I've been wanting to write this review for nearly three months, but every time I tried to begin, I found myself overwhelmed--not because I didn't know what to say, but because I had so much to say. How do you capture an experience that was, quite literally, beyond anything you ever imagined possible? The décor for my daughter's wedding was nothing short of breathtaking. Truly, one would never think The Breakers--already one of the most magnificent venues in the world--could be transformed into something even more extraordinary. And yet, Xquisite Events did exactly that. They elevated it. They reimagined it. They created a world so magical, so captivating, that guests are still talking about it months later. Working with Xquisite Events was one of the most incredible experiences of the entire wedding journey. Jon and Yani are not just designers--they are artists, visionaries, and storytellers. Their creativity is unmatched, but what sets them apart even more is the passion and love they pour into their work. They didn't simply design our event; they internalized it. They cared as deeply as if it were their own family's celebration. Every meeting, every conversation, every walkthrough--they were present, thoughtful, and deeply invested. I am extremely detail-oriented. I don't leave a single inch of a venue unconsidered. And yet, Jon and Yani somehow managed to be even more meticulous. The precision was astonishing: every petal on every flower, every crystal shimmering on every chandelier, every texture, every color tone, every angle of every installation--it was all flawless. I was referred to Xquisite Events by my planner and The Breakers, both of whom spoke of them with the highest regard. Now I understand why. They exceeded every expectation, and then they exceeded the expectations I didn't even know I had. What touched me most was the way they treated this wedding as though it were their own. They took the time to understand my daughter's vision--her personality, her dreams, her aesthetic--and then they took the time to understand mine as well. They blended our styles seamlessly, respectfully, and beautifully. It felt like working with family, but family who just happen to be the best in the industry. There is décor, and then there is what Xquisite Events creates. There is service, and then there is the level of devotion, artistry, and heart that Jon,Yani and their incredible team bring to an event. They are, without question, in a league of their own. Working with Jon from Xquisite events to plan our wedding was a dream come true. Jon was extremely easy and flexible to work with, and took our initial ideas of what we wanted and ran with them, delivering a breathtaking final result. Throughout the process, he continually let us bounce ideas off of him and provided valuable insight and suggestions. He also continuously went above and beyond, all the way up to the day of, to ensure our wedding vision came together perfectly. Jon has an incredible attention to detail, attending to even the smallest extra detail of having our favorite flowers set at every place setting.  When the wedding weekend came around, Jon and his team at Xquisite really blew us away. They were timely, extremely organized, and worked tirelessly over 2 days to make everything come together perfectly. There were some challenges on the wedding day that the team at Xquisite had to manage, and did so with ease and a great attitude. For example, they had to move large floral trees from the ceremony to the reception site in a very short window of time. Due to their organization and preparedness, they accomplished this difficult task flawlessly. After the wedding was over, we couldn't help but reflect on the weekend and feel that Jon and team over delivered on our expectations. Nancy Gilbert gave us the fantasy setting for an outdoor wedding at Fisher Island on February 16, 2020. The venue has lots of obstacles with permits, logistics and our event was outdoors. It rained in the morning and we had to wait to set up. She gave us the most spectacular chuppah I have ever seen. The bride wanted a very organic look made with all branches and flowers in front of the enormous Banyan tree in the courtyard of the Vanderbilt mansion. The table centerpieces reflected the elegance of Fisher Island with Victorian birdcages and cascading flowers and vines. Nancy was very receptive to our ideas and suggestions. She went out of her way to help realize our vision and made many helpful suggestions. Because of the changing flower availability in the marketplace ( no peonies anywhere) she was able to achieve the same look with beautiful ranunculus and hybrid roses. read more

Xquisite Events is absolutely amazing! I don't even know where to start. I worked with Yoni and he was an absolute dream. Everyone knows planning a wedding can be stressful at times and I truly had nothing to worry about when it came to Xquisite Events. My wedding was an Indian wedding and we all know how lavish they can get. Because of covid we had an extremely small guest list which led to a smaller budget but I still wanted to provide that royal over the top feeling for my guests. They're were incredibly respectful of my budget and to be quite frank I couldn't believe how much I got for my budget. There was nothing that couldn't be done or adjusted. Every single response I got from them if there had to be an adjustment was "not a problem" or "we can do that". Decor is an extremely important staple for the ceremony and reception and for me to have the luxury and freedom to not have to worry about any of because of Xquisite was a gift in itself. In addition to all of that fabulousness, Yoni actually surprised us with making our Mandap even more elaborate by adding these gorgeous garlands of fresh orchids at no additional cost and they matched our wedding colors! Xquisite events was the first decor vendor I went to after we picked our wedding date. This place was listed as expensive on the knot but I just gave them a call anyways. They set me up with the designer-Yoni. I went in with my sister with little to no idea of what my budget was or decor expectations were. Yoni was extremely professional and passionate about his work. He gave me almost 3 hours of his time regardless of the fact that he knew there was a high chance I might not be able to go with him if the pricing doesn't meet my budget. Instead of rushing me out the door, he gave me so many good ideas and helpful tips for cutting cost on many decor items. He also reassured me that the cost breakdown they send me, I'm able to pick and choose which items I want on that list and which ones I don't. Honestly, he was hands down amazing! However with a rushed wedding and such a short time to prepare for the wedding, I was unable to reach out to them in time to work numbers and a final package. I was out of country for 2 months and when I got back Yoni was unavailable. My only regret is I didn't book him earlier. I highly suggest this decor company for your future events and for your dream wedding. If you want a smooth and happy experience around your wedding time, please try out this vendor especially for an initial consultation. He has a special gift for designing! read more

