I had a very disappointing experience at this Xfinity Mobile location. I walked in with just two simple questions, and while I was in the middle of asking them, the employee (a Hispanic male) abruptly got up and walked toward the front to check in people who were just walking into the store. He didn't acknowledge that I was already being helped or excuse himself--he just left mid-conversation. It felt very dismissive and rude. On top of that, the store was extremely loud and felt unorganized, which made the experience even more frustrating. I ended up walking out because I didn't feel valued as a customer. Basic courtesy and communication go a long way, and this experience fell short. read more

Finally trying Xfinity, will update the review if we need the home service/wifi. Quality/Quantity - Ordered online and their other location was out of stock, so my daughter chose this location for equipment pick up. After a 10-15 minute wait (very busy location, but plenty of employees) we got help and were able to pick up the equipment. Then they made us an amazing cell phone offer (they use Verizon's towers), but I will need my current contract to end before even considering it. The goal was to self install the router/modem (and failed, my fault). After taking apart the property to find the wire, we gave up and ordered the $100 in home service. And of course, I should have found it... The wire was tucked in the back of the wall box, I should have stuck my hand in what I thought was an empty box. Wasted $100, my fault. Product offerings - Internet, TV & streaming, mobile, home security and Comcast Business. Atmosphere - Decent size location. Plenty of mall parking, got a space up front. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm. Service - Good, both in store and at the property. If my daughter gives me their business cards, I will update the review with names. I believe the sales person was Johnae...? Price - $35 a month for minimum wifi service and a modem lease. $100 for a technician to come out and find the wire that I was too lazy to dig in and pull out... Goodbye xfinity it's been real, we had fun but we've grown apart. You just didn't hold up your end of the relationship. Up to recently I have had xfinity internet and mobile. I signed up for this when I got rid of Verizon due to their price gouging wallet draining price. Initially the package had a bundled price with internet and mobile. Once that ended internet went way up to the tune of $110 a month. After dealing with that for too long I finally called in to cancel or check on a different rate. The agent said I could get 1 gig service for $51 so I signed up. Like speed more than half off, what could go wrong? When it seems to good to be true it usually is. And it was. Wireless speed on phone and computer were slower and even slower on computer when using an ethernet cable. After a few phone calls I was told everything is working great. You have 1.19 gig at the gateway. Great but slower than what I had before to my devices. My partner had the same issue. She even had a technician come out and swap the gateway and still crap speed to the point many web sites timed out. She recently called to switch back to her slower plan that was actually faster but the price was going to double!!!!! Help me make sense of this craziness. Well I switched to Sonic Fiber and it is the shiznat. Wifi clocking in at 1.4 gig and on the wire faster. Also latency is so much faster. Not a big deal most of time but for what I do it is very important. It was good while bundled but this new speed they have is a farce. read more

Very disappointing experience at the Xfinity store. The store manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of helping resolve my issue, he raised his voice and made me feel like I had done something wrong. I felt disrespected and almost pushed out of the store rather than treated as a customer. I came looking for assistance, but the staff's attitude was unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, even when there is a disagreement or billing issue. I've come here a few times to return some equipment every time Comcast does an upgrade. When you enter the store, they get your name, and call you rather quickly. I had some cable boxes I had to return when Comcast shipped me some new ones. So, the process was pretty quick and easy. I also confirmed my billing price as I returned an extra box this time. Spent a "good" hour today with "Teonna" at this Xfinity Store to revise and update my TV & Streaming service (that wasn't completed as requested and expected via Xfinity Online Support)...mainly to make sure I was getting channels I actually watch, as well as to reduce the over-all amount of my monthly Xfinity charges....in 25-words or less...."she's an ANGEL sent from above"....Mission Accomplished....5-stars for her...!!! Teonna was a pleasure to work with, so knowledgeable with great personality and communication skills; I've actually been very fortunate here in this store with ALL the reps who have service me (see my previous comments)...!!! Going forward, I will make a "store visit" my FIRST option with issues that require attention...in the past, I thought it was more convenient via online Customer Service...and in my honest opinion, it's NOT...their A.I. The Manager here was extremely rude, boasts that he's worked for an xfinity shop for over 10 years, and literally has 0 basic customer service and communication skills. My advice is to LISTEN first and try to understand, look into it, and then help, kindly. Especially when that customer is coming in because of mistakes xfinity caused in the first place leading to fraudulent charges. Gaslighting and raising your voice at a customer in this scenario is wild. read more

