Based on his assurances, I allowed my credit to be run. Ali then ran my credit through multiple banks, damaging my credit score in the process. Once it became clear that the deal wasn't happening, he completely disappeared. No follow-up. No explanation. No accountability. I was flat-out ghosted. Running someone's credit after giving them false confidence and then cutting off communication is irresponsible and unprofessional. If approval was unlikely, that should have been stated upfront instead of wasting my time and hurting my credit. Ali Altaee should be reprimanded for this behavior. This is not how a sales manager should treat customers, and it reflects poorly on Avondale Toyota as a whole. Went through the whole process for financing. I did leave some negative feedback on the documents requested for financing which I thought was a bit much for a car loan. Throughout the process the texts I would receive from the sales manager kept getting worse in the sense that they wanted more and more. Anyway, it was done and no issue at all with financing. The car arrived at the West Valley location and then Rob the manager called me and said, CARMAX is refusing to do business with me which he said was their right. Obviously they didn't like my feedback and freedom of speech or just didn't like my name and discriminating even though I am Italian. Rob refused to tell me why they will not do business with me. I called customer service and still waiting on why. It has nothing to do with financing and all just because they don't like me, my name, my nationally, or freedom of speech. Not sure why. This after I pad $2000 to have it delivered to AZ. They said they would refund me that fee but I have yet to see it. Their customer service as many .. many .. people have complained about is horrific. I an filming a complaint with the Attorney General and advise you to stay far away from CARMAX , epically this one. I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

It began back in 2017-2018 when I saw exactly the truck I wanted on the Internet. I'm a mechanic so I knew what I was looking at. The price was fair, so I bought it. (Still driving it daily) Other than gas, tires & oil changes, it hasn't skipped a beat. I work it pretty hard too carrying a ton of hay each week. My wife had been wanting a Dodge Challenger. So back in late 2019, early 2020, Bob had a nice one at a very good price. We made a deal and they even delivered it to my house! In 2020 we moved a couple hundred miles away. The roads here are horrible in the winter and my wife is destroying that beautiful car... so I talked her into a Jeep Wrangler. Bob had several. She picked out the color she wanted & again, it was delivered! They even serviced it and put new tires all the way around AFTER we bought it. I didn't ask for that. After seeing it in person & driving it, I was so impressed that I wanted one for myself! Days later, I called Bob on the phone & we made a deal on a second one. It will be here late next week. Like all the others, I expect it will be better than described. To be honest I don't need the 2nd Jeep. I just want it because it's perfect and I can't pass up a great deal. I can't remember the last time I bought something for myself so I'm overdue. I'm sure I'll enjoy it for many years. Bob might very well be the only honest used car dealer in existence. Imagine buying used cars over the phone, without seeing them first in person, knowing you got a great deal just because you trust the man you are dealing with. It truly is a good feeling.
