The folks here are friendly and you can tell they are knowledgeable and love the industry. I randomly stumbled across this place when I was grabbing lunch in the area on my break. I can't speak to much on the value because I was just going in to take a look at the time (and didn't purchase anything on that particular visit), but from the price tags, everything that I saw seemed very reasonable. This is the type of place that I would have spent a lot of my paper route or minimum wages I earned when I was a kid. I probably would have spent hours here and been here all the time if this place was near me growing up. If you are into comic books and related collectibles, this place is an absolute gem.

But when I doubled back, I saw that I was in the corner of the entrance of the lot. I decided to park on the street to play it safe and then walked over to the store. I was excited to see soo many pops in one place, especially the ones that were rarer and more expensive. Their pop prices start at $10.00 for their common ones and goes up from there based on rarity, if it was exclusive to a convention or so and more. There were also mystery packs and pop protectors for sale as well. The pops were sorted by either movie, show or collection. The expensive ones were mostly placed in a glass case and the walls were just filled with shelves of these different pops. It felt like a museum to me as I looked at the different pops with little price tags placed on them if they were above the $10.00 price point. There were a few that cost below $10.00 or what they actually would be worth due to damages, wear or other things that would affect the price.Upstairs they had most of the common pops for $10.00. Both times I visited, I ended up getting some pops for my boyfriend and I hehe And I liked the fact that they throw in a pop protector when you check in. I think the downside of this company is when you try buying Mystery Boxes online. They were selling some over the weekend and released them online at noon, but I had no luck the first two days and then gave up on the third day. I guess I would try next time, but those bots and technical difficulties on my end are killer...

The price was just right and is way cheaper compare to Amazon. In addition, they have a small second floor and that is where you can find the commons funko pop. I suggest you bring cash because when I payed with cash they did not tax's me. You just pay the flat price of what did you get.

One of the employees who helped me was very, very rude. He disrespected my personal collection, consistently interrupted my friend whenever he spoke, and even made fun of the cards I was buying from the shops own inventory. While making a trade, I'd informed him the binder he was looking at was my personal collection, which he simply said "I don't care," and proceeded to look. The entire experience felt very hostile, and is the one to make me realize I need to fight more if I want to feel satisfied in this hobby. I'm sure my discomfort was written on my face, and I'd tried to chop up this employees behavior to dry or sarcastic humor, but it got to a point where it was simply straight up disrespectful. That said, I can appreciate the shops stocking and overall organization. It's nicely constructed on the inside, but that employee really needs to understand how to have pleasant conversations with CUSTOMERS.

There happened to be a blackout in the area, but the owner handled it really well and gave everyone several options: take the prerelease kits without playing, get a refund, come back the following week, or play with the lights off. We ended up playing in the dark, and honestly, it was still a really fun and memorable experience. The store is located in a plaza in Montclair with plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Walking in, it feels more like a boutique than a typical card shop. The floors were spotless, the walls looked freshly painted, and the lighting (when on!) was bright and inviting. It didn't have that cluttered, messy feel you sometimes see in game stores--no piles of empty boxes or disorganization. Everything felt clean, intentional, and premium. Even the restroom was very well maintained. It's clear the owner put a lot of effort into the layout and overall atmosphere. There's a front area with great natural light and a larger back area with plenty of tables for events. The event itself was run very professionally. They had no trouble reaching quorum thanks to an easy RSVP and online payment system. That system also made it simple to distribute store credit directly to your account, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. Start times and deck-building times were strictly enforced, which I appreciated. Everyone was on equal footing--no early access or advantages for regulars like I've seen at other shops. They used the official Magic Companion app to keep everything organized, and the owner actively checked in on players to make sure things were running smoothly. Prize support was solid, though slightly different from what I'm used to. The winner received a booster box, and everyone else earned $5 in store credit per match win. Personally, I'm more accustomed to booster packs for 2nd or 3rd place, but getting $15 in store credit for going 3-1 in a $30 event is still a pretty good value. Overall, this was a very well-run event and a great experience. Compared to other stores I've been to, the cleanliness, organization, and professionalism here really stand out. I'd definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking to play Magic events in a well-maintained, thoughtfully run environment.

Haha Also, their prices are reasonable and comparable to online prices. After we left this place, we hit up another spot in San dimas and the customer service there was kind of bad. We seemed like an inconvenience even though we bought 2 cards. Definitely recommend this place and you should def support smalls businesses.
