They showed up right on time and got right to work. Everything was going fine initially, until I scheduled the visit & talked through all the options. Right before we finish, the sales rep says "Oh yeah and there is a non-refundable charge for the person to come out to your house and finalize your package". At that point, I was a bit annoyed. So I said - I'll think about it and call back. At this point, the guy says "what can we do win your business", and magically takes $15 off the price. I say great, I'll call back once I've thought about it. At that point, he says "you can only get this price with me, right now, you have to sign or else it's gone". So I say - are you really telling me if I call back later, you won't give me this price? He says yep. So I say - whatever, I'll take my chances. Then he, AGAIN, throws out his "what can we do to win your business" and I tell him "Either remove the charge for the person to come out, or tell me you will honor the price that you just quoted", and he says "Can't do that". So I say, all right then, fair enough. And then... he just hangs up on me. No "Anything else I can help you with", no "Have a nice day" - just hangs up. I called back to complain (to the same BS number they put in every response to negative feedback on all the review sites), and they just routed me around, said the managers were unavailable, and did nothing. I'm not the type to call back, or complain, or anything - this was a first for me. And they've harassed me on phone & email ever since. I will never work with this company. They are truly the dregs of the industry. I wish I could give zero stars.

They set me up with an amazing system with high quality cameras and a great app that alarms when anyone is within frame for the allotted time. When they set up my cameras they spent time making sure I knew how to use the system, and set up all the features I wanted. I was very impressed. Russ came to my house, took a look at my setup, and made a few reasonable upgrade recommendations...all at no charge to me. He didn't "push" anything on me, just gave me the facts, briefly mentioned his Blockwatch service, and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. He actually dissuaded me from spending more money on upgrading my panel unit or adding sensors he deemed unnecessary...fine with me! I was so happy with Russ's inspection and advice that I paid him to come out and install a new keypad and a half dozen new sensors. Some of these were the tiny Micra window sensors he sells on his site (alarmprofessor.com), all of which turned out perfectly. Russ told me he's been in the business for 30+ years, and let me tell you, it definitely shows. He worked very quickly, but always took time to answer my questions. When I showed an interest in learning the keypad programming, he taught me exactly how to do everything myself in the future. Russ seems like a good man and a skilled alarm technician. If I ever need alarm help again I know exactly who I'm going to call.
