Food - I went with a group of friends and we tried SOOO many things I can not say what was amazing and what the names of everything were. I thought the dumplings were delicious and there were many varieties. I definitely wanna go back and try more. Service - My daughter was also included with my group of friends and all the staff that was near our table were so kind to my daughter and even made sure that she was ok with her water and if she needed any food. Ambiance - The restaurant was nice. It was a little dark inside, so it depended on where you sat if the lighting was off balance or if you were by the windows where the light was very strong.

had date night here and the food was great. they have happy hour everyday including weekends 4-7:30 so that was a pleasant surprise! wasn't too busy so we were seated immediately. we had the dumpling sampler and chili oil wontons (not pictured) as our appetizers from the HH menu. we spent eight at $80 for 2 drinks, 2 apps and 2 entrees. def adding this into our weeknight rotation just from the happy hour!

Came here for a lunch catch up with some friends The soup dumplings were yummy, I didn't think they were very special but the dough held well for the soup and meat. It was pretty pricey for dumplings about $16 for 6 the truffle was good but $22 for 6. They did have a great lunch special though that was $13 and included a variety of dishes to choose from and fried rice, soup, and eggroll. I'd definitely recommend for the lunch menu! 11-3pm m-thurs we got the general tso and it was delicious!

My partner and I's spot for Valentine's Day and any day we're craving it! Food is always hot and flavorful. I do wish the chicken to be more crispy though. Other than that the perfect dinner. Scallion pancakes are a must! One entree is enough to feed a group of 2-3. Angelika was great. Really attentive and kind. Given the occasion there was still a family dining and some small groups. A place for anyone really.

Overall good Chinese food with mostly hits but a few misses. There aren't many Chinese restaurants around this area so happy to have this nearby! Hits - Pork soup dumpling. I tend to be picky about soup dumplings because my family is from around the Shanghai area but these surprised be pleasantly with a lot of soup but not being too oily. - Salted pork soup. Flavorful and light brothy soup you don't get too often amongst more Americanized starchier soups like Hot and Sour soup. Only con here was that there weren't too many ingredients in there, probably only 3-4 pieces of tofu. - Yangzhou fried rice. Tasty fried rice although not completely up to an actual "Yangzhou" style fried rice that's usually drier rice but overall would order again - Honey walnut prawn. A very tasty dish in general but appreciated the large prawn size. A little too much mayo for my taste but enjoyed a lot Miss - Lions head meatball had an artificial sweetener flavor to it, almost like Stevia and it was a strong aftertaste. Don't really recommend from this location - Snow peas. A standard Chinese stir fry veggie but it was very oily and wet, which usually defeats the purpose of a veggie

Wonderful experience! Saturday night dinner, we were seated immediately as a party of four. Our waiter was super attentive and had lots of support from his peers. While the restaurant was busy, it wasn't too noisy-our table was able to have a nice conversation and hear each other. The fish tank when you walk in is impressive, such beautiful fish! Parking was a little packed but not terrible. We ordered: Pork soup dumplings Dumpling Sampler-Fried Sesame Chicken-Steamed Rice Honey Walnut Shrimp-Fried Rice Shanghai Fried Rice Shanghai Scallion Noodles Every single dish was superb! Temperature on point, flavors superb, portion sizes plentiful! I definitely recommend stopping in to try this place, you will not be disappointed.

We came last night to this location to celebrate my sister's birthday. Food was great. I forgot to take pics of the rest of it once it kept coming out. There was a sauteed Chinese green beans and beef dish and the honey walnut shrimp I didn't take photos that were quite delicious as well besides the dumplings. What made this even more special was the staff that worked last night. They were so attentive and accommodating. They even played 50 cent "In Da Club" after we sang her happy birthday (subtlety my siblings noticed and thought was so cute). Thank you so much for making our family dinner special.

One of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to. The fortune house is part of a plaza and looks nice inside and outside has atmosphere. The server was very nice and helpful and the food tasted fresh. We got chicken taro egg rolls, dumpling sampler, yang Zhou fried rice, sesame chicken, tea smoked duck. The egg roll were thin but very crispy but I did wish it had more meat in it. The dumpling sampler was good and it was a nice way to try all their dumplings. The vegetarian dumpling was our favorite. The sesame chicken was really good, not too much breading, smoked duck was really good, it takes a while to cook and my chicken came out first so I was they came out together. The duck came out about 20 minutes after the chicken. Lastly, the fried rice was really good and light. I like when it doesn't have too much soy saice Additionally they have happy hour everyday from 5-7pm. Half drinks of wine, cocktails, beers, and sake. They also have a few apps on happy hour too

Have been disappointed by the times I've returned since they've changed ownership. Today, the AC was broken (in Texas summer!) and no heads up was given at the front. We were sat, and then they set out a couple fans, but we remained quite toasty throughout the meal. Our server was super nice, but no acknowledgement was made about the heat. Pretty disappointed, this place used to be my staple in the area, but I think it's time to continue the search.