Billing mistakes are common and repeated. Will not refund their mistakes. I disputed their double charge and now they are trying to charge me a late charge for them double billing me. Customer service is the absolute worst. I'm stuck with them due to my HOA but I'm not paying for their screwups, dishonesty and rudeness. Not even one star. More like negative five. read more

Xfinity had notified me via email and billing statements that the internet plan was going to expire, so I booked an appointment to find a new internet plan. I arrived a little late but it wasn't too crazy busy so I was able to be seen immediately. I was assigned to Laurel, who is super friendly and enjoyable to talk with. It's great to have someone to relate to besides having customer service alone. He listened to request, explained the changes on the plan, and answered all my questions. Normally I dislike going out to run errands but this is one of a few I look forward to. Got my new internet plan updated. Had all my future iphone questions answered. We came in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was pretty busy, the guy that checked us in put us down for Spanish speaking service when we told him we had no preference, so when I noticed several people that came in after us got called ahead of us, I went back to the check in desk and thankfully was assisted by Dejoun. When I told him what happened he immediately stepped up to help us removing himself from the check in desk to help us with our issue. He honestly made it up for us. Xfinity has a horrible method of getting a hold of a human, it's close to impossible. Anyhow this location is busy, made an appointment and still had to wait. The music was on super loud and of course it was rap, which honestly for a business is pretty distasteful. It wouldn't be that bad had it been at a level for normal people, but to walk into a crowded store with loud rap music is tacky and stressful IMO. I recommend the store, not Xfinity. I got great customer service from Mariah on Friday, Sept 5, about 4:00 pm. She lowered my monthly bill by $45.00, she made an appointment for me to have a Xfinity come to my apt on Sunday and showed me how to get good deals in the future. She also figured out that the problem was an old cable box. She was very helpful and nice. Xfinity is another story. They need to dramatically lower their prices. Let's be clear, Comcast is the worst but so are all the ISPs! But in terms of my experience at this store, they've been all good. I was with AT&T for both mobile and internet for many many years. The fastest internet that AT&T had available in my area was only 50 Mbps. Whereas Xfinity claimed they could offer 1 Gbps aka 1000 Mbps, just a casual 20x faster than AT&T. So I finally made the switch last month. I first came in Tuesday 12/29/20 around 4pm. I was lucky there was no line at that time. I think a line developed around 5pm, so try not to go during rush hour and go earlier in the day if you can. On that day, I signed up for Xfinity WiFi. You can also do it online or over the phone, but there was an issue with the previous tenants of my place and Xfinity said I basically I had to go in person to resolve the issue. It was pretty quick and easy to get set up. They take COVID and social distancing seriously, which is nice. They have a limited capacity of how many customers can be in the store, and everyone else is in a social distance line outside. There are plastic screen dividers between each team member and the customer, and also between two customers being served next to each other. They will always try to sell more to you lol I have been told they get commission for adding mobile to your internet plan. I was open to the unlimited mobile plan because it was much cheaper than my current AT&T unlimited plan, and they had promotions at the beginning of the year for a prepaid Visa giftcard, so I decided to go all in! My phone wasn't unlocked however so we couldn't get the mobile part done on that day. I walked away with an Xfinity goodie bag with the router/modem (combined, 1-piece) and this thing called Xfinity Flex that you can connect to your TV to stream things, kinda like a Roku or Amazon Fire Stick. I was able to set it up when I got home. The only thing that threw me off was the Coaxial cable - my old router didn't use this so I had to find where that thing was at my house lol. They have a handy Xfinity Gateway app to set up the WiFi, and it's really easy to use. They also have a Mobile and Stream app. In terms of mobile, I was told Xfinity uses the same towers as Verizon- so I believe switching to Xfinity mobile is comparable to switching to Verizon lol. About a week later, I came in to get the mobile deal. They had all sorts of discounts and promos going when I went, so definitely check out their website in advance to see what promos they got going before signing up with them! I got a new phone when I switched over and got a discount on the phone. I wanted a white iPhone 12 with 128 GB, but they did not have that phone in stock. The guy helping me had to order it, but then the system was down, lol. He called a few hours later and we were able to complete the transaction over the phone. I then got the phone mailed to me, and was able to activate the phone myself at home. Overall, the experience at the store has been good, I have no complaints! read more

