Love the staff here. They're genuinely greeting you and you can tell. They've updated the menu with descriptions of the drinks which I mentioned as a suggestion. Helpful to cut the line down. It's been busy every time I've been but they are very efficient. There isn't WiFi (yet) but they said they'd work on it. I've worked here but on my own hot spot. It's obviously so cute, such a vibe inside, it's the speakeasy Toasted Coconut owns but Xela uses it during the day. I think it's seemingly working out really well and happy to have them in the neighborhood. Paper straws

I happened across Xela when looking for some coffee in the area and wow am I so happy I went! When you walk in there's an immediate chill, cool, eclectic vibe. Staff was incredibly friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. They have bar seating as well as a cozy seating area in the back, but I got my drink to go (kinda regretting not staying!). They made my drink so quickly I was slightly disappointed that I didn't have more of an excuse to look around! Xela truly just has such good energy, what an amazing place I stumbled upon. It shares a small parking lot with Nonno's and The Toasted Coconut but I got lucky with a spot right out front. Will be back very soon!!

I feel so bad giving a three star review here since the vibe of the place was super cool and everyone seemed very friendly at this establishment, but for coffee this is a bit of a skip for me. I ordered a cortado, and it just wasn't strong, tasted kind of watery, and also seemed like they used a darker roast that made the coffee taste burnt? I dont know. Maybe it was just an off day since the other reviews seem like they had a better experience, or maybe they just specialize in their signature drinks, but for me this was a no. Maybe they also gave me a milk alternative instead of whole milk? They didn't ask for my milk preference, but I do feel like most coffee spots default to regular milk if you dont specify, so i'm just confused. I'll have to revisit to see if maybe I just had a bad cup that day!

Was super excited to hear about this coffee shop near our house on TikTok! Absolutely loved up to the hype. Definitely on the busier and louder side, and had trouble finding outlets so wouldn't really recommend for studying. However, for just hanging out, the ambiance is electric. Loved our drinks as well!

Such a chill vibe inside. Really cool European coffee/alcohol bar vibe, which I love- something for everyone! Owner was working himself, preparing drinks, which I love to see. DEFINITELY crafted by hands with care. Takes a few minutes but oh so worth it. If you don't have the time to wait, there's a fridge full of premade coffees of some of their most popular options. Staff was patient with all customers, as there are some unique options on the menu. Will definitely be back!

One of the best coffee experiences I've had! Being largely unfamiliar with the menu, the gentleman who took our order was very descriptive in the coffees they offer and even provided recommendations based on the flavor profile we were looking for. The highlight of the conversation was how thoroughly he explained the differences of how they make their hot and iced coffees (and no, they don't just put ice in their coffee!). Their attention to detail, combined with the a beautiful space, easily makes them a coffee purveyor worth visiting.

The coffee was so good and the vibes even better! I love it here! I sat at the bar and watched their specialty coffees being made while the baristas told us about the drinks!

Visited with my sister to read our books and it was an amazing cafe find. The service is 10/10 and the coffee is amazing. You can tell they really care about what they are serving and how they are serving . I also appreciate the calming energy it is different than most cafes.

Everyone was so nice & helpful! The guy taking my order took the time to explain every drink on the menu and give recommendations. I ordered the Valley Girl (mexican vanilla), Stardust (cinnamon), and Baby Milo lattes and everything is great. The inside is decorated beautifully and service was fast.

We ordered the iced pistachio latte with almond milk and the sweet chocolate iced blend with almond milk and a shot of espresso. Both drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. I'm very delighted that I've found a coffee shop that has a pistachio drink that actually tastes like a pistachio! The customer service was fantastic, the restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, although not as spacious as many coffee shops it's still manageable, and we saw online that they offer monthly barista classes. When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

Served Iced) - I think their description of "fresh and crisp" was very accurate. I think the cinnamon complimented the matcha well. I wouldn't have thought to put apple cinnamon with matcha. It's feels like matcha meets autumn to me. It's fun I like it. - The Snapshot (A craft coffee float, with house made Esplanade coffee cola and custom black cherry ice cream from Cheaters Creamery. Served in house only and Iced.) - I was expecting something like an affogato when we ordered the drink for some reason but it definitely more of a coke float. They nailed it honestly. I didn't taste any coffee flavor in the few sips I had but my boyfriend said he was able to taste it. The drink comes with a fun Polaroid photo which is fun. Honestly a very unique retro summer vibe drink. - Breakfast Burrito - Honestly pretty decent. - Nutella Banana Bread - Unfortunately their oven was down so we couldn't get it toasted/warm but I think that would've been significantly better. It satisfied my craving. Definitely would consider coming back to try other fun seasonal drinks. In terms of seating, they have a large table in the front of the store, a few seats along the window that is more counter style, and a few tables in the back. From what I saw it looks like they had a decent amount of outlets and USB plugs available. Parking lot is pretty small though. They share a parking lot with a pottery studio and a little clothing store (that's also connected to the coffee shop). Not sure what the street parking situation is. We've come a couple times and would decide to go in or not based on the parking situation.

It almost didn't taste like coffee to me since it had a strong fruity taste with a citrusy cold foam on top, which made it a sweet treat for the summer. The Chantilly was creamy and sweet --it's a cold brew with cognac cream and black lava salt. They had lots of tables indoors for seating, although it does get crowded during peak hours.
