I went to the store in Colorado Springs at Southgate. The woman, who I assume to be the manager, was rude right off the bat. She seemed to be training a new person, to whom she was very rude to also. We asked about a $25 plan, to which she snidely doesn't exist... and when the person I brought with me said she just signed up for it, the woman argued with us. Until the trainee looked it up, and she back tracked, saying "well everyone's internet use is different, just because she pays $25 doesn't mean you will." I told her I wanted the cheapest one, which she finally allowed (had I not had someone there, she would have lied the entire time). The trainee asked me to verify something on the screen and asked me to walk around to see it, so I did. Then manager lady rushes over and scolds me because I am not allowed to look at the screen... finally it comes time to pay and they ask if I want to give a card or a bank account so I hand them my card. They charge me the $35 dollar plan... When I asked why it wasn't $25, they said because I didn't use a bank account, which, had they told me that was part of it, I would have. The Manager said they didn't tell me because I "probably didn't have my bank account information on me." Which I did. The whole thing was ridiculous. What a mistake will never go in again the customer service was so bad you are far better off just calling if at all possible. I was quoted multiple different prices for Internet & Mobile combo. Then when I called to get it straightened out, the rep told me he got me a better rate, because of bundling. It included TV, which I told them I didn't need. Then when I looked at the service cost, it was more $$ than the previous Internet and Mobile. I told them I wasn't moving in to the new apartment till May 5th, they went ahead and shipped the modem to that apartment while someone else was living there. Got a "delivered" email and so I called them and told them to send it back. They did, then they re-shipped it again. Got another deliver notification several weeks before I was moving in.... Talked to a rep for 30+ minutes and he said he'd get it fixed. Literally next day got the "Delivered" notification again. Idiots!!! Finally called again and they told me just to go into an Xfinity Store when I move in, and pickup the Modem. So, I did. Told the guy at the store about my account info... he gave me a modem. Went home to connect. Spent 3 Hours over the phone, because they "couldn't find my account," "Couldn't match the modem to the plan." etc... Meanwhile, they were shipping my new phone for the mobile plan. The $hitshow that followed in trying to get that phone activated and the old provider transferred was again another 2-3 hour call. Then they told me to drop off my old phone at the Xfinity store for the credit, and when I did, the person at the store says, "we don't take those." Also, she proceeded to tell me that they don't show my account as being activated for phone. That I'd have to activate it in store, as well, as by the phone, because otherwise my mobile services aren't "fully activated." I've never encountered such incompetency. Misinformation, poor quality internet. I have the 300Mbs plan, which should be faster than my previous 200Mbs plan, yet my internet is intermittently in flux, incredibly low speeds and even disconnecting my work in the middle of important meetings. Xfinity is absolutely garbage. Their app has errors, their website is NOT helpful in the account settings. The reps are incapable of understanding how to do their job correctly. Store reps say 1 thing, phone reps say the opposite. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, as they don't take notes on what they do with you while on the phone. awful. I switched to my own modem to save money. I'm on modem #3 ... bad advice from one of the agents as to which one to purchase, although it worked with just the computer, not wireless . Now I'm on the correct modem and after an agonizing hour with a phone tech it won't work. please note this is about 6 hours of phone techs so far. Now, even the previous modem won't work. Xfinity will call with higher level support ... they will do anything to avoid getting a tech out to your house. I'm exhausted and wish my area had an alternate solution. My family had xfinity for about 6 years, their internet was good, but extremely overpriced. Recently, my mother passed away and so I was trying to cancel her landline that she had with xfinity. I had to call them 3 separate times just for them to tell me I have to go into the store and cancel. Upon going to the store they turn me away because the account is active and told me to cancel online. You cannot cancel online. I call again, and once again am sent to the store. Finally, a month and later I was able to cancel the plan. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, until I recently received a phone call telling me I there is a remaining balance on the account that I need to pay, for the month that they refused to close the account. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! This company is literally the worst you can ever retain for any internet or other telecommunications service. And that's not hyperbolic, they are atrocious at best. First, I was sold a plan that ended without notice, and subsequently doubled in cost. Second, I was charged a $10 late fee for being two days late on the bill (first time late in 12 months and of course, no emails saying the bill was due like any upstanding business establishment would). Third, when I contacted customer service the wait was 4 hours-- this company has scant regard for its clients and their welfare. Finally, upon initial install, their install guy asked to use my restroom. I obliged. He had diarrhea, did not flush and left my bathroom in shambles. So not only will you likely be robbed financially, but you may also end up having their employee abuse your kindness by leaving crap in your toilet. They are only out to get your money. This is concerning the mobile. I did sign up for internet, home security and then as long as I did that went back to get mobile. The entire experience (mobile) has been a nightmare. They insist on a signature for delivery of the phone and will not even accept the Fedex signature release form. I work for a living and am not taking off work to wait for a package and with the outrageous gas prices I am not driving to a facility to pick it up. Customer support was not helpful, just kept insisiting the exact same thing I just said. I just told Fedex to refuse delivery and I;m sticking with Cricket. Waited a week to get our internet set up after a local move, and the technician never showed up during the two hour block that they required us to be home. Calling and chatting with live agents is useless. We came into this store, and they are scheduling us for another week out because the order was "canceled." We have a confirmation text for the appointment but no cancelation text. The tech says it's because it wasn't really canceled. It was just never properly processed. Recently visited the xfinity store on Nevada Ave and my customer service rep was Russell who helped me switch my mobile service from another company, Russell was very patient and knowledgable, we were on the phone with the other company's tech support (which is not in the US, reps speak very broken english and got disconnected in the process), to get a port release, transfer code and phone unlocked, which was an insane experience but Russell pressed on. Later on when I was already driving away, he called me back and alerted me about another issue on my plan and fixed it. 5 stars for Russell, give him a promotion. read more

