I have known Reza for many years when I owned and operated my Auto Repair shop for 19 years. I recently became a licensed Auto Dealer but had no idea how to complete the lengthy and complicated sales paperwork! Reza is a great owner. He straight talks with you and let's you know exactly what you're buying. I just bought a 2002 BMW 325xi wagon from him after getting a Pre-Purchase Inspection done by Marco-Polo BMW in La Jolla (see my review for them as well). I had a few issues with the car and Reza agreed to fix them and offered a warranty on one of the issues that bothered me the most. BMWs have certain issues that are fairly common and only people that know BMWs know these particular issues because they've had to do it before! Reza was up front about the condition and what had/hadn't been done that he KNEW about. After the PPI was done, there weren't any surprises and Marco himself said it was in really great condition. A lot of people think used car salesmen are always trying to fool them or fluff up the condition of the car. Anything I saw wrong they looked at it right then and there, no questions asked. It was almost like having a mechanic right there with you. The deal was much better than any comparable wagon I was looking at. I only test drove two cars, but I looked at 5 in person and was looking for MONTHS online. I didn't negotiate price at all because it was literally a great deal already. I will not hesitate to do business here again and I told him I'd be back as soon as it's time to get my girlfriend newer car. He understands professionalism, Karma and making buyers repeat customers. If you read my other reviews, those are the most important factors in a good business. Also, when I was there, a guy pulled up in a nice newer luxury car to talk to Reza about a car he was looking for. This is an overdue review (just started using Yelp :P). Reza was very helpful and friendly! Long story short I bought my first car (2002 Camry) about 2 years ago from this shop, and have been very happy about my experience. Background: college sophomore, just got her license, buying a car completely on her own. As someone who knows nothing about cars other than the basic research and reading online, and some suggestions and recommendations from friends and family, buying a car was a very taunting task for me. I knew I wanted a Japanese used car and had an idea about my budget, and searched on autofinder(I think that's the website??) and spotted a 02 camry from this shop. So I reached out the Reza and arranged a meet up, the car was fine based on the inspection I conducted following online procedures (thank you youtube), but the price as a bit high compare what I saw on KBB. I came home and ended up negotiating the price with Reza, who was very nice and reasonable and friendly throughout this whole experience. (Shout out to my friend Issac: thank you for accompanying too throughout this process~) Before I made up my mind, I took the car to a nearby shop to get a pre-purchase inspection (super nice, friendly shop too, must try and remember their name so I can leave a positive review for them....). The inspection went well, the car was fine, and I am tired of running around looking for cars, Reza seems nice and trustworthy, the reviews were good, so I made up my mind! Deal! Reza is a very pleasant change from the folks you usually find selling cars, both new and used. He is very straight forward and extremely accommodating. I came in on a Saturday and my mechanic was not available to do a pre-purchase check so Reza extended the return period so I could take the car over the weekend and have it checked on Monday. I was looking for a BMW SUV because a friend of mine has an older model which he has had very good luck with, turns out my friend bought his car from Reza 10 years ago ! I should have written this review long ago, but better late than never. About 3.5 years ago I was the in the market for an Infiniti G35 6MT and found one on craigslist through Mirage Auto. The price was lower than most private sales and the mileage was extremely low, so I was skeptical. When I called, they said someone had already committed to buy it but was waiting on financing, so I continued looking. They later called back and told me that the guy's financing had fallen through and the car was available. I went over there and they were very helpful. The salesman, Reza, showed it to me and then gave me some time to look it over without hassling me. We took it out on a test drive and I loved it. When we got back, I asked to take it to a dealer for their inspection and he offered to take the cost off my price if I bought it. I had Kearny Mesa Infiniti do their full inspection for about $120, during which they tried to sell me on the same cars at their place that were 5-7K higher in price. The inspection came out clean except for needing new drive belts eventually and the dealership told me I should buy it or they would at the price it was going for. When we got back to the dealership, Reza offered to knock off some money for the eventual drivebelt replacement. I asked if he knew when the last oil change was and since he didn't know, he knocked a bit more off the price to cover that. I decided to buy it and had my bank send payment. The one remaining detail was how to deal with my rental car. Reza offered to drive my new car down to the airport so I could drop off my rental car and not have to deal with the hassle of returning it. Reza does not fit the usual shady, untrustworthy, vulture-like mold that car dealers are made out of. My husband found Reza's posting for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter on Craigslist and after speaking with him on the phone we decided to check it out. We were welcomed with the most friendly and knowledgeable salesman. He owns a nice but quaint dealership which specializes in used European made cars. We checked out the car and found it to be in such great shape we were sold...and he even offered to gas it up and detail it for us. We purchased it for our restaurant and don't regret doing so, such a wise investment. We get compliments on the vehicle all the time. Do not buy a car from this place, they sold me a lemon. Only