They have offered discounts I've never received, every time I try to resolve an issue I've been met with issue after issue and then when the employees feel it's necessary they will harass me by sending codes to my phones. I ordered xfinity a month ago. Every single interaction with employees, many in overseas call center whom I could barely understand, has been atrocious. If I could give them a lower score I would. Promises made, promises broken. Rated quoted, rates increased with no justification, poor billing practices that can negatively impact your credit rating, and after less than a month I replaced them with another provider. Lastly, when I returned my equipment the manager had his pronouns proudly displayed on he/him/his badge. Never do business with Xfinity. Worst service ever! read more

Made an appointment to get internet on 02/25/26, no one asked about appointments. I waited for twenty minutes to see someone and what does this dude do try to get me the highest 1000mbs for over approximately $150, I told him too much what is the lowest he said 500mbs for approximately $110. I asked if there was anything lower I was told no, which i knew was a lie because i looked up deals at home but couldn't connect to Xfinity. So again looked up on my phone for xfinity deals and what do you know i found 300mbs and I was told that would be $80/90 still to high. I saw a deal for 300mbs and switching their phone service for $40 (5 year guarantee for just internet and phone a year). Good deal right until I had to come back today for my "free" phone. Didn't make an appointment but gave my name there were like 5 people ahead of me. When an Asian woman walks in doesn't give her name, but she does after she sees someone else doing it. Then she walks around and snags the first sales person available but does he ask whose next no. I'm on the phone and mentioned it out loud and some sales person asked me what I needed i first told him about the Asian women he ignored that, I told him I was here to see the salesman who helped me yesterday. I got someone else who is new again I complained and he apologized. So make this quick/short I didn't get my "free" new phone because I didn't get approved. WTH!!? I was told I could reapply in 6 months and we had to use my current phone, but couldn't do that because my phone was locked. I told him that I would gave to come back but not this store. Canyon at the Southgate location We are in our 60's, maybe he felt he could get away with it... Stopped by the Southgate store this evening and spoke with Canyon (cust, service rep.) about an international trip that is in our future. He told us about a $10.00 a day plan per phone. I informed him that that is not what we wanted, we want a pay as you go plan as I say on their web site with additional cost only when we text, call or use data. He informed me that it would work automatically and that we needed to do nothing extra. On our way home we received an email stating that the $10.00 a day plan had been added to our phones (aprox. $600.00). I checked online to see if there may be a mistake but sure enough Canyon set us up for the extra charge. Be careful, Canyon is the lying type of salesperson that we need to watch out for. read more

We have had there security system for more than 3 yrs. They are now telling us it's mandatory to have cameras installed around our home. No thank you. We have a ring door bell and motion sensor lights in the front, back and sides. If I wanted cameras I would have installed them a long time ago. Poor customer service. We have canceled the security system with Xfinity and contracted with another. As soon as our internet contract is up, we are shopping for another. Xfinty customer service on the phone is the worst. I wanted to speak to a real person about my bill, because we've had so many service interruptions over the last 6 months. Our internet was fine the first three years we lived here with minimal interruptions and now it's everyday almost we get booted off the internet randomly. Five or six days we were booted off for more than 2 hours or more. I have my first class tonight and don't know if I'll have internet for class tonight. Also their automated system doesn't let me discuss anything with a live agent. It said they couldn't help me until service is restored. If I could have voted with a 0 or -10 I would. I was a Gold member, paid my bills on time, with them for years with both mobile & internet. Before I called to cancel, I called to get suggestions on a hot spot for traveling in an RV; the female had me on the phone for one hour & continuously put me on long holds ( " researching best option ") well she thought she had put me on hold for the 3rd time but I could hear laughing/making jokes and if you've ever seen Fargo you know she was not researching. I cancelled my service the next day, called to get a required PIN to transfer MY phone. Turns out I could not use the Apple phone, I had purchased through Xfinity because they refused to unlock the phone, they no longer accept your calls, forcing you to go into a store where the staff " don't know what to tell you ". They don't have phones in the store to call Xfinity, when you have no phone/service to get answers on why your phone is not transferable any longer.My new carrier tried calling with their personal cell ( thank you! T-Mobile) and Xfinity continued to drop the call. So imagine the most revengeful X ever, no matter how great you invested into the relationship; you will be screwed during and most definitely when you leave.Just as a bad Ex can have you doubting mankind, Xfinity put so much doubt in humankind & the service they offer. Prices are CONSTANTLY fluctuation without changing services. You might get a $35 charge or you might get a $60 charge. The service is down at least once a month too. The customer service is absolutely no help either. I switched to CenturyLink and haven't had any issues. CenturyLink is far better without the fluctuating prices and outages. read more