It's been awhile since my last visit and let's star with the service. Amy was super nice and accommodating. The food was okay. They definitely need to work on cleanliness from the front door mate, which as dirty and we arrived upon opening. There are flys and bugs activity especially in the windows. I might give them another try with corrections.

Wonderful Experience on the Patio! We had a fantastic dinner at Fortune House Chinese Cuisine! We arrived about an hour early for our reservation but were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise. We chose to sit on the patio, and it was absolutely beautiful--peaceful, nicely set up, and a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Our server, Zayne, was amazing--very attentive, patient, and checked on us regularly without being overbearing. Great service really made the experience even better. We ordered a variety of dishes: orange chicken, fried rice, white rice, chicken lo mein, chicken dumplings, and the green beans. Everything was delicious and full of flavor, with generous portions--plenty of food for the three of us to share. We were there on a Thursday and took advantage of their 1/2 price bottles of wine, which was a great bonus. I wish I had taken more pictures, but honestly, we were too busy enjoying the food and the atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back!

The food was amazing, the service even better! I had the sweetest server, her name was Trinity. She catered to everything I needed without being overbearing, and was there whenever I needed something. I will be returning. Plus, the Xiao Long Bao was bomb.

Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly and gave us some great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We tried the following dishes: Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), Gong Bao Pork, and Stir-Fried La Mian with Vegetables. My favorite dishes were the beef dish and the soup dumplings. I would definitely order those again. It was also really nice to see the chef hand-pull the noodles right behind our table, which added to the whole experience. This visit, we hosted family from East Texas who'd been here once before. Starting with delicious Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and Bucks Spare Ribs, we moved on to Ants Climbing Trees (Ma Yi Shang Shu), a classic Sichuan dish of vermicelli cooked with minced pork, in fermented chili sauce, with garlic and green onions, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, crispy bite-size shrimp tossed with green onion, basil, garlic, and jalapeño, and Sichuan Green Beans, stir-fried with garlic, mushrooms, and minced pork. We opted for one order of white rice and one of fried rice with our entrées. The restaurant is almost always packed if you don't have a reservation, but the vibe is relaxed and casual without being loud. In fact, it's so popular, you may have to wait a bit even with a reservation, since they want you to enjoy your meal vs rushing you out to "turn the table."

Skin looked crispy but was not. Supposed to come with a mandarin sauce. Sauce I got had to be just soy & hoisin. No citrus flavor at all and very thin and salty. Oversalted potato slices, gummy rice & no veg. 2) Secret steak menu $63 - Sous vide ribeye was large and my husband liked it. This was also served with oversalted potato slices, no veg. 3) Slow braised pork $28 - Pork cut was pork belly which would have been nice to mention on the menu. My son wouldn't have chosen that entree if he knew that was the cut. It was a gelatinous mountain of darkened fat in a salty sauce. The bok choy was fine, simply steamed and unremarkable. Gummy rice. 4) Scallion pancake $8 - greasy and very light on scallions. Meh. 5) Blue crab & cheese wontons $12 - Very little filling, though what was in there was good. Mostly hard crispy wonton, not light or airy. The dipping sauce was giving mango baby food vibes. 6) Cocktails - Lychee Grapefruit Martini $13 and Baby Boulevardier $15 were good. 7) Bathroom was dirty and trach can overflowing onto the floor at 7pm on a Sunday night. 8) Had at least 4 different servers approach our table to take our orders and every time we tried to order they said they'd come back later due to the time it would take for the sous vide steak to finish cooking. It would have been nice to have a single server coordinate that timing with the kitchen instead of a parade of different people ask us to order and then leave when they heard there was a steak working. 9) Table had a view of a wine room that looked more like a storage room with lots of random cardboard boxes. 10) When they cleared the table and took the steak board away there was a greasy puddle under it that was never wiped up by anyone despite us remaining at the table for some time afterward. Overall yes on the steak & cocktails and that's about it. Would def not return. At that price point I was expecting fine dining and was sadly disappointed.
