BBS accredited since 2003! Great place with reasonable pricing. The labor they charged me at $80/hr…read morewhich seemed fair, they explained what was wrong with the van and walked me through the repairs that were needed. Got a transmission rebuilt with an after market transmission cooler added on to help out with my stop and go driving. They also paid for the tow to get it to them which came out to being about $70 savings. I highly recommend this place. I will return to have a followup check.

This business is operated by crooks. Last November I had them rebuild the transmission in my 1998…read moreFord Explorer. The radiator was mixing water and transmission fluid. I couldn't afford to get it repaired. It sat 2 1/2 years. I did purchase a radiator from a dealer that checked it out for any leaks. There was none. I paid for them to rebuild my transmission nearly $3,500.00. More than the Explorer is worth because I am going to keep it. When I picked it up. It smoked a little and smelt like transmission fluid. I called the shop and was told to drive it and see if this issue stopped. I drove to Cottonwood AZ and back to the Mesa Cemetery to visit my Father resting place. I checked the fluid level at the Cemetery. It was empty. Nothing showed. I was going to take it to the shop. On the way to the shop on the 202, the Explorer began to shutter and loss power. So instead of going to the transmission shop, I headed to my home. It stopped running when I pulled into my parking spot. Wouldn't start. The fuel pump and filter were clogged and not allowing it to get fuel to the engine. I couldn't afford to get it repaired so it sat from December 2025 to August 27, 2026. I hired a certified mechanic who is experienced to get my Explorer running. New fuel pump and filter. Oil change. Plugs, wires. Installed. He test drove it and checked the fluids, including the radiator. Coolant was good and all other fluids right except the transmission was very low. The next morning I drove to the transmission shop (0930). It had less than 1,000 miles on the rebuild. I called the shop to check on the status of the Explorer 3x's times. Getting voicemail. Left messages each time. No response. I believe that my issue should have been a priority not just another job. On Friday morning I once again called. Left message. I went to their website. Called the number listed and got a live person. After explaining my concerns he put me on hold. Came back and informed me that the reason for the leak and smoke was the dip stick plug on the transmission was no good. They couldn't get the part till Monday. I became irrate and informed him that I needed it because I am moving. Anyways it escalated from a bad dip stick plug to a ruptured radiator. Required repair is not covered under warranty. It's my honest opinion that they put fluid in my radiator. They didn't even fix the dip stick plug, which should have been done with the rebuild. They are crooks trying to take advantage of a disabled senior citizen. They are unscrupulous in their business practices. Be forewarned. Super Discount Transmission is not a business to use. The video I took when I picked up the Explorer is too long to post

I had a terrible experience with AllState Transmission and would not recommend their services. I…read morewas charged extra for storage fees on my car, but when I picked it up, the part they supposedly fixed was still not working properly and my transaxle sign popped up before I even made the car home. When I brought this up, Nicole was extremely unprofessional and told me I was "lucky" they would even fix it without charging me more for the new parts they had to replace on my transmission--despite the fact that the part had failed and should have been properly repaired in the first place. To make matters worse, when I asked for an invoice showing the corrected repairs, they refused to provide one, leaving me without proper documentation for my records. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a service that was not done correctly, was overcharged, and was then denied basic proof of what was (or wasn't) fixed. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund on the storage fees considering I was charged more than what I was told and for the car having not been completed correctly in the timeline under which I was informed and billed for. Had to leave work multiple times for their mistake but was told I was lucky to have a fixed car, which I am, but some good customer service would have been nice too. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. A reputable shop should stand by their work, treat customers with respect, and provide clear and accurate invoices. And customer satisfaction is supposedly their 100% priority but Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Five-Star Review for Allstate Transmission…read more Allstate Transmission is exactly what you hope to find in an auto repair shop--family-owned, honest, and fair. We have an early-2000s Ford Thunderbird, a very special vehicle that has been in our family for years. We initially brought it to a large corporate repair shop in Cave Creek and were quoted $3,500-$4,500 for transmission work. That estimate didn't sit right. After doing extensive online research, I reached out to Allstate Transmission and spoke directly with Nicole, an owner. She clearly explained the inspection and repair process, set realistic expectations, and even walked me through a worst-case scenario that came in at just under $2,000. We transported the car to Allstate and were extremely pleased with the transparency of the estimate process and the consistent communication throughout the transmission rebuild. The transmission carries a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, and when we picked up the car, it shifted and ran like new--no leaks, no issues. After living in Arizona for two years, it's incredibly reassuring to finally have a shop we can truly trust with our vehicles. Integrity, common sense, and quality workmanship--thank you, Nicole. You run a great shop, and Allstate Transmission comes highly recommended.
