Bento box: crunchy roll, Hunan beef, potstickers, and fried rice
    Catherine G.

We came on New Year's Eve at almost 9pm on our drive home and we still received great service and our food came very quickly. This place has so many different Asian cuisine all in one restaurant and the bento box is a great way to get a taste of a bunch of cuisines together. Portion sizes are big and prices are reasonable.

Outstanding sushi! Always sit at the sushi station, service is outstanding and everything is fresh. Sushi chefs are top notch, they keep us well taken care of! Our #1 date night place!

Teriyaki Chicken and veggies, veggie egg roll, California Roll, fried Rice. Comes with a sweet and sour dipping sauce and wasabi and ginger.

tasty little treat. Living in Weldon 45 min west and not one good Restraunt to eat at. Great atmosphere, clean, nice interior and outside covered patio, but the service was very slow. The food was great. Hubby and I each got a bento box which was perfect. When I snapped this pic I had already ate my vegie egg roll but great spot to go when you want a treat

    Chicken pad Thai

Chicken pad Thai just ok. Lots of chicken but it's all cut in different ways like skinny strips then bigger pieces, not many scrambled eggs. Noodles galore not much sauce which makes it gummy. I also got a fried roll with crab, asparagus, cream cheese but it had some fish flavor at the last roll. Hope I don't get sick

Spicy tuna, avocado and soy paper tempura. Special Request.

The best around. Literally. And.. Well, I know this is a small desolate town and there aren't too many options but THIS place has it all. I live two hours from here and I make this my number one dining spot every time. I am allergic to shellfish and have never had an issue here. The rice -AMAZING. The noodles - AMAZING. And the food has always been fresh. Wonton soup is one of my favorites. I love the bar area and the staff. Soju sneaks up on you, drunker beware. But so so delicious. The staff is and has been stellar for years. Most of them have been here as long as I have been coming (since 2012). There's not other place I would rather get a variety of delicious Asian cuisine to feast on. East and west coast.

    Drunken noodles with chicken

Solid Chinese food in Ridgecrest. We were tired after driving to and from Death Valley National Park, and Xin Bowl was exactly what we needed. We ordered drunken noodles with chicken (my fave), orange two types (beef and chicken), and Mongolian shrimp and beef (the blandest of the lot). The last two were served with rice. We also ordered a kids meal with fried shrimp and chicken nuggets, which was enjoyed by our little one. Total came to ~$65 and service was friendly. Nice way to wrap up our stay in Ridgecrest.

    Baked Mediterranean Green Mussels

I came here on a Wednesday for lunch and the restaurant was not too packed. I heard that this place had good sushi for the area so I decided to try it out. We ordered the Fire Cracker Roll, Baked Lobster Roll, and the Baked Mediterranean Green Mussels to share. The Fire Cracker Roll came out first and it was decent. The rice on the sushi roll did not seem as fresh and fell apart easily. The mussels and the Baked Lobster Roll came out shortly after. The rice on the Baked Lobster Roll was the same as the Fire Cracker Roll. Both rolls were average but the Fire Cracker Roll was better than the Baked Lobster Roll. The mussels were pretty tasty and I would definitely order that again. The service was not the greatest as mentioned in the other reviews. I did not expect superior service, but minimal service would have been nice. I felt bad when I had to ask another server TWICE to get a refill on my soda. It would also be nice to see if your customers needed anything else before offering the check. I would probably come back to try the other menu items. I feel like service can be improved, but that takes time and training. I was lucky to be able to dine in since the pandemic!

Just stopping by from palmdale and found this place. Great service. The udon soup was delicious. The baked salmon role was also very good. The place itself is really cute. They had an 80's playlist that I really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Hot & sour soup, Tom Ka soup Bento with Kung Pao shrimp so delicious!

It felt a bit all over the place at first. But the reviews were so strong compared to everything nearby that we decided to try it on our way to Mammoth. When we got there it was pretty quiet, and the owner sat us and took our order himself. He was really friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu and give recommendations. We ended up talking with him quite a bit, and once he explained his background and how his food is influenced by different cultures, the menu started to make a lot more sense. You can tell he really cares about what he's making, and he's very genuine and easy to talk to. We ordered the jerk chicken tacos, the creole pasta, and the soul bird sandwich. I had asked about modifying the sandwich and he mentioned he doesn't really do modifications, which I actually respected. It felt like he really stands behind how each dish is meant to be eaten. The food ended up being really good. The pasta surprised me the most. It looked simple at first, but it was creamy, slightly peppery, and really flavorful without feeling heavy. The beef had a nice char that added a lot. The jerk chicken tacos were also really good, super juicy and flavorful, and everything worked well together. The habanero sauce wasn't very spicy, more on the sweeter side, but it complemented the dish well. There was a small mix-up with my sandwich at first, but he caught it right away, fixed it, and even let us keep the first one. Both versions were good, but the one with pickles had a better balance. The tang really pulled everything together. We ended up finishing everything, which we weren't planning on. Overall, it was just a really good experience. Good food, and a really nice conversation with the owner that made the whole visit feel more personal. We actually wanted to stop by again on our way back, but they were closed. I wish we lived closer because we'd definitely come back. It's a spot that deserves more attention.

It definitely is more of a hole in the wall vibe, which to me usually is a sign of good food. There was a steady flow of people who came in to order after us so seems like a pretty popular spot. We got the ube milk drink with boba. Had a nice amount of ube paste on the cup as you can see, they did not skimp out on it! Nice milky ube flavor after mixing. We ordered the pork lumpia, chicken pancit and lechonsilog (garlic rice plate). Everything was made to order so it was nice and fresh! Lumpia were nice and crispy, good pork flavor and on the salty side but paired well with the sweet chili sauce. The chicken and veggie pancit was freshly off the wok, even 10-15 mins into the meal it was still hot! It also was on the salty side with peppery flavor. The lechon was crunchy and cut into nice 1-2 bite pieces. The garlic rice tasted more like pepper than garlic to me, wish it had a little more garlic flavor. Overall the food was just a bit on the salty/peppery side for me, but otherwise seemed like a good place for classic Filipino food. Their menu also had other things like pho, katsu, loco moco so has different options for everyone!

I was craving pho and decided to give Saigon Bento a try. It's a little confusing because there's a Saigon restaurant and then there's this place, Saigon Bento. There's also a Saigon Bento #2. Apparently Saigon restaurant has been around for forever and is highly recommended, but was much farther, so I decided to come here instead. I honestly just like the meatballs in my pho and they were able to accommodate just this instead of their other preset dishes. It was good and packaged well for takeout! It was ready super quickly!

Somewhere between the kitchen and the table they experience a full existential crisis and dissolve into a noodle-flavored fog. You don't eat this pho so much as you drink it with regret. Then there's the robot. I want to be clear: the robot is trying its best. But a robot is not a coworker, it's a Roomba with delusions of grandeur, and pairing it with exactly one (1) visibly overwhelmed human does not equal "efficient staffing," it equals "understaffed with extra steps." I've seen this establishment's entire org chart and it's one guy and a trash can with wheels. The Vietnamese coffee and salted cold foam, though? Genuinely incredible. Immaculate. The only reason my card has ever been charged here more than once. I racked up a small fortune in reward points on the strength of that coffee alone -- and then went to redeem them, only to discover the website has apparently also fallen into a noodle-textured crisis and is completely down. So now I have points sitting there like Monopoly money for a bank that closed. Great coffee. Great foam. Genuinely inspired idea for a business. Just... catastrophically executed, like someone had a beautiful vision of a pho franchise and then handed the keys to a single tired employee and his robot intern. America needs a real pho franchise. This is not it.
