I brought the iPhone 17 Pro Max in May and a month later my screen started glitching out and…read moreflashing a bunch of colors like crazy. I went into the Apple Store in Cherry Hill because T-Mobile said since I have Apple Care/Insurance/Warranty, any problems with the device is handled with Apple themselves. First off, when you get in there, all the employees ignore you and act like you don't exist and you have to try to find one who "appears" to be available and ask them to help you. The representative who assisted me was named Sully, a white guy with long blonde hair, I showed him the video of the first time my phone started glitching and he ran a bunch of diagnostics, which did a whole bunch of nothing because everything came out positive, and he concluded that I needed a screen replacement. Of course the screen replacement can't be done the same day, like they don't have a bunch of employees in blue apple shirts walking in and out their back office door every two seconds, so I had to find time out of my already busy and booked schedule to make an appointment to bring my phone in and be phoneless for four hours while they replace the screen. Well, they replaced the screen and when I went to pick it up, they again ran their little diagnostics to show that everything was ok with the phone. One week later and my phone screen starts acting up again and this time it won't stop. I went a whole 24 hours without being able to use my phone, and the same night it happened, I scheduled another appointment with Apple Cherry Hill the following day so I can get my phone fixed, let alone replaced because the fact that this happened TWICE on a brand new released phone is insane quality control. The representative I spoke to this time, Norety, was completely unempathetic to my situation and looked like helping me was the least of her concerns. She was full of hot air and spoke with more confidence than she did knowledge. She concluded that even though the screen was replaced, it's actually the logic board that's the issue and needs to be replaced. Why wasn't the logic board also checked when doing the initial screen replacement if both are hand and hand with the screen glitch? Heaven knows. I then asked her how long would it take for me to get that replaced and she said since they don't have the part in store, they have to order it and wait for it to come which would take 3-5 business days. When I asked does that mean I have to go another 3-5 business days without a phone? (IN THIS DAY AND AGE MIND YOU) She said yes. When I asked if there's anyway that she can call other locations and ask if they have it in stock so I can make an appointment with them instead to get it fixed, she said No and they don't call around other stores asking about their inventory because that doesn't mean they'll reserve that part for me. Interesting, because I've done so much research and NOBODY has been having this issue with their brand new iPhone 17 Pro Max, but I told her to do it anyway and she "did". I'm sure she just went to the back and twiddled her thumbs for a couple minutes while I looked stupid sitting in the middle of the Apple store with my phone flashing a bunch of different colors. I then asked her if I could have a temporary phone and supposedly they don't give out temporary phones so I was just out of luck. When I told her at this point, can I just order a replacement phone and not worry about getting it fixed because CLEARLY the phone itself is the problem and not all these random parts they keep bringing up and saying is the problem, she told me I had to call AppleCare myself and they'll help me with the $100 Nonrefundable express replacement. WHAT ARE THEY HERE FOR IF IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF WHILE THEY PROVIDE NO IMMEDIATE SERVICE??? I called AppleCare and there's actually no $100 express shipping (shocker!) and that I actually have to pay the whole price of the phone ($1770) and once Apple receives my damaged phone, they'll refund me back the money. If you're in search for a new phone, provider, etc., don't stop here. Initially, I made a mistake common of many folks, going to a kiosk labeled "Verizon" without realizing that it was an "authorized retailer" designed to siphon just a little more cash out of you on top of the usual. After initially being very nice, many phones were not in stock, and added services (insurance, data transfer) were added essentially without consulting me. After I realized what was occurring (namely the data transfer) I asked them to stop because it wasn't necessary (all of my data is already in the cloud and I can add apps like any brainless idiot without paying 30 dollars). Other charges were added to my bill that I did not realize until I contacted Verizon. Finally, they often do not have sales which match or are the same as regular Verizon stores. So, next time you need to go to "the verizon store" make sure you find a real one and not this garbage store.

I drive over there only to find the place CLOSED. The best part? The door literally says OPEN. Then there's one sign saying they're "closing at 3pm due to staff shortage," and another sign taped to the outside saying "closed due to staffing shortage, have a blessed day." Maybe instead of sending automated confirmation texts, you should notify customers that nobody is actually there to work. Wasting people's time like this is beyond incompetent. Total clown show run by morons who apparently can't figure out how to update their appointment system or communicate with customers. There are businesses that you look forward to visiting but cell phone repair venues well ... you just hope they know what they are doing, are able to complete their work timely, and perhaps have prices below the price you think they are going to charge. From my very first telephone call to UBREAKIFIX in Glassboro New Jersey through my saying goodbye as I walked out with my repaired cell phone I received nothing but superb, friendly, and professional service from the staff at this repair outlet. I should mention that they are a Google authorized repair shop, which is good news because if they weren't around I'd have to ship my phone to Google and wait for them to ship back to me. So I was doing a happy dance right from the beginning and if you've seen me do a happy dance well you won't find it on TikTok. The shop itself gives the appearance of professionalism It's clean It almost reminds me of an optician's office. Although you cannot see the workshop you just feel comfortable and leaving your phone or tablet with their team. They gave me an estimate on time and the job was completed in less than their estimate. Can't beat that! And, As I type this review on my now repaired cell phone I could swear that the screen is clearer and easier to use than the original one that came with the phone. Of course that original screen went to the cement as I fell in a careless pile of my body Just because I thought I knew where the steps were and there really wasn't the step there so bam! Finally, the cost was much less than I expected. My daughter had cracked her cell phone and she gave me the estimate for repairs. I walked away with more money available to be on my credit card than I expected and that made me one happy boy! So, now I'm backed into the texting world and my cell phone is going every second of every day but if you happen to crack your screen and your anywhere in South Jersey I could not recommend a better place for your repair work to get done than this shop!

Obviously they don't want your business for anything but a simple battery replacement and by claiming you've never been there, they have no obligation to replace for free if any of the select watch batteries were previously replaced.
