They are a no negotiation dealer, and have a few high price add-ons that they push including a high document fee and a cleaning and prep charge . We decided to buy and that's when problems started. Either the staff isn't well trained in using the computer program, or the program isn't a good one. Firstly, the contract was written up for the wrong car but with the right VIN. Then it took two hours to get a corrected copy. Then they put the wrong name on the receipt for the deposit. When we came back the next day with the funding, a small scuff on the car hadn't been buffed out as promised, so there was another wait. Would I buy from them again? I probably would give them a chance again. All in all, even the ridiculous no choice charge for what is basically a Scotchgard treatment, we saved between $2500-$3000.

Also, why so many workers standing around in the lobby but I have to wait hours every time I have to come down there even when I have an appointment after checking in. Ridiculous.

Based on his assurances, I allowed my credit to be run. Ali then ran my credit through multiple banks, damaging my credit score in the process. Once it became clear that the deal wasn't happening, he completely disappeared. No follow-up. No explanation. No accountability. I was flat-out ghosted. Running someone's credit after giving them false confidence and then cutting off communication is irresponsible and unprofessional. If approval was unlikely, that should have been stated upfront instead of wasting my time and hurting my credit. Ali Altaee should be reprimanded for this behavior. This is not how a sales manager should treat customers, and it reflects poorly on Avondale Toyota as a whole. I requested a quote online over the weekend and received a call Monday morning. John set me up with an appointment and ordered the windshield then and there. What was the most helpful that he called my insurer while I was on the phone with him. My insurer told me that the crack had to be larger than a silver dollar to cover replacement. They went on to say that Blue Chip was not a partner of their insurance company. I asked the insurer if that meant that they wouldn't cover the windshield if Blue Chip replaced it. John promptly jumped in and told me that the windshield would be covered 100%, but that the warranty would be covered by Blue Chip rather than my insurer. I appreciated the clarification. He told me that there would be zero out of pocket cost to me. The insurer told me that the repair would be covered and John did the rest (which was literally everything). Blue Chip replaced the windshield right in my driveway, again, at no cost to me. The service tech, Dan, was on-time and went out of his way to answer my questions, like calibration of the camera. Since my vehicle was newer, it had a camera for emergency braking and adaptive cruise control, which required calibration by an authorized tech when the windshield was replaced. Blue Chip took care of that as well. Dan showed me where the camera was mounted and why it needed to be calibrated with the windshield change. Dan was professional, competent, fast and friendly. In the end, I got a shiny new windshield installed by professionals at no cost to me. I have found my permanent glass company!

The roads here are horrible in the winter and my wife is destroying that beautiful car... so I talked her into a Jeep Wrangler. Bob had several. She picked out the color she wanted & again, it was delivered! They even serviced it and put new tires all the way around AFTER we bought it. I didn't ask for that. After seeing it in person & driving it, I was so impressed that I wanted one for myself! Days later, I called Bob on the phone & we made a deal on a second one. It will be here late next week. Like all the others, I expect it will be better than described. To be honest I don't need the 2nd Jeep. I just want it because it's perfect and I can't pass up a great deal.
