I never write reviews, but the Geeks asked me to. Here is my story. I am not computer literate but I like to browse the web. Well, I got a Virus on my computer and out of commission. I took my notebook in for the "diagnostic" which they tell you let them check it out and they will get back to you. I got a call on my lunch, which was in an hour or a little more. They told me what they needed to do and then after they took off the virus they called me back and made suggestions on what my computer needed form there. I got 2 of the 3 they suggested only because I am fine with the memory speed of when I use my computer. Geeksrus did what they had to do and I got my computer back in a DAY!! Now, last time I had a virus removal issue I went to the other guys (which they asked me not to mention to not create confusion) and they had my computer for 2 days. I had to call them to get updates on my computers status and was very frustrating and yet I still had to pay over $200! Very professional, caring and courteous at Geeks R Us! Well the Geeks over here has won my business and my referrals. These guys and lady are genuine and helpful. I hope I have done my job on this yelp review. I hope this helps someone choose these guys. If you like fair pricing, quality service, and honesty, Geeks R Us is the place for you. I have had both workplace and personal home computers setup and repaired for both myself, family members, and co-workers. I have probably used their services 8-10 times and I have never been disappointed for any reason whatsoever. In several instances they have corrected my issue while I waited. They are conveniently located near the Sizzler and Vista Paint in Corona - just off of Magnolia. I have dealt with some of the larger mega stores and independent repair facilities over the years, and those experiences were horrible, overpriced, and still didn't really solve my problem. What a great business. I ended up having a very silly issue with my computer and me not knowing anything about computers it would have been very easy to take advantage of me. Martin was very honest with me and did not upcharge when he very easily could have. I had my computer back less than 24 hours later. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. Very helpful. My laptop was not booting and I first took it to geek squad at best buy. They did a two min test and told me it was not a hard drive issue but a software issue that would cost me $200. I took it to Mike at Geeks r Us and he ran a thorough test and it was a bad hard drive. Something that my warranty should have covered. Geeks r Us saved me some money, found what was really wrong with my computer and was even able to save some important data i needed. read more

FOR $65 he turns the laptop over pulls the back off (screws already removed BTW) looks at the port. Which needs to be soldered back on.
