We're lucky to have this restaurant in Auburn. As a Sac State alumni, I was spoiled for years with excellent Mediterranean options (on campus and in the greater Sacramento area) and often wished we had a place of our own here in town. I ordered a combo chicken and beef kabob plate to go and the young man at the counter was so friendly. I asked for extra sauces and it was worth it! The complimentary barley soup while I waited was so good. The portions are huge..enough that I was able to make three meals (after adding a couple of extra pita breads). Their place is clean and it's obvious the owners take pride in their service to our community. As mentioned in another review, the owner, Essy was a world champion in karate. He had a place that was cater only for 10 years and opened this place about a year ago. Ordered a chicken kebab wrap and lamb wrap. As other reviews mentioned, lots of meat! The pita is steamed (as Mexican places do with tortillas), then lined with lettuce, tomato, sliced cucumber, and feta. Next, the protein was layered over it. A couple of sauces drizzled over that, then wrapped in foil. They also included a couple of sauces in the box. Meat was tender and moist. Delicious! We will return! read more

So glad I tried this fab Mediterranean gem! Until i read the Yelp's I had not known what opened a couple months back. Rainy night and walked into a warm inviting welcome from the owner Essy. Sparking clean and bright. I studied the menu and he gave me a couple quick suggestions. He was prepping some plates and they looked fab. There are few booths and some table chairs and counter to eat in and tables outdoors. I ordered the kebab salad with beef as my protein. They have chicken and lamb too. The preparation and presentation was made to order and looked so good. The plate had hummus, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, red onion and a very generous portion of beef that is tender and nicely sliced. Accompanied is a spicy chili sauce taziki and a special pomegranate sauce. I used them all. I added falafel side which had 6 pieces. While I waited i got to sample the fab soup. Everything I had was excellent. They have plate options and pita wraps too. I also had the baklava and it was drizzled with honey. Omg! These selections provided so much satiety! We also ordered the loaded fries with chicken, hummus, cucumber, feta, tzatziki, onion & cilantro. Would order both of these weekly if we lived in the area.
