Absolutely terrible service. My elder parents arrived to turn their phones back in because they canceled service with Verizon. They were lied to from day one (2023) about how the contract was set up. They were registered as a business account and they don't own a business. The sales guy said to just make something up. Last week they were in Verizon with a question on their service plan and a question as to how to turn the ringer off on their phones while in church. . The staff was incredibly rude and not helpful. They would not even show them how to turn the ringer off on their phone. They canceled their service with Verizon that day with online Verizon support and went with AT&T. Today they went back in at 2 PM to turn their phones back in because Verizon customer service said that that's what they needed to do. When they arrive, the staff was very rude. My father asked for a business card and they said they didn't have one. He asked for their names and not one of the four staff members working would provide their name. I came to get my bill fixed after another verizon shop made a mistake on my bill. I found the check in guy, Walter who claimed to be the manager, to be very unwilling to help. As soon as I told Walter that I had an issue with my bill, his demeanor reflected one of impatience and frustration. I was told that I have to go back to the other shop on McKinley to anything about my issue as they were the ones who made the mistake in the first place. I asked to see someone anyway to see what my options would be so I could save myself a trip but Walter was very unwilling to add me to the waitlist. I had to ask to speak to someone else before he finally added me to the waitlist. Since, as Walter insisted, your bill is tied to the specific shop that you begin with, I highly recommend avoiding this shop as the managers' rude and unhelpful attitude are reflective of the culture fostered by this specific shop. I now understand why this shop has 2.5 stars. The employees that assisted me were more helpful as they were able to help me understand the issue within minutes. However, the manager sets the tone for the entire store and must take accountability. 1 star. read more

I've been standing outside the store for about 20 minutes already. Upon arrival, was greeted by "security" who said the store was closed and door was locked. I informed him I was just picking up an order in the lockers and did not need any customer assistance. Security said they're "understaffed" and to wait for a customer to open the door. WTF. The employees are currently in the store helping other customers and trying NOT to give me any eye contact as I attempted to wave to get their attention. THIS SUCKS. Update: At around 745, a customer finished and the employee (heavy set girl with long hair and glasses) had to unlock the door to let him out. I went right in and told her I was picking up my order in the locker, and was out of there in a minute. She said some BS rule about not allowing anyone into the store and staffing, but she should have at least given me the COMMON COURTESY to go to the door and ACKNOWLEDGE A WAITING CUSTOMER and let me know that I would have to wait despite not even needing employee assistance. She (actually both employees working) was fully aware I was there and waiting because another customer had seen me and I motioned to her that I was going to the locker & she in turn told the Verizon employee. I will try to keep this brief, but it could be a limited series on Netflix. First, I wish there was a "0" rating, but "1" is the lowest. I have been a loyal Verizon customer and had a business account for over 30-years. We finally decided to get rid of our hard wired wi-fi router and go with a 5G device. I went to my Corona Verizon store and (Frank) provided me the router. I have always had unlimited data on all my devices. After the first month with the new router, I received my monthly statement and was surprised to see $1500 in data charges. I went back to the store to show them the bill when they realized they gave me a 4G router, not a 5G. They apologized and switched me out to the correct router. When I asked the store manager (Fabian) about the charge he said to just call customer service, and they would take care of it. Customer Service (based somewhere in Asia) told me they would handle it on four different occasions. I started receiving threat notices from the Business Financial department. I started calling them and had as many as five conversations with their representatives, all telling me it was being handled. I told them I was getting "past due" text notices from Verizon. Not to worry, they said, it was in process. I trusted them at their word (Gail, Sera, etc.). Then on Monday, January 20th, they shut off my service. No warning, no phone call from them, and we were amid Santa Ana winds and out of control L.A. wildfires. No way to communicate with our daughter who just days before was under mandatory evacuation orders from Hollywood. We immediately went to AT&T and switched over all of our Verizon accounts. The staff member I dealt with was unprofessional & disrespectful, not to mention, sarcastic. Felt like, he is being forced to deal with me. This review is for this as well as the Mira Loma store. We received completely contradictory information from both sales people at each store. We were first told that we qualified for $1100 trade in for each phone but the new iPhone was out of stock. So either ship it to us or drive to Corona to pick them up. No offer to call ahead didn't even want to text us the address. We decided to hold off. Went to this store a day or two later. After waiting for 30+ minutes we were told they had the new phones (but no older models whatsoever) but our phones were worth nothing as trade in (promotion). He then stated we could not pay for the new phones but had to put them on the service plan. Spent the rest of the time dodging giving straight answers and encouraging us to go to Best Buy or the Apple Store. Challenging to get straight answers from either rep. Not sure when Verizon decided to copy car dealerships in their sales practices and/or act like they're the only game in town. UPDATE: Just on the phone with Verizon customer service we ARE eligible for the promotions similar to the above, and can pay for the balance of the phones even though the rep at the Corona store told us we weren't and couldn't. read more