gave me two days to bring back the truck, on the 8th day started having problems took it to a ford dealer they found all kinds of problems. The guy at Mirage told me to bring it back to him they had it for three days claimed he fixed the one of the issues (not all of the problems) now its not running have not even had it back for a week!! Oh ya the guys at ford told me that there was no way they could not have known about all the issues that the truck has!!! I am going to have the truck fixed and sue for the cost of repair. So I waited a few days till after I bought my truck from Reza to post it. I'm glad I did. Before I get started, if you are looking for a man who truly cares about giving you a good deal and taking care of you, look no further. I bought my 2007 F250 from Reza a few days ago. It was a quick process and I got a great deal overall, even being upside down on my trade in. But this isn't why you should buy from Reza. Yesterday while driving, my truck randomly died and wouldn't start. I called Reza and he set up a tow and I just received the truck back today good as new. Turns out a wire got sucked into the fan and grounded out a cam sensor so thankfully it wasn't very serious. Reza took care of me like I've never been taken care of before after purchasing a vehicle. The man stands behind his sale. Everything that happened was covered and I didn't pay anything. He also sells his vehicles with a 3 month 3000 mile power train warranty in case anything happens. I rarely write reviews, but in this case, Reza at Mirage Auto Sales earned this one. I rarely purchase cars. I don't like car salespeople. I was helping my daughter purchase a car, and our experience with Reza and his partner was very non-stressful. He encouraged us to take the car, drive it as much as we wanted, and take it to a mechanic we trust. He wanted to make sure "we knew more about the car than he did". I took it to my mechanic, who said all is good but those brake pads are getting low (just the rear ones). I mentioned that to Reza's partner (sorry I don't recall his name), not expecting much, since I'm not a good negotiator, and he said "We'll take care of it, and there will be a warranty on the brakes". At this point, I knew of a warranty on the drive train only. So I was disappointed, felt like I was being placated with non-truths. We came back later, and, lo and behold, they had installed new brake pads all around, and included a warranty for the brakes. Awesome! The deal was fair, and the car has been great. I have never bought a car remotely, but the salespeople at Mirage made it so logical and forthright for me. Reza, the owner had me contact the Local Ford Dealer and the car checked out fine. I got it shipped up to San Fran for a very inexpensive amount($300) and the car was in great condition...and I saved approximately 3k by buying it there compared to the other dealers here. I hate car salesmen. With a passion. I honestly can't believe I am writing a positive review, but this place deserves it! My husband and I were looking for a Jetta TDI. We went to several dealerships and left all of them frustrated. One tried to sell us a recently stolen car that just wasn't running right, the others weren't sure what all they actually had in stock etc etc etc. This is not a place I would have picked to look, but it had two said cars on the lot. The owner was not overbearing, was courteous, and friendly. We took the car out for a spin, negotiated the price and brought her home. Why the 5 star review? After we bought the car, we realized that she was missing her spare and tools. Without skipping a beat, the owner immediately put them in and apologized.... honestly, he didn't need to as we were buying it as is. Car came with a warranty which it hasn't needed since it runs like a new car. If we need another used vehicle, we will start here first. We came here on the first day of our "hunt" and I was sure I would regret the quick decision. Nothing has made me regret it, and I am thrilled with the purchase. reza is the most honest and straight forward car dealer i have ever known. I bought a ford diesel from him for a great price much lower than even private party sales. he got it from an auction. it had high miles and he suggested i get it looked at by a mechanic before i bought it. so i did and it checked out good except for some oil leaks and a rear diff that needed to be serviced. we made a deal where he would pay for the repairs and i bought it. he was able to get his diesel mechanic to fix it by the next day. 2 days later it would not start. i told reza and he did not hesitate to get that repaired as well. it turned out to be a IPR valve. even though i purchased the ford "as is" he told me he does not do business like that and made sure it was taken care of even if it was not his responsibility. He even told me if i ever had problems in the future god forbid he said we could work with each other to take care of it. what a great guy. read more

What a great independent car lot! This is the place to go if you want to deal with an amiable, friendly, and honest salesperson (and the prices aren't bad, either)! Reza's goal in life is to make sure his customers are happy. In fact, he allowed my husband and me to take an expensive car from his lot, overnight, with no paperwork or deposit, to test drive. He fully disclosed that the car had experienced a bit of a boo-boo (which had been nicely repaired), even though the Car Fax report showed nothing had happened to the car. Let me start with saying Thank You Reza! I have been shopping for an F250 or F350 since June and I have seen many for sale, but this is the only place that caught my eye. I actually went into look at a different truck Reza had on the lot not even knowing the truck I actually bought was even there. I have to say that Reza is a very open and personable person and does not try lie or sell you a lemon of a vehicle. He is definitely not the typical, sleezeball over eager, will sell what ever crap they can to make the sale, used car salesman. Reza was very honest in my dealings with him, he worked with me on the price to fit my needs and I am very satisfied with the service I received from him.