My post from a while back did not post for some reason. I am still annoyed at the thought of my experience, so I will repost: I learned of Xquisite Events (XE) through my wedding coordinator. I met with them on three different occasions and had at least 5 proposals. For some reason, I didn't feel settled about moving forward until I see an actual sample of a display. So, in good faith, I gave XE a $1,250 deposit, as they told me they wouldn't show me a display without one. I didn't sign a contract, but I also discussed my intention of doing so once I made sure they were understanding what I was trying to explain and could show me physical proof. Well, the sample display was bad, boring and unimaginative. It even had dying flowers, which an XE apologized for. The arrangement looked nothing like the pictures THEY sent ME to confirm that we were on the same page. When I asked why it looked nothing like that arrangement, the XE employee laughed saying it was an arrangement that they used at a bridal show, and had "texture" due to pieces they pulled from palm trees outside that venue, and had bugs on it. She added, "besides, with the size of the arrangement, it is way out of your budget." I thought to myself, "then why did you even show it to me and build up my expectations?" (Budget was $250-$350 per table.) After that, I decided to end things with XE, and asked for my $1,250 deposit back. The owner of the company never returned my calls until I got my wedding coordinator (who is a former employee there - which was not revealed until afterwards) to call someone there to ask him to call me back. He was very arrogant and rude to me on the phone. He kept discussing a contract, as if I had signed one, but I never signed with them. He said he read all of my emails and gathered that we did. According to XE, we did. He said "let's make this disgusting for both of us and split the difference" so I only got $650 back - and nothing to show for $625. I do NOT recommend Xquisite Events to anyone but someone with no taste and money to waste. PS - I waited 2 weeks to get my "refund" check and was told the check was delayed due to cash flow issues. The venue was transformed into a dreamland of expectations that came true for the girls and their parents. Nancy Gilbert and Xquisite events created a most spectacular wedding for me. Nancy made my vision a reality to every exact detail and it was above and beyond my wildest dreams. People cannot stop raving about the chuppah, which was EXACTLY as I imagined it. It was insanely beautiful. The flowers were out of this world. I only hope my photographers were able to capture the beauty of it all. Our family had a very positive experience working with Nancy Gilbert and the Xquisite team for our daughter's Valentine's Day wedding at the Royal Poinciana Chapel & reception at the Flagler Museum. We had heard that the flowers would be very fresh, and at the sample showing, I had to touch them to make sure they were real! It was exactly the same at the wedding, and each arrangement was more beautiful than we had even imaged. The guests were also in awe. At our first meeting, Nancy presented a large array of options, not only for the flowers, but also for the candles and table number holders. During the 9 months of planning, Nancy and the office staff were always pleasant and patient and quick to reply to our phone calls and emails. Not really just flowers, but full decoration capabilities. It was amazing. I hadn't even thought that companies would or could do this, just an afterthought really. When you have a company doing floral AND decor, the tone is much more magical. Fabric can be strewn about in artistic ways with large areas of color to compliment what you already have for wedding reception flowers. If you want pillars, damask, candles as part of the centerpiece floral vases, it seems like they will do just about anything. Working with colored lighting to enhance the atmosphere was right up our alley. I know it was my own wedding reception but it was one of the most magical evenings for not only myself, but our guests keep talking about it. read more

Nancy Gilbert and Xquisite Events created the most beautiful, magical floral centerpieces and chuppah for my daughter's wedding that you could possibly imagine. Nancy understood my daughter's desires and vision and she was a delight to work with. She always responded immediately to our calls and emails and met with us numerous times until we were satisfied. Nancy was creative and easy to work with. Our family and friends came in from all over the world and have been to many weddings but they were blown away by the beauty of the flowers. October 22, 2015 My family and I had the most wonderful experience working with Jonathan Buick and his staff for the second time around. We made our first contact with Jonathan at Exquisite Events back in 2011 when we were planning our first daughter's Wedding. And, because of our wonderful experience and Jonathan's work of perfection and elegance, we knew that we couldn't plan our second daughter's wedding without him. Our Wedding Guests and other outside hotel Guests were in awe of the beauty and elegance of all the Floral Arrangements and Designs. Our phone calls were answered promptly at all times and our meetings were scheduled in a timely manner. Im shock about the bad expierience we have with this company,unbelievable that somebody would give them a 5 star review. I had the worst expierience with this company. They have a beautiful office and people acts "very cool" . From our 1st meeting with them we were very specific and graphic about what we wanted for our wedding. On our second meeting they showed us the sample flowers for our tables: not even close of what we expected, it was pretty but nothing to do with the pictures we gave them to follow as an example. They didnt have time for a second sample nor for a 3rd meeeting so we scheduled a conference call. On our wedding day, they delivery the flowers at the time that our guest were arriving, they didint complete the look of the hoopa, the omitted all the LED candles that were suposed to be on the tables, ruining the romantic look of the evening, my bouquet that since day one I request a tear drop bouquet was round and nothing close to all the pictures I sent of the bouquets I like. Also our account manager (Jon Buick) was never available, unreachable and didnt even showed up on my wedding day. So unprofessional, for such as big event.
