However, Fabian was EXTREMELY helpful and there was ZERO hostility or annoyance from him. I really appreciate FABIAN, he definitely went above and beyond to make this 21 year Verizon customer feel right at home. Some of his skills made me think that he needs to be the owner not just a worker. Either way I came out happy. Appreciate you Fabian!

I've been a Verizon customer for years and typically upgrade or purchase new devices online because…read morethe process is straightforward and delivered directly to my home. However, when my wife recently broke her phone, I noticed that a nearby Verizon store showed several iPhone 17 models in stock. Since I had the day free and the location was convenient, I decided to visit the store in person to get the device the same day. While the employee I worked with was polite and not pushy, I explicitly declined all forms of device insurance or protection plans multiple times during the transaction, as we already have AppleCare+. Despite my clear refusal, insurance was added to our lines without my knowledge or consent. I only discovered the unauthorized charges -- totaling over $60 this month alone -- when reviewing my latest bill. Had I not caught it, I could have been paying for a service I never agreed to and would never use, potentially for months or years. This kind of practice -- adding features behind a customer's back -- is deceptive and erodes trust. It's particularly disappointing from a company like Verizon that markets itself as customer-focused. I shouldn't have to scrutinize every line item on my bill to ensure I'm not being charged for services I explicitly declined. Verizon needs to hold its employees and authorized retailers to a higher standard. Practices like this are not only unethical -- they border on fraudulent. I will be contacting customer care to have the charges removed and refunded, and I strongly urge anyone visiting a Verizon store to double-check their receipt and first bill afterward. For anyone considering an in-store purchase: proceed with extreme caution and verify everything before leaving.

Signing up for Verizon has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I know this is going to…read moresound like an exaggeration because it's so insane, but I swear this is how atrocious my experience has been. I signed up with Danny, who was extremely personable. I thought he was great. Until I walked out the door and realized this wasn't even a legit Verizon store! It's an authorized retailer. All of the reviews talking about being scammed definitely concerned me, but I was hopeful I got a good guy and was not going to experience the issues others had. HOLY was I wrong! First of, I did not sign a single thing when I signed up. Another rep at a different Verizon store told me that was highly unusual and not protocol, no kidding. I was told my plan would include more GB of data than it did. I was told I would be paying less than I was charged. I have been overcharged numerous times for various things. I have had to spend hours on the phone every single week to get these constant issues resolved. It's been exhausting and extremely mentally draining. I had to return the phone I got from Verizon because it was malfunctioning. I returned it within 30 days, but the device agreement was not properly removed from my account, so I was still being charged for the device every month. I had go back into the store to get them to properly from the device from my account, and spend hours more on the phone with customer support to get a credit for the bogus device charges. My service with Verizon has been sub-par, to say the least. I thought I was gonna get the best of the best with Verizon, but the same issues persist. I've tried every carrier in the area and they all suck out here, Verizon is no different. I ended up leaving Verizon recently and switched to MetroPCS. Amazing customer service with them so far, and it's much cheaper. And there isn't gonna be any funny stuff going on with my bill since it's prepaid. I HIGHLY discourage anyone from signing up with Verizon, at all, anywhere. But especially this store. They will absolutely lie to your face, and you will end up having to spend hours of your time trying to resolve issues with Verizon customer support because of the mistakes they make. Billing issues cannot be resolved in ANY Verizon store fyi, how ridiculous is that? And their customer support WILL hang up on you. There's a reason by Verizon has lost over 50k customers in the second quarter of this year. They are not what they used to be. Stay away.

