owned business run by Dan himself. He not only is very honest, but he provides high quality work. He's got the lowest prices in the region and his business doesn't just fix one thing, he fixes iPhones, computers, tablets, and anything that is electronics that breaks- he figures it out. I've even seen him fix a pharmacy (pill counter) (I don't know the correct term for it). He has a restroom and also if you wait in his shop, he has entertainment. I built a desktop computer (something I do every 6-8 years). I far from an expert, but I can put a computer together. Once I got it all together, I could not get it to boot up (go into post). I brought it over to Dan and he told me not to worry, he would figure it out. A few hours later, Dan called me an told me he had it fixed. He offered to load Windows 10 on it for me for a good price and let me know I could pick it up that day! Dan was very quick, knowledgeable and thorough. After taking it home and using it for a couple of days, I had another problem. I called Dan and he told me to bring it back in and he would look at it, no charge. At first it seemed like great customer service in which they boasted on there site. However it was not what I had paid for in which I had paid quite a bit. In end i was suppose to get custom graphics which were never done. He said he do It later in which I reached out never got a response. Many things he was suppose to configure did not work aka light guns and 4 player mode. Now I have to look somewhere else as for a while just gave up. Don't waste your time anywhere else. Dan is super awesome and sweet. I was in deep trouble because I was about to sell my computer and needed it reset. During the reset process the computer basically would not get past the loading screen. I was on the phone with tech support for two hours and finally said screw it. Called Dan's shop and he gave me a super great deal to fix it after explaining the situation. He cares about his customers for sure and doesn't break your bank. Wife's laptop needed a new keyboard. Dan fixed it at a reasonable price in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the laptop now has deep scratches on the lid (like something was placed on top and moved carelessly) and the keyboard (while working well) seems to be a bit uneven. Was planning on using Dan in the future, but decided against it. Dan provides adequate work for a fair price. I have two Dell Inspiron laptops, a fairly new one and an older one that doesn't work. They are similar models. The screen broke and the battery failed on the newer one. I asked another repair shop if the parts from the old one could be used as replacements and was told they could not. I would need new parts and they aren't cheap. I went to see Dan, who said let me look at them. He looked and said he thought it could be done and replaced both parts that day.
