I also had a lesson / swing evaluation to start with and Edward did a great job and showed me a lot of things prior coaches (without the technology and patience) have missed. He really got my setup dialed in on the first lesson. Things felt a lot more connected. As a 15 handicap with a goal to make single digits I am excited to have this place in PV and close to home. I was really trying to convince my wife to let me build a backyard simulator and drop $15k but now i have a place less than a half mile away i can go and i don't have to anger the lady. win win. There's also amazing hours and if you have a membership you can access the hitting bays even when the staff are not there via a code-in system. So well though out. So well built. Neither of us had ever played before. To quote Mike, "the best way to learn how to grip a club is to buy a book." Really? Wish I had; then I wouldn't have gotten golf elbow because I was holding the club wrong. He never checked our grips after the first 2 minutes of the first lesson. At the last lesson when I asked if it was normal for it to hurt when I swung the club he said, "well you're holding it wrong." When I said this was how you showed me; he told me to "buy a book" For 6 lessons, all he showed us was chipping and pitching. I kept asking him to show us how to hit off a tee and putt. Finally, on last lesson he showed us how to hit off a tee. He never showed us how to putt, score, choose clubs, or how to play a hole; very little info about how to play the game itself. He spent endless time pontificating about golf philosophy, his personal experiences, and saying hello to every person at the golf course. The only thing that made it worthwhile was that my son and I were spending time together doing something new. My advice...find a different pro. Mike Buroza's advice...buy a book.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about them, and if I could give their gym 100 stars, I would. I started training with Kim 3 years ago. I set out to just do a few training sessions to get back on track as I'd always been an exerciser but had fallen off the wagon. My experience with Kim was so postive that I kept coming back. Its three years later and I'm so glad I'm still working with her and Chris. I've lost some weight, I feel a lot stronger and healthier, and I feel more balanced in my attitudes towards food and exercise. I've lost body fat without going on a crazy fad diet. I love it! I've always gotten lots of personal attention here. Both Kim and Chris have extensive knowledge of physiology and continue to study. They are always taking classes and attending seminars so I know I'm in good hands. I've gotten the most comprehensive workouts here - strength, balance, flexibility, power, stamina... They aren't in to trends or fads. If I mention a fad diet to Kim, she has usually already studied it and can site scientific journals that refute the claims of that diet.