Erick was super helpful and informative. Thanks again! Your time was greatly appreciated.read more

I have been a T-Mobile customer for over 21 years. A few days ago, I went into the store to upgrade…read moremy phone. The representative assisting me scanned my ID, completed the transaction, and sold me the new phone without any issues. I was also told I could keep my old phone for up to 30 days to make sure everything transferred and worked properly. Today, I returned to the store to trade in the old phone. This time, the representative told me they could not accept it because the name on my ID did not exactly match the name on the account. I go by an abbreviated version of my full name, and this was the exact same ID that was accepted just days earlier when I purchased the new phone. The store employees then instructed me to update the name through the T-Life app. I attempted to do so multiple times, but it would not work. After that, they told me I needed to call customer service. I sat in the store on hold for more than 20 minutes without anyone answering. Frustrated, I eventually left. When I got home, I called customer service again. The representative I spoke with told me the store employees were incorrect and explained that the change had to be made in the store and that the employees in the store should have been able to make the change themselves by calling from the store's phone. Now I am being asked to return to the store again to deal with the same employees and resolve an issue that should have been handled properly the first time. Instead, I will be mailing the phone back. After more than two decades as a customer, this experience has been extremely disappointing. When it's time for my next upgrade, I will switch carriers.

First of all, I wanna say that I didn't have a bad experience. I wasn't looking to purchase a new…read morephone, I was looking for help with what I already had. That being said, my score of one star is not due to service, because the person who helped me was very helpful, he'd get three stars. The score is more for the store and supplies itself. I walked in here cause I was hoping to play with a newer Droid phone. Hubby just got me the iphone4 for Mother's Day, and because I came from the awesome Motorola Droid.... I wasn't sure after a few days that the iphone4 was a good fit for me. It really bothered me that my new phone didn't have a built in navigation system??!! Puzzling I know!! So I walked in hoping to play with other phones to compare with. I walk around, and I look at the phones a few feet away..... Then I realize that these are FAKE phones!! I hate that crap! I don't like that Best Buy is the same way either. What is the point in having a fake phone to look at, when it doesn't help anyone make a good decision. So needless to say, I was very disappointed. The young man who helped me was more then willing to pull out an actual phone for me to see, but I turned that down. After knowing what I felt was missing on my Iphone4, he showed me the Mapquest navigation app, so for now....I made up my mind to stick with my new cellphone, and I'm much happier. Another thing, the store is so darkly lit, not welcoming at all. I don't think I'll ever return to this store again. Especially after reading the first Yelp review for this Third Party Vendor. I was thinking of going over for a charger, but I'm afraid I'd just get screwed with that too!

Run in fear!!! I…read moreshould have guessed something was wrong when they tried to sell me a generic phone and I went in wanting a phone with a PDA. Then while we were in there doing all that contract work a lady came in and said that the phone they sold her was used. The owner said it can't be. She said there are photos of a nude man on the phone. He then agreed to replace the phone, in a few days. He needed to order one though it was the same model we were talked into buying. You think that I would learn.... Well after a hour and a half we had the phones we did not want and left. We charged the phones overnight and set about typing are number into the phones. My husbands phone had some one else's numbers in it. My phone started to loose batterie power with in the first hour. Then when I looked into the manual it did not match the phone all the buttons were wrong. We went back to the store and explained this to them. They said the phone did not leave the store the reason my husband had some ones phone numbers in it is that they transfered the numbers, then the sale did not go through. But they swore the phone never left the store. He then looked at the phone and pointed out that there were calls on it starting in December and going to February. They had no response to that but said the box is not marked. This is what the owner told the girl the night before! They said that they could replace my husbands in a few days and they said that they were replacing mine right then. After we left we found that I still had the same phone. I called verizon and they said they could not help then they explained that this was a third party store and they pointed out that the phones we did not want were available for free after rebate on their site. They also pointed out several plans that would save more money. In fact the customer service lady at Verizon said that we should cancel are contract. We went in to cancel the contract and they charged us a $100.00 restocking fee when the contract said $25.00 a phone. Note we had to use a magnifying glass to read the restocking fee. Well any way we will be filing small claims and are with out cell phones for 3 to 5 days while we wait for sprint to send us new ones. You don't think we would even use Verizon again. This is a hardship as I am a psycho therapist working hospice and patients can't reach me directly they now have to wait while my service locates me. There are a lot of people who will pay the price of this business greed. I will also need to get a new number and reprint my business documents. It is my opinion that this business does not care about it's consumers. Find someone who will be honest.
