Second time this week - 2 boom trucks dispatched to "clear an alarm"!
    Maxx M.

Here's my latest bad experience with the incompetent idiots at Comcast Xfinity... I'm so angry with this corporation that I "unplugged" and turned my cable box into this Brooklyn Park location. I now only have Comcast Xfinity for internet - which still sets me back over 90 bucks a month! I'd cancel the internet too if I had a good option to replace them. For the second time this week, Comcast dispatched 2 large boom trucks to "wait for an alarm to clear" on the curb at my property. Boom trucks for alarms? Isn't that kind of expensive? Couldn't they just send one guy in a Toyota Prius or something? (I guess a billion dollar company can send fleets of Bentleys to respond to alarms if they want to.) Since one of the dudes was parked directly in front of my house (again), I asked him if he needed to get into the service box. The guy said, "I might." (He clearly couldn't be bothered with talking to me.) Since the big green box straddles the property line, I had the fence company build a custom (expensive) fence panel that lifts out for easy access. I did this just to make things easy for Comcast. Anyway, I asked him to let me know if he needed access to the box and I'd lift out the panel for him. Half an hour later I peeked outside to see what was going on. The guy was taking apart my fence panel using a screw driver! He never came to get me. And he never lifted the panel out (as designed). I stormed outside, stopped him, took videos, and popped the panel out with my hammer (he didn't have a hammer). His "boss" told him they were going to just move the box. So he waited for another employee to bring him a shovel. I offered him a shovel but he declined. In summary: 1) Two (2) boom trucks dispatched to clear one alarm? 2) Worker was too dumb to come and get me? 3) Taking apart a fence with a screw driver? 4) A boom truck with no hammer? 5) A boom truck with no shovel? 6) Day 3 - no progress? (Cones still up, still haven't moved the box, fence still open.) I can't believe that a multi-BILLION dollar company is so incompetent and hated. This is what you get when you have a monopoly. I know you don't care about me, Comcast Xfinity, but you can have my cable box back at your Brooklyn Park store! -Daddy Maxx Retro

This is August and already this is the 4 day this year where we haven't had internet for whole 24 hours. Outages impact whole apartment complexes and not just 1 home. With Covid and WFH, this wasn't expected. I would pay a few $ more for more reliable connection.

I had been using them for almost 5 years and then one day I got a complaint that said I was "attacking other computers". Now I am a computer and programmer but I am also highly ethical about it and find hacking for malicious purposes utterly reprehensible. So after the accusation I searched my network top to bottom, checked for malicious programming, rootkits, Trojans whatever and found nothing. So I thought nothing of it but I became suspicious about it. Then I started using a vpn and I got another complaint, this was a dmca. I thought this odd that they were able to tie a dmca to my ip when I am using a vpn and not downloading things. So I went on, tightened security, checked all computers and did a reformat of every computer well then I got another apparently. They did not notify me, they just cut my service off at home. The first communication from them was that they cut off my service after I was forced to contact them. They said I had to call in to talk to them. Next they locked my account so I could not remove my credit card number so they could continue to charge my cc while not giving me service. So then I called in angry. The first guy said I had to talk to customer service and he would put me on hold and transfer. 30 minutes later no one so I hung up. Called in again, this time the phones are unable to transfer me but someone would call back....they never did. Then I called in later, this time they cut me off because I went to a website they did not approve of so they cut me off and I was supposed to get called back and again they did not...and still they have no problem charging my credit card. Even worse now, they have changed their story 5 times about why they cut off my service. They will not give me service nor will they give me my money back nor will they stop charging my credit card so yeah...crap A or crap B!