Bought my daughter a phone from Verizon online for her sweet 16. Paid all the extra to have delivered by 1/5/24. When I checked tracking it showed would not arrive till 1/8/24 . 2 day shipping somehow turns into 6 days so of course I cancel so I can go buy a phone in store. I go into this Store today 1/6/24 I'm told it's not a long wait so I stay. Finally 1 hour later I'm helped. I tell the lady the situation and I just need to buy a phone, my daughter's party in a few hours. I'm told I cannot buy a phone till this other one is returned by ups ... a phone I've already paid $157 tax and ship on and haven't been refunded. This is fine I will pay again for new phone no big deal. But I still cannot purchase a phone until the other one I've paid for is returned . Why this one stuck in transit can't be moved to another line just so I can buy my daughter a phone is beyond me. Especially since it's on Verizon that I never received, a phone I paid for and paid extra for. The sales agent made no attempt to help me out. 20+ years with Verizon , basically 6 lines ... but nothing they can do or care to help with . I recommend finding a different store or buying online. But if you buy online DO NOT rely on the up charged shipping options. We were trying to make a payment one day early to lower the device payments from 4 to 3 . She told us NO. When do companies stop accepting payments early . Stopped at this Verizon store Monday, 4/3/23 late afternoon at (the Crossings) on a whim - In doing so, I inquired about getting a new phone case, my friend and I were directed to Lisa - (I believe her name was Lisa). She was very very knowledgeable and more than willing to assist both of us. She asked if we had the Verizon App then showed us how to navigate our way through to the accessories that were on sale. If I could give zero stars I would. Went in to get a new SIM card and wanted to see if I can upgrade my phone to the new iPhone. because of the outage my phone never went back to service. The gentleman that helped me, I believe it was Brian or Brandon, just came off really rude and rushed. He said I owed a balance I said ok but I don't understand why you can't set my phone up even if I had a payment plan, he said well than call customer service. I handed him my credit card and while he was charging me I was asking if the SIM card will be ok or is an eSIM card better since I know people who had the eSIM card and their phone didn't lose service during the outage, he cut me off even before I can explain my thought and said you getting the regular one it's a SIM card it's going to lose service and threw my card at me. I told him sir you never throw something back at the customer you are suppose to hand it back. He finished setting up my phone and I grabbed it walked to the other associate and asked where the nearest Verizon store is so I can talk about upgrading my phone. I bought a new phone with a trade-in value of $800. I was told I had 30 days to return. I was not informed of any consequences or losses i may receive if I made a return. Upon thinking about the new S24 that would be coming out I opted to return the new phone and wait for the S24. After being told several different messages by the in store rep and manager and the phone representative, overall I was out of my trade in and any value credit from my trade. I was refunded $57.86, which is not the full amount I paid. I expressed the lack of trust I have in Verizon now as their word and confidence in serving their customers does not seem like it is a priority. read more

We added 8 lines at the beginning of the month and now 3 weeks later we are STILL dealing with trying to remedy all the mistakes, misunderstandings--any issue that could have happened, HAPPENED. Mistakes with trade in values, not wanting to honor promotions, mistakes with transfers and port ins, literally everything that could have went wrong did. I have literally called and spoken with Verizon customer service in 3 weeks more than I've called family members or loved ones in A YEAR. I don't care how much you're paying at some other company, believe me when I say it is WORTH it, because you do NOT want to deal with Verizon. My fiancé was inside getting a new phone. They locked the doors 50 mins early before closing. I walk out to use the bathroom and once I came back they didn't allow me inside (mind you I'm pregnant). "The supposed" manager made me stand outside and wouldn't let me in even though I was already inside and my fiancé was inside with a sales rep. And literally made me stand outside 50 mins before closing time. Super insanely rude and once I asked her for a managers number above her she pretended she was the GM even though it only said sales manager on her name tag. Super horrible customer service. This is the second time we receive horrible service from this location. Please fire your "manager" because we are literally switching phone service after today. They need better attitudes. Two young men showed up at my door claiming to work for Verizon in Corona, California. They teased my dog and called it a weird name in front of me then asked unprofessionally if I wanted to change my internet plan from AT&T or spectrum to Verizon. I said no thank you, I'm not interested and closed my door. Once I closed the door they said, "chill, and said people be crazy". They continue to knock on my neighbors doors and my neighbors have children and the children open the door and the two young men laugh at the kid who opens the door and then shuts it on them. They go upstairs and all I hear is a loud bang and the two men walk off making rude comments such as everyone here is crazy and making fun of the kid's height. read more

