I showed up and a young guy took 2 minutes to research it before telling me Apple didn't have the battery I needed anymore and he couldn't help me. I drove a mile up the street to Computer World, and within 15 minutes they had the battery ordered from Apple. I'm sorry I bothered the staff at Best Buy with my problem. I won't do it again. UPDATE: I got the call from Computer World yesterday that they had received my battery. Dropped the phone off this morning, went out for a nice lunch, came back and it was all set to go with a brand new Apple battery installed. Be advised. BEST BUY SERVICE SUCKS. They didn't even try.

They once called me and asked me to hold without even saying who was calling, then asked about which one I wanted fixed again. I finally called them back and asked if they had switched it; they said yes and they were just going to charge it and test it, then they would call me back. I didn't believe them, so I drove out there. When I arrived they still had not tested it. They plugged it in and said that the battery was bad, even though they themselves checked it when I brought it in. They said they could swap the batteries also; I told them the other battery was bad, which I previously told told them when I brought it in. Then they said they would have to put a new one in. At this point I asked to have my iPods back. I asked again if they had switched the hold switches, to which he replied, yes. I then offered to pay for any labor, but he said, no need. I got home and found out that the battery cable was unplugged! That's why it wouldn't charge. And also that the hold switches had not been switched.... I just tried calling them to inform them of their mistakes and clear up anything, but this time they did not answer my call, and I know they are open. I did leave a message, so I will update if they call back, clear things up, or apologize for this ordeal. Again, do not trust any of your electronics at this store. Very unprofessional. This review is for the Appleton location. UPDATE: I did talk with someone from another store and verified that the part was not changed. Then later Electronics Etc from Appleton called me back and said that the guy who was supposed to change the part, did not in fact do it, and that they thought he did. Respect for them calling me back and trying to make good--that gives them some positive points. I did see some people on facebook give them good reviews. I told them I just wanted them to know what happened and that their customers should not be treated that way. They asked if they could do anything, but I declined. I will not be bringing the iPods back there. More honest communication is needed; I would not have minded waiting longer for them to fix it, but what happened was too much.

Grand Appliance and TV of Appleton exceeds expectations!!! I was looking for a Speed Queen Washer and Dryer set, and discovered Grand Appliance was a local Speed Queen dealer. Knowing I was going to buy a quality product that is manufactured by Alliance in Ripon, Wisconsin, I wanted to also make sure I was going to deal with someone that was professional, personal, and knowledgeable. Willie was this guy and more! He was on point from the very beginning, answering all my questions and doing whatever he felt was necessary to make sure I was taken care of. Between the purchase and delivery of my new washer and dryer, Grand Appliance had issues with their telephone lines (no fault of their own). This proved to not be a setback for them, as they continued to communicate with me through email and temporarily routing their phones through other store locations. Even after I made a last minute request to have a side vent kit installed on my dryer, Willie made sure my purchase was delivered as requested and on time. Emulating the characteristics of Willie, the gentlemen that delivered the washer and dryer were also outstanding. They were both very professional and cordial with my wife who was home to receive the delivery. They were also very careful to not damage any of my property, including our new puppy that was trying to nip at their ankles as they carefully maneuvered throughout my house. Well done, Gents!