RANT So our trial period (with discount) with Xfinity ended today. Spent 31 minutes on the phone. They offered me a discount, but it was $10 higher than what we were paying before. Turns out they have to lock me in for thier stupid Mobil streaming app that absolutely CANNOT be seen on the TV. I have to have this stupid service for a month, then I can cancel this stupid service after a month with no penalty, bringing my bill back down to the our original rate. Fine print: We're locked in for 24 months and there is a $230 cancellation fee. I hate this stupid game we play with cable companies. Just give me your normal rate and save everyone a annual 30 minute phone call. I figure the hourly wages of the employee will add up to the money you won't make with me. read more

I would rate this service negative one star they are terrible. Connection goes in and out even with middle grade service. They have no solution to solve it the robot chat does not help. They only try to sell you more expensive service if they can't find a solution. I never had this bad experience with only internet. You tell them NO you do not approve a hold or a transfer theyll do it anyways. Their billing team is beyond slow, empty headed, and extremely unmotivated to do their job CORRECTLY. After 4 1/2 years with Comcast, I moved outside their "service" area. They charged me a $160 Earlt Termination Fee - after 4 1/2 years?! I called a month ago for help. She said they would get back to me. I heard back 2 weeks later, from their collection agency. I called back, asked to speak to a supervisor. They'd call me back within a half hour. A week later, they still haven't called back. For a communications compant, they don't. For a service company, it's poor service. But just typical for Xfinity. read more

So we had Comcast from the time we purchased our house in 2014. Since having the service, it was mostly OK. Overall not a lot of interruptions, however dealing with techincal support for troubleshooting internet is a nightmare. Additionally, we had a scenario where a technician on the pole disconnected our service one day and it took a week or two to get Comcast to come out and fix it. In the meantime, when we did talk to technical support they claimed 1) We had a wiring issue, 2) our modem was bad and needed to be replace. I work in networking and have for years. The modem was good, but just to go the extra mile to prove it, we purchased a brand new modem and tested with it and still go no service. That wasn't enough for Comcast, and we returned the modem since our old one had no issues. When we finally got a service technician outside to check the service a week or two later, I brought my laptop and modem outside and hooked directly up to the cable that connects into the side of the house. This takes out the house wiring and just leaves the latptop and the modem (which tech support claimed needed to be replaced). No connection. When the guy went up on the pole,sure enough, the line on the pole was disconnected. The previous tech that was on the pole connected another customer for new service that day and removed the connection for our residence. We were not in a disconnect notice for service nor had we been told we needed to pay anything, the account was in good standing. For all that trouble, hours and hours on phone calls and begging someone to come out and check the line, they could only credit us one month of service. To top it off, when we got CenturyLink after such a horrible experience and dropped Comcast's service, they tried to charge us for equipment we never had (cable tv set top boxes) and once that finally got removed and the bill corrected, we were sent to collections because we didn't get a bill in the mail and we owed $60. Oh they claimed they sent it, but it never arrived at the residence. We have filed with the BBB and we'll see what happens to remove the collection we paid anyhow from our credit reports. read more

