I get that majority of corporations dont function well and they dont really care if they do or not…read more I am just shocked that with todays technology i cant get simple answers or things accomplished. the in store tells me one thing, the chat says something else, and by phone yet another thing. 1) if i am due a refund i want cash/check not a gift card. gift cards dont deposit into an account. 2) if i am closing all accounts I should not have to sign up online or with an app I am not using to get help or answers. 3) I have one person telling me, i owe money and will sent a bill that hasnt come. yet another person telling me i owe nothing. 4) apparent forced card refund never arrived and most likely was not sent to the address i stated but the address we closed and moved from. 5.) i have no idea what is going on but you win I quit. i have spent too many hrs dealing with this so i am sure the refund is yours now!!! Well my plan was getting ready to end and unlike last year where they offered to extend my existing…read moreplan and monthly fee, I had to call in prior to the plan ending and get the usual run around, being transferred all over the place, being told how important I was, that I was a good customer for 10 plus years (it is actually long, though off and on), and they couldnt keep the charges the same or even really be close, even for a senior and I am one person who has ONE phone, ONE laptop and I watch maybe two hours of streaming tv a night... I also had reached out via chat on their website and that was useless also. So I told them to cancel my account/plan and I would return the router. I returned it a week before I told them to disconnect me. Just a few days before I returned the router, I was billed for the next month. So now I have been with FIOS for a few weeks and I get an email indicating that my comcast/Xfinity bill will be due shortly and of course, it is almost $80 more for the same service I had previously. THE ACCOUNT/PLAN WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN CLOSED VIA PHONE WEEKS BEFORE AND THE ROUTER HAD BEEN RETURNED. YOU CAN'T BILL ME (REMOVING FUNDS FROM MY ACCOUNT BTW) FOR A SERVICE I CANNOT ACCESS AND THAT I HAVE CLOSED. So I had to call in and it wasn't easy to get a rep - I had to SWEAR at the interactive voice response system to finally talk to a person....and I guess my account wasn't closed. THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO MAKE ME A DEAL TO HAVE ME STAY, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE ROUTER AND IM WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND I CLOSED THE PLAN - WHAT DON'T YOU, COMCAST/XFINITY, UNDERSTAND????? SO I have a confirmation # that the account is closed, but it is in pending status currently. After all the time I spent on the phone previously, the account really wasnt closed and I would have been billed. That being said, I still don't believe them and I have to check my account to verify that funds haven't been taken out for a service I don't have...... Really? IF you had wanted me to stay, you should have worked with me. I tried. And I don't bluff, so Im now with another company.

Past experiences with Comcast through online chat services has netted poor results for other…read moreissues. Phone conversations have also not netted results. In the last couple years, going into a local store (1hr 30min round trip) to be the best method for getting results by human to human contact. I recently discovered through comparison that we had been paying for Peacock streaming through Amazon Pay and through Comcast. I do not know how this happened, but we had been having difficulty getting Peacock activated through Comcast. Rather than dealing with Comcast (Internet says headquarters are in Philadelphia), I am de-activating my subscription to Peacock Premium today. I will also be contacting Peacock because they should have technology to discover and reduce duplicative services for their customers. I am very frustrated at companies' subscription efforts for profits without checking for already subscribed and switching services for customers who want to change companies.

No refund made for any of these outages. 5. I remember an incident of 90s when my telephone company in Long Island made a refund for 2 days when my telephone did not work. 6. Why not the same policy followed by Comcast?

I give one star because it will not allow a "no star" review. let's start with, dropping our…read moretelevision off & being told we would receive a call with a diagnosis and estimate. 2 days later, mr. goodman called and said the television was fixed and it was over $200. he then lied and said your husband told me to fix whatever the problem is, we'll pay. who in the world does that? we felt obligated to pay because how would we know if he reversed what he did that he would not mess up something else as well. 3 weeks later, we had the same problem so we took it back and it was "fixed" under the warranty with an attitude. 3 months later the same problem again. we were told it was no longer under their warraty but it was the same issue. after much arguing, they "fixed" it once more. & guess what....it broke again. since it was 4 weeks from the latest "fix", it was worked on again. unfortunately; 2 weeks later, the same problem occurred. this time, we didn't go back. we believe they use old parts & charge new part prices. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

I called in for a repair and told them exactly what the problem with my 52" Samsung TV was, a DP…read moreChip needed to be repaired, a common issue these TV's have. They said they would have to pick the TV up because the repaired could not be done in my home and the total cost with pick up and replacing the part would be $300.00. I asked again and they said no more than $300.00. I thought I was getting a bargain because I had already called the Geek Squad and Samsung directly and it was more in the 400-500 range. Well if it sounds to good to be true IT IS!!! They called me two days later and said the repair would be $500 plus tax. Big difference from the initial estimate. Since I felt they had lied to get my business I asked them to bring my TV back. They scheduled me for 1pm on friday and by 4:30 (after my 2nd call) they still were not even on their way. The guy on the phone explained that he didn't have enough people to help and had the nerve to ask if anyone at the house could help unload the TV and bring upstairs. Oh, this after they charged me $100 for pick up and diagnosis (which I had already told them). I didnt get my TV that day after wasting my Friday afternoon and vacation time but instead they delivered it the next day. Bottom line is they were dishonest from the get go and irresponsible. Great way to run a business!
