Chicken Cobb Salad and Verde Chilaquiles with carne asada and two eggs sunny side up.

Well MET finally opened! We've needed new places to eat in Auburn and grass valley for awhile, so this was a nice addition. This place had decent food all around. My chilaquiles with carne asada was fire. The biscuits and gravy I tried was decent, but I'm a harsh judge because that's my favorite breakfast item. My family liked it, I like it. I think you'll like it. Try the Bloody Mary!

We love Mario's Early Toast period. From the first one we tried in Folsom, then the one in Roseville, to the one in Rocklin. All have their own personalities. On Mother's Day weekend we decided to head up to Auburn to sample the new venue. As expected, it was crowded but we made it there well after lunchtime. A little rough getting a drink at the bar but again, they are fairly new. Once we sat down we were assisted by Christian. Orders came out and what we expected. Love the toast, the food items, the spacious setting and the atmosphere. A nice little drive away from Roseville and great change of scenery. This location is open till 9pm! Imagine that.

Had breakfast here this week. We were greeted and seated promptly. The server was attentive and very friendly. We ordered and the food came out in about 10 minutes. Notably, the food was hot and fresh. As my reviews of other restaurants, I don't care for lukewarm food so that was great. The food quality and taste was excellent. We will continue to patronize Marios.

We have eaten here a few times. Last night we had my husband's birthday dinner and the service and the selection on the menu was amazing. One can eat breakfast all day long or lunch and they also have a small dinner menu as well. The waitstaff staff are friendly, serviceable and are always checking to make sure you're happy with your meal. I am so glad that this restaurant is near the Lake of the Pines, North Auburn, California. We really needed a place like this. We'll be back for sure. By the way, the ambience is perfection. Thank you.

Early Toast is FINALLY OPEN!!! We are all so happy in Auburn, Ca that this restaurant is open! The facility is beautiful and clean! So far customer service is a 10 and so was the food! This is right outside of the Lake of the Pines so it's super convenient!!!! We can't wait to go back!!

Celebrating my 63rd birthday today, I wanted a fantastic meal to cap off a movie night. We stopped by a new spot in Auburn, and it was everything I hoped for! Our server, Kevin, was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and made the experience feel very personal. The food? Healthy, fresh, and absolutely delicious. A wonderful way to celebrate a special day!

Service was great! We went on a Thursday, 10:30am. If you go for a meal it is reasonable. If you go for Mimosas and food it can get pricey

Well, no disappointment here! It was on a Thursday morning- people were there eating, more then kept coming since it's almost lunch time. The server gal is super sweet, prompt, and came back plenty of times asking if everything is alright! I had the hot Reuben sandwich with a cup of their clam chowder while my husband had the fish and chops and a bowl of clam chowder. LOVE the soup! Nice balance of creaminess, taste and enough clams! Filling and satisfying on its own. The sandwich was also tasty- enough that I had to bring back half to take home. Husbands fish and chip which was on their special of the day was a bit disappointing- he said wasn't as tasty as he hoped and could have been a better serving size. Overall, nice place to have breakfast or brunch; cute place to chow down since liking at everyone's else's food- serving size it quite hefty! Yay! Definitely coming back more often!

I don't know what was going on back there, but the servers barely made rounds to our table, didn't even ask us if we wanted coffee, and when we asked one server to check on our food. All she said was "it would be out soon" and we heard that for the next 10 minutes each time we asked. The restaurant itself seemed pretty clean although the bathrooms definitely could use renovation. You can just tell that either they have so much business they don't care much about service or they're just not quite sure how to dial everything in to balance the front of house and kitchen delivery. If I have any specific suggestions to offer: tell your customers upfront about your kitchen wait times. Nobody wants to wait an hour for breakfast food. Make sure to follow up with your customers and ask them if they want anything else to drink besides water it seems like a really easy way to make extra money.

Happy Easter everyone!…read more Today, my daughter and I went out to breakfast here at Sweetpeas. It is located off the freeway on the corner of Bowman and Luther roads. There was plenty of parking when we pulled in. As you walk in, you seat yourself. I hadn't been here before, but my daughter has. When we sat down (table and chairs kinda place), one server got us a couple of waters while we were looking over the menu.. perfect, because that's what we love to drink. After we decided on what we wanted I got a chance to look around at the decor on the walls. It felt very family friendly with baby pictures on the walls, signs, coffee mugs along the restaurants name spelled out on the wall. It was very cute and cozy. My daughter ordered the Carnitas Omelet (Carnitas omelet with jack cheese, black beans, red onions, avocado, and black olives, topped with sour cream. Served with sourdough toast and fresh fruit) with strawberries. I ordered the Huevos Ranchero's with eggs over medium (Corn tortillas, refried beans, 2 eggs, sour cream, avocado, homemade salsa, and cheese cheese. Also served with a side of salsa.) We didn't wait long, it arrived within 10 minutes. Also, after smelling their delicious coffee, I had to have a cup! A+!!!! My daughter let me try her Carnitas Omelet. Their Carnitas is on point! It was tender and has great flavor! Her omelet was beautifully cooked, being that it was gorgeous, yellow and fluffy. My Huevos Ranchero's was crispy in the bottom as I requested. I love the topping of avocado. The only thing I would change is to get all the salsa on the side. There was quite a bit on the Huevos Ranchero's themselves and it was a little overwhelming. Next time, I'll order it completely on the side. The menu has it listed as homemade... it tasted a little bit like it was Pace chunky salsa. I didn't even touch the side of salsa that also comes in the side and I wasn't sure what the extra side of tortillas was for, but I took those home. My daughter took home about half of her 3 egg omelet and some toast. Maddy was a great server. Everyone helped each other out by doing coffee refills for all tables (not just their own), running out hot food, and helping clean up tables as people finished their plates. Great team work! We paid up in the front and we're on our way. BE SURE TO TIP YOUR SERVER FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK!

There were plenty of goodies to choose from like pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, cake slices, brioche bread with fruit, cinnamon rolls and several other products for sale. Their cake of the week was a mocha cake! It has layers of chocolate cake with an Expresso milk soak, frosted with expresso buttercream frosting with a chocolate ganache drip, topped with cocoa nuts... WOW!!! The artisanal breads are located on the side of the shop when you walk up towards the case. They have many flavors like roasted sourdough, pumpkin seed, kalamata olive, rosemary & lemon, and more! All breads are preservative free and made with organic flour. I decided to try the flourless brownie along with a ham and cheese croissant. I wanted something sweet and something savory. The flourless brownie was definitely my favorite of the two. It was rich, chocolatey, and had that creamy texture that you want from a good flourless brownie. It was a good size, too! The ham and cheese croissant itself was good and had a nice flaky texture, but I really wish there had been more ham and cheese inside. It felt a little light on the filling, especially compared to the size of the croissant. I absolutely enjoyed the flavor and flakey texture. It was a perfect crossiant, minus the ham and cheese part. The inside is cute but be prepared to get cozy with only a small amount of space to sit. Thankfully, they also have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your pastry there. I didn't get a picture of indoor or outdoor seating because they were a good amount of people enjoying their dining experience. I guess they know where the goodies are! Here! Overall, I liked discovering this little spot. Between the pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, and other goodies for sale, there was plenty to look at and definitely a few things I want to come back and try... and I'd for sure grab another one of those flourless brownies!