Browsing through other reviews, it looks like this store has a history of providing customers with false information and fake promotions. Last month, my phone broke and I got tired of dealing with AT&T. I went into this store looking to port my number to Verizon. The sales person (Julie) recommended me the highest end 40GB hot spot phone plan. Then she referred me to a so called on promotion, free Samsung Galaxy S20 phone with a two-year contract. Since I never purchased a free-phone contract, I asked Julie quite a few questions. Along with the phone, she included phone gasket, screen seal, wireless charging stand on the quote list. Everything went well, but after I chose the 30GB hot spot phone plan, she appeared frustrated. And when I expressed I'd like to get wireless charging stand only, she was reluctant to remove phone gasket and screen seal off of the order, urging me that I should get those accessories. As I repeatedly saying no, her friendly manners completely went away. Then, the problem came. After I made the payment, the phone's monthly installment fee appeared on the receipt! I asked Julie why. She began to equivocate, talking in a sneaky way. Besides that, my Verizon account shows my phone plan has 15GB hot spot, instead of 30GB. I rushed to get myself another new phone and looked for another carrier, before the 14-day return period ran out, but a restocking fee. When I returned the hardware and closed out my account at the store, it was a new manager with a new crew. Just had the worst experience with the most unprofessional manager I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. Thanks Kyle "the manager" for your kind words of telling me to stop talking so you could state your sentence. Backstory: I went in a few days ago to purchase a hot spot for my home since I do not have cable available. I wanted a dedicated hotspot for my Xbox and the salesman named Kris sold me a product that he knew absolutely nothing about. Not even kidding. I called before going in asking about it, and he didn't even know the name of the model, but claimed it did everything that I asked about. I get it, he's a salesman trying to make commission, so of course he would agree with me and tell me things I want to hear like "this product will work better than the hotspot on your phone" so I buy from him. I don't really condone lying to make the sale, but to each their own. Once I used the product, it was clear that the connection wasn't nearly as good as the hotspot from my iPhone or iPad, so I decided to return it. This is where things go bad. I tell them what happened, and the manager (Kyle) tries to get involved. I tell him what happened and then they charge me a $50 restocking fee with something that was returned EXACTLY how I received it! I said, okay, I'll talk to corporate or whoever to see if I can get the restocking fee refunded because it's not fair that a salesman lied to me to sell a product that didn't work nearly as well as how he said it would. While I was explaining this, the manager told me to stop talking so that he could talk. Are you kidding me? Why would you ever tell a customer to stop talking? I'm explaining my story and he had the nerve to tell me to stop. Safe to say that I will not return to this location and I'm filing a complaint because that is just unacceptable. Any business knows not to tell a customer to stop talking, regardless of what that customer is purchasing. Went in to store 3/1/23. With a Perfectly Good working phone!! Should have let me know BEFORE I changed to a new phone that there was a problem with the Verizon system & my new phone may not be activated/working when I leave. This is my business phone for my service company & I rely on it for 100% of my business, when someone calls for emergency or service this phone is all I have to answer & run my business! When I left the store with both my new & old phones he said I could use my old phone until the glitch in the system was solved & it would switch over to the new phone automatically THAT WAS A LIE!! My old phone worked only for about a 1/2 hour then when my wife called our 800 # we just got a recording this # is no longer in service. that was the message anyone who called in that 18-24 hour span received. I drove back to the store immediately & asked to turn back on my old phone they said there was nothing they could do (I CAME IN WITH A PERFECTLY GOOD WORKING BUSINESS PHONE & LEFT WITH MY BUSINESS BEING SHUT DOWN!!) I would NEVER have changed phones if someone would have been forthcoming with me & let me know there was a problem, I would have come back another day!..PS..He also sold me a power adaptor said I would have to have that because the phones have changed & will not accept old adaptors ANOTHER LIE this new phone plugs right in & charges with my old charger. Absolutely did not need to spend additional $24 plus they now charge an additional $29.95 to transfer old data on to new phone...That used to be free all they do is connect them together leave & come back in an hour & DONE!! Verizon at corona crossing is always the worst. Ineptitude and laziness. I went there at 6 pm on Saturday 2/26/22 to pick up a phone that I purchased thru Verizon.com. The store was supposed to be open to 7pm. When I arrived there were 5 people in the store and the security guard talking and laughing but the door was locked I repeatedly knocked on the door until one of the employees finally acknowledged me and came over and opened the door. I told him that I had a store pick up of I purchase I already made. He told me they were closed due to lack of staffing and had been since 5pm. I asked if they were lacking staff why did they have 5 employees just sitting in the locked store. He said that was none of my business and they all started laughing and he locked the door again.
