This coffee is shockingly so good for being in a mall. My expectations were low but my coffee craving was so strong that I drove to the mall just for the coffee. They have a pretty creative menu with a lot of unique syrups and drink concoctions so it made it hard for me to choose. I asked the worker for her recommendations and she kindly explained the menu to me. I was sold when I heard about the cafe de olla being made in-house and fresh at that -- she pointed to the vat right behind her. So, I got the iced cafe de olla latte and it was the perfect sweetness with hints of spice that added flavor to the coffee. I would order this again and wanted to come back here the same day. There was no line when I went but they was a line forming when I was leaving. There's no seating area so it's more of a grab-and-go place. read more

I walked into Xanti's and ordered two drinks: a strong macchiato (because sometimes you just need that punch) and a hot lavender matcha for balance. Total was $11.25, which felt more than fair. I tried paying with a $100 bill, but the barista politely explained they couldn't take it. No stress, no attitude -- just professional and smooth. Service really stood out here. The barista, a friendly guy with calm energy, not only took the order but noticed I'd settled into my phone at the table. A couple of minutes later, he personally brought both drinks over. I woke up craving matcha on my last day in Palm Springs and decided to give Xanti's Coffee in Palm Desert a try after seeing their rave reviews on Yelp and Google. They are located on Floor 1 of The Shops at Palm Desert, a fully indoor shopping mall in Palm Desert. I didn't realize that prior to coming since I had assumed The Shops at Palm Desert were more of an open-air shopping center with a town-like atmosphere similar to Town Square Las Vegas. I'm mentioning this primarily because it took a lot more effort to get to Xanti's Coffee than I initially anticipated. I tried to enter through Dick's on my first attempt to enter the mall, but their internal entrance into the mall was closed at the time. So, I had to exit Dick's, reenter through a main entrance for the mall, and explore the mall to locate the coffee shop. The extra effort was well-worth it because the baristas at Xanti's have excellent attention to detail and meticulously craft the beverages right before your eyes. I was also in "serious business" mode when I placed my order since I knew my exact order and already had my debit card in my hand to make the transaction as quick and efficient as possible. That didn't stop the cashier from striking up a conversation with me and bringing his human touch to the transaction. That impeccable hospitality was a through line of my interactions with Xanti's staff as a customer, which likely explains the bustling crowd at the coffee shop during my visit. I ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes for my strawberry matcha to be made, which I didn't mind for my leisurely Sunday, but something to note if you don't have a lot of time to spare. The drinks here are fantastic! I simply can't get enough of their mint Matcha lemonade. So much that we visited every single day during our stay in Palm Desert! I hope they open up more locations and expand to Los Angeles so I can enjoy their drinks more often. Service is wonderful, they are so friendly and upbeat here. Prices are fair and everything is made to order quickly can be customized your liking. Highly recommended if you are looking for a refreshing treat while in the mall! I was honestly surprised by how impressive this coffee shop was--especially for being inside a mall! We ordered the Strawberry Matcha Crème Latte and the Banana Crème Matcha Latte with oat milk, and both were absolutely delicious. Real matcha lovers know that color and presentation matter just as much as taste, and they nailed it . The matcha was vibrant, smooth, and balanced perfectly. The service was also warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really hope they open a standalone location somewhere else in the Valley--this spot deserves to shine. Service is sweet and the drinks are well made and taste lovely! But very slow so plan ahead. Ordered 1 drink with 5 people ahead of me and waited 45 minutes. I had time so I counted, 8 drinks before mine. And yes, fully staffed, 5 total behind the counter. I'm typically patient but couldn't really get around waiting so long for something that should be quick. Could've just been staff that day, but first experience and likely last for me. read more

There was a coffee and tea place at this location before, so I was surprised to see another coffee shop go in. I had never heard the name before, but decided to give it a try. Glad I did. The staff are very friendly. The hot drinks are highly recommended. Their sandwiches are all first tier delicious. I occasionally go here for my lunch and have always been pleased with my order. Wow first time coming here and it does not disappoint! I got a regular matcha and a horchata matcha latte and both were sooo good! They had really unique drink combos and I'm definitely coming back to try more. It's on the first floor at the mall so it took a while to find at first but they do also have seating in front. Amazing amazing amazing is all I can say! Wonderful experience it was my first time trying it after hearing all the rave reviews and it surpassed my expectations. One of the best coffee and matcha I've had, it made my list of top coffee shops. I had the strawberry matcha, it was perfectly sweetened and high quality. I forgot the name of the coffee I had, I think it was the Abuelita flavor and it was insanely delicious and nostalgic. The people were nice but it legitimately took almost 15 minutes to get my coffee in a completely empty store. I wish I was kidding. I actually left the store to look the GameStop next door and it still wasn't ready by the time I got back. When it finally did come out they had made it wrong and had to remake it. Which surprisingly only took 5 minutes. The coffee was aggressively fine and tasted old, not worth the wait or the price. The food was fine, it's about what you would expect but for an astronomical price. The theme is also kind of up in the air, it seems to be trying for a Native Hispanic aesthetic but it's not capitalized on at all. Truthfully there's no reason to rave about this place. read more

What an awesome addition to the Desert! I've now gone there twice with my mini me & both times it was a great experience. The staff is amazing, the drinks and variety of specialty drinks is fabulous. They even have Vietnamese iced coffee which is my obsession. Their avocado toast is delicious and decently priced. But most of all the service is really great and the guys that helped us were wonderful. I didn't get their names and even if I did I wouldn't remember but they'll know who I am from this post. You guys got a regular for sure! My only complaint is that it's located inside the mall and I'm not crazy about the mall, but I'll make trip just for them that's how good they are read more

Best place and amazing friendly people ever !!!! I got a drink for my girlfriend and some rude and obnoxious woman took it not looking at the name of the order!!! Either way I explained the situation to the barista with the Versace glasses and he gave me the drink the girl took and gave me a free pastry which was really nice because my girlfriend is really moody!!! My wife told me she wanted to try this place. I'm glad she told me about it. I ordered the Mazpan latte and my wife ordered the horchata latte, wet also ordered a slice of avocado toast. The coffee is delicious, xanti's did not disappoint. The mazapan and the horchata latte's were amazing. The staff was so friendly, I really hope this place continues to succeed they deserve it. I highly recommended Xanti's to anyone looking for a different spin on coffee. The avocado toast was delicious as well. read more

They'll mess up your coffee order twice, then try to make you pay AGAIN for what you wanted. They thought I was going to pay $18 for 1 coffee? It's overpriced already. They harassed me about their mistake that had me waiting 15 more minutes to get a simple drink. I would NEVER come here again & I wouldn't recommend them to anyone ever. The matcha is good! The serving size is also generous I would say, I normally finish my drinks pretty quickly but this matcha lasts me a bit. I got a matcha sweetened but it's not overwhelmingly sweet and still has that matcha flavor to it. It's a great spot to get matcha :) read more

No outlets inside. Solid free WiFi. Restroom available. Parking lot available. Service was friendly! They offered the customer in front of me iced tea samples to help her order.

They also clearly show this on their website for batch orders. Half and half up charge is mostly a margin play. It's a commodity dairy product; costs almost nothing extra per serving and is typically free at self serve stations. My feedback that the up charge should be to a premium product was gently missed by the owner.

It was very hot and the wait was an hour. They had an electrolyte cart available for people in line. The space is large and open, but the wooden tables and seating weren't comfortable. The tables were also so big I had to yell to have a conversation with my friends. As for the drinks, they were creative and unique. The matcha leaned more on the bitter side, and in the strawberry matcha, I could barely taste the matcha itself. It was still yummy and refreshing.
