We both enjoyed pedicures that were relaxing, thorough, and expertly done. The salon is beautifully decorated, spotless, and offers a fantastic selection of colors and high-quality products. I also treated myself to a 15-minute chair massage, and it was absolutely worth it--so relaxing and performed by a very skilled therapist. Unfortunately, what should have been a relaxing experience turned into a very disappointing one. I received a spa pedicure, which cost $59, and upgraded to Dazzle Dry polish because I wanted the convenience of having my nails dry immediately and expected a longer-lasting result. With the upgrade, my total was over $70 before tip. To my surprise, within just two days, every toenail had chipped. I have had countless pedicures over the years, many with regular polish, and I have never experienced a pedicure chipping this quickly. It appeared that a top coat may not have been properly applied, so I called the salon to explain the situation. After being placed on hold, I was told that it is the salon's policy not to perform nail repairs. Let that sink in: after spending over $70 on a pedicure that lasted less than 48 hours, I was essentially being told I would have to pay again to correct the problem. While they ultimately offered to fit me in for a "one-time" repair, they made it very clear that they do not normally stand behind their work in situations like this. What disappointed me most was not just the poor durability of the pedicure, but the customer service and the salon's policy. When a service fails within 48 hours, especially at this price point, a reputable business should take responsibility and make it right without hesitation. Instead, I felt dismissed and inconvenienced. I was genuinely excited to try Rock Star Nail Salon and had hoped to become a repeat customer. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and frankly disgusted by the lack of accountability and customer care. For the prices they charge, customers deserve much better quality and service.

They did not properly clean the nails but just slopped nail polish on a poorly prepared base and left the big glob to dry. The pedicure was the same with nail polish not even covering parts of the toes. I would honestly be ashamed to do this bad of a job. I noticed that other people commented on the vibe of the shop and I have to agree that it is unpleasant. Another customer brought her own nail polish and the young woman working with her "rolled her eyes" and "sighed" and let her contempt be known behind the woman's back. From the moment you walk in the door they are right next to you breathing down your neck, rushing you to pick a nail color & insisting you get in the chair. Even if you arrive a few minutes early for your appointment. The new hires don't seem to know what they're doing or have very little experience as they keep calling others over for advice or assistance. One person kept insisting that I had acrylic nails on & would not listen to me when I said it was only dipping powder. Every single time I am there I leave with cuts on my fingers and bleeding from their carelessness or lack of skills & they barely acknowledge it. The prices have gone up and they will discount a service by a few dollars then post a "promotion" but won't honor it, stating "that service doesn't qualify because it's already discounted." The people that used to work there no longer do which is incredibly sad because they were wonderful. Even the new staff does not seem to stay very long. I'm sad to say I'll be looking for a new nail salon & will not be back to La Perle.