Last week my husband and I became so frustrated with the service we were receiving from DirecTV. Ever since DirecTV merged with AT&T, the quality of their service went south. My husband had to reboot three times in a three hour period in the morning (August 5) because the TV kept freezing up on a program we were watching. Oh, the frustration involved with this repetitive freezing up. It was time to yank the chain and discontinue as a subscriber. Our neighbors across the driveway recommended Xfinity. We even have a neighbor down the street with Xfinity. Both neighbors have been with Xfinity for several years. Thus, we paid Xfinity a visit to find out about their service. Perla Jimenez was the employee who assisted us. She was helpful and cordial. We were content with her customer service. I held off writing this review because I wanted to see the quality of service the technician would perform in setting us up with television, internet and telephone services. Joey, the technician, was pleasant and engaging in conversation. He did an excellent job in installing the equipment. Finally, we are satisfied that our TV has not frozen up while watching a program. The rating is 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars. read more

This is one of the better locations quality of service wise. If you have never been here before, it's sort of hidden inside a small shopping center. Your phone app will tell you that you have arrived. But to find them you need to drive past several other businesses. There are ample parking spaces. Also they only allow a certain number of customers inside the store at any one time. If you can try to go there when they aren't super busy to avoid long lines. I wen by there today in the rain, there was only one person in line. this store is always well staffed and organized. I'm not sure what the 2 1/2 stars are about, I had excellent service. read more

Got a charge for $120 for "unreturned equipment" and Comcast won't do anything about it or refund the money taken out of our account. My husband took it to this location and handed it to a worker, yet we got this charge along with the inability to make it right on their end. 5 stars for the staff at this location! First let's get one thing straight....Comcast is a horrible company. I just switched all of my services away from them. That being said I had to go into this branch to get some information for my transfer. I tried calling into the call center to get the info and it said it was going to be a 1.5-2 hour wait for a rep. Tried using the online chat and it wouldn't even connect. Tried the call back service and no one ever called. Tatiana was the one that helped me today and she is an absolute angel. She went over and above to help me resolve my issue and couldn't have been nicer. And it got me thinking about all the other visits I have had to this branch in the last year. And every employee I have encountered here have been absolutely wonderful! Excellent service! And these poor employees deal with a lot of BS and rude people. They all deserve a raise! Xfinity... Xfinity... Xfinity... le sigh (looks to the heavens above). You have dominated the cable and internet industry for decades. However, customer satisfaction and service isn't your strong suit. Perhaps it's for this very reason. Options are slim. You now provide mobile service as well. Awesome!! Let's start with the absorbent wait times on the phone and in person. After going in person I feel that experience trumps the phone experience. Customers can wait close to an hour or more just to be helped by an Xfinity associate. There's a movie screen size TV but NO RESTROOM for customer use. I believe a restroom for customers is a necessity over the TV. Have you thought about the young children who are with their parents, pregnant women, incontinent bladder people? I was told by an associate Popeyes USED to let your customers use the restroom. Uuummm... Hhhmm... They shouldn't have to. Why is that acceptable to you? The purpose of my trip was to establish mobile service as it is cheaper than my current provider and you just so happen too, Xfinity gets service through my current provider but offered at a lower price point. The sales associate who helped me with the transfer was very helpful and knew her job duties well. At the end she offered her card with her business cell for a more personalized experience. This stood out to me and made me feel my business with them was valued. Unfortunately, the first time I reached out it took over 24 hours for her to respond. I gave the benefit of the doubt as I know it's a process going over service plans and establishing or transferring service. The second time I reached out, crickets . No response whatsoever. Now, I'm confused why I was given her business card and told I could contact her directly for assistance. It's been two weeks without a response. My free Peacock Premium was somehow removed when transferring internet service from one address to the next. No explanation why it was no longer free. I was told I could pay at a discounted price as an existing customer. Inside the app that price doesn't exist and the sales rep hasn't gotten back to me. I refuse to pay for cable. I don't watch that much tv or programming. I haven't paid for cable since 2012. Internet will suffice. Millions of customers are supporting you Xfinity. Can we receive support in return?