I was blown away by the customer services at Xfinity. I initially called to set up WiFi at my new place and had an ok phone experience. When I went to the store to pick up my router, Jesse went above and beyond. He upgraded my WiFi plan I had arranged over the phone, set me up with a new phone plan and saved me so much money! He got me a fantastic router and helped me every step of the way. So far my WiFi and new phone plan are working flawlessly. read more

I highly recommend you do NOT work with Xfinity ever. They have No issues increasing their cost at will but as soon as you cancel they can't seem to get anything right. Canceled all but my internet services back in July, they're still billing me for all the services that were cancelled. Repeated calls and all they say is oh sorry we see you're only supposed to be paying $81- but keep charging me $250!!! If I owed them 10 cents they'd be all over it but them charging me 3x what I owe suddenly they're complete morons with how to get that fixed Avoid at all cost because in the end it will cost you!! PS I'd cancel my internet but am stuck in a contract which is why I only downgraded at this time. I will cancel that as soon as I can. Since I am forced to give it 1 star, I will say their people are nice. Worst service I have ever had. Since signing up they have charged us in excess and incorrectly every month so I canceled the service and was issued a refund. Then the next month they recharged the amount they refunded and said it was overdue. Then I disputed it and was refunded again. Then I was charged AGAIN. So I reported it to my bank and after they investigated I was issued a refund. Now the company has sent it to collections and I'm being harassed daily by collectors for a bill that Comcast owes me money for. the Xfi complete service is not worth it!! you pay the money and expect to get an Xfi pod based on the size of your house (Xfinity recommends grater than 2000sq feet on their website) my house is 7000sq ft and I have connectivity issues and they refuse to give a Xfi pod which is in their advertising! so frustrating. I can't even watch a movie in my master bedroom on my iPad the signal is so bad. their own app shows several of my connected devices with a poor or fair signal all the time. incredibly poor advertising/marketing and a rip off. read more

Who wants to pay more than $2,000 a year for cable and fast internet, only to have the internet not work for a week, with no communication about what the problem is and when they'll have it fixed? Just "Hey, we didn't get it done today, so we'll be back tomorrow .... Ooops. We didn't get it done that day either, so we'll be back Monday .... Everything's great!" I have actually experienced very inconsistent, sloppy and overall negligent service. First, I have to say "no" to an automated service about 10 - quite literally - times before I am transferred to an agent. Then, I get an agent that has a quote of $82.16 total for the additional line service (in addition to internet). This phone call, two days ago, was after my initial inquiry on this past Saturday. That person had quoted $103 total/mo. There, I responded "no thank you". Now, I was told by the second person (two days ago) that I was good to go with the additional land line would be active in 24 hours vs her initial thoughts or quote of 72 hours. 48 hours later, I'm experiencing issues with the internet and the phone isn't working. Well, they run a diagnostic on my modem, fix the internet problem. Then the phone needs to be addressed, turns out that my current modem isn't compatible for land line service. Then I ask about retrieving the free modem I was offered last year. She says I can go pick up from my local store and it would be one of two options (modem models). Then, I go in and this kid who assisted me quite insincerely, looks at his screen and says it will be $15/mo extra on top of current $103 bill. Excuse me? I was not quoted $103/mo. the most recent quote was $82.16. I'm going to have to record my future phone calls with Xfinity I see now bec I have spent way too much of my personal time on addressing this landline, modem situation. I inquire about a manager. Apparently, there's no such thing in this store. Management does not exist. And now, zero accountability. It's atrocious the customer service and quite honestly, the only reason a place like this could remain in business is because it's a corporate giant and does not care about some people like myself since it's not overall hurting your bottom line.