I've had Xfinity ever since I moved and no problems but when I moved to a new address Xfinity tried to blame other programs for their not processing the ACP benefits properly. Now I find out I have a new username for their app but don't know the password or why it was reset. Been on the phone for 2 hours with still no answers or where to go next because all the problems are with Xfinity. Their representatives are not helpful at all especially through their texting service. They never listened to any of my problems or gave any answers to the problems. Why do I still have Xfinity after this? Not really sure because even the Wi-Fi connection in my home isn't very good and cuts out constantly. Guess I keep hoping for a change since it's such a big company but no I keep getting asked to change my phone provider to "save so much money". Definitely going to reconsider being a customer and would highly recommend people searching for internet services to look somewhere else and save the headache. read more

The business service is pathetic. Lousy technical trouble shooting. 3 days loss of business at 1 location. I was the one who found out the issue. Tech said I needed more speed, NOT. It was my POS system, NOT. Wiring in my store, NOT. The Wifi was causing issues, NOT. They kept saying their modum was fine x kept charging me for service calls. I asked for a 3 rd replacement of the modum. It was the modum and they replaced it with their upgraded modlex all is working. I asked to return to the previous speed. They said I could no longer have that plan because it does not exist. I was on an old plan. I had to pay a higher price now even though it was never explained and it was their equipment failure. After much haggling with management an lots of time, I was put back. I had to sign all manner of documents and a contact which I no longer had to have. Today I'm having similar issues at another location. Loss of sales. No one available for 4 hours. Here were go again. They are pathetic uncaring and incompetent. The FCC should slam them. HARD. This isn't about a specific xfinity/comcast store, it is about xfinity in general. They have one of the worst customer service systems, second only to AT&T, and that's a really low bar. Every time I have to call them for any reason, either wi-fi or mobile service, I lose at least an hour. Today, for example, I called their 800 number and the wait was 40 minutes, so I opted for a call back. 30 minutes later, I get a call from someone totally clueless who barely spoke English. I asked to be transferred to someone who could help me with a mobile phone issue and she disconnected me. I went to the web site and tried online chat. A person tried to connect me to the same 800 number. They called promptly, but again disconnected my call. I tried online chat again. BTW, the chat menu defaults to Billing Questions no matter what you select, so if your issue I sn't anout billing, be prepared for cluelessness. Again this second chat person had the 800 number call me back. Got a guy who, again, could barely speak English, but hetransferred me to a tech working from home in Portland, OR. After two hours, I finally find out that although my son was able to set up his new Moto G7 phone with my existing wi-fi account, I cannot do so myself gec a use I didn't buy my phone from xfinity, I bought an unlocked one through Amazon, and xfinity will not port over service to Motorola phone unless they sold it to you. You can only transfer to their service if you have an iPhone or a Samsung. In this condo, xfinity is my only choice for wi-fi service. I look forward to the day when I can get a different service here. read more

When you call customer service you are not asked how they can help or what you need, you spend your time talking to "Paul" in who knows where that's reading from a cue card. My experience then led to "Paul" completely changing the tv plan we had without my concent. The next day when we had lost numerous channels I called again and talked to " Scott " he changed our account again. After the 4th person, we went into our xfinity store and were told too bad. We have been customers for over 20 years, they do not care. Here's the part that sent me over the edge.....my 77 year old mother was bullied in to keeping things on her account she didn't need and can't afford!!!!!! PSA: If you are a customer of Xfinity and use them as an internet provider you may want to check the speeds that you are getting vs the speed you are paying for. I have been with them for just shy of my 2 years contract. I pay $64 a month for 60 mbps, I have only been getting 17-25 at best. They performed a reset on my server and I was to receive a call once done. That call came I was asked if my internet was back online by an automated system, when I said yes the call terminated. I have spent over 2 hours this evening trying to get an actual live person to speak to and then 35 minutes on hold waiting to speak to a supervisor. I actually had to call them from another phone while on hold on my phone to talk to a supervisor. $110 early termination fee done. For $65 Century link will provide 1 gig a second and no contract. I only went with Xfinity because Century link had not finished running their lines to the new development we live in. read more
