We impulsively decided to go parasailing on a beautiful day and thankfully they had 4 spots opened that day! The sea was ruff due to wind so we stayed in the bay and didn't go into the ocean but there was still wonderful views! The crew were funny and very experienced. While others were in the sky we got a nice boat ride around the bay, be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen as there is no shade. It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought (I'm afraid of heights) but it was so smooth and I felt secure. At the end they dipped everyone and thanks to our friends they practically dunked us, I was wet up to my chest. I got a little scared during that because the water pulls your legs back but the boat is pulling you forward but they got us back in the air. Next time I wouldn't want to be dunked like that but it was fun. read more

Had an amazing experience with David and Caden! Saw a dolphin within the first 5 minuets of us being on the boat! Very respectful and very nice. Caden came around frequently asking everyone if we needed anything to drink and David let my kids go up and honk the horn! My kids had a blast. I would definitely recommend going here. We loved that it was a smaller boat as well where it wasn't so crowded like the other businesses bigger boats. We also got to watch the sunset which was very beautiful. read more

I booked parasailing for me & my husband a week ago so it wouldn't be sold out. Our dive charter moved times and Xtreme H20 was super nice about rebooking us on a later time, no issue. My only complaint was that they told us to check in 45 min early, but their boat was late and our tour didn't go on time, so I wasted an hour waiting around. Once on the boat it was rocking and rolling. I love that they give you the option the buy photos and they dive you an SD card when you get back to the dock. We had an awesome time! read more

Our jet ski instructor Matt did a great job going over everything with us and Our Dolphin jet ski tour guide Ethan was very helpful with locating dolphins and within 10 mins we saw our first couple dolphins and then we saw more as we rode thru the jetty's! Ethan then took us around the bay showing us different areas before letting us have free time. Ethan and Matt are a very big plus for Xtreme! Hope to see them next time. Process was easy to rent jet skis. Had such an amazing experience with them . They charge $100 for an hr it's reasonable.

$500 fine for going into the gulf, was not informed until getting the final safety brief. Also drop-offs to switch kids isn't allowed like at most places. Neither of these bits of info are on the website or the signed waivers. Also we had to sign a statement saying we watched a safety video..:but they don't have a safety video... Jet skis really need repair. The sealed compartment on 2 of our three was missing the handle and the guy's next to us just had an open cubby. Been coming to destin for years, first time using this company...would recommend finding another place for jet ski adventures in Destin. read more

We rented 2 jet skies from them. They were very pleasant and easy to deal with. They have two locations they can possible put you at. For the jet ski rental we were at the harbor blvd location. For the one hour rental was waste of time and money. It took 20 mins to idle out of the no wake zone to the areas they want you to go. One of the jet skies wouldn't go over 20 mph before shutting off. Of course we didn't find that out until we made it through the no wake zone. Going out and back only left about 20 mins of ride time. Not worth using if your at this location We mentioned it to the staff and the guys were very apologetic but that was it. read more

We had such a fun time! We had a group of five on the dolphin tour and got to see dolphins swimming right around us and even under us. Also going out into the gulf was a blast, our guide tried to find sharks for us to see but no luck today. The jet skiis are well maintained and all the staff was friendly and helpful. Booked a trip to crab island for 10:00 on the crab island runner, we received a text at 9:00 the night before that the trip had been cancelled; called and rescheduled for 10:00 the following day, at 8:09 am THE MORNING of OUR TRIP received a message trip cancelled for TODAY; when I called I was told "you can rent jet skis or a pontoon" no regard or compensation for our time whatsoever. Going into this activity I was super nervous because I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad I was able to brush away my fears because I had SO MUCH fun! My husband and I purchased two parasailing flyer vouchers the day before at $45 which wasn't too bad. They only had two time slots left which weren't bad because they were too early or too late. They have two options of flying sites: Destin Harbour and Crab Island. I had gave them a call prior to booking because I wasn't too sure which one to choose. During the call, the employee had told me that even though I purchased Crab Island, they would just redirect me to Destin Harbour due to the weather and wind which was fine by me! After booking, my husband and I decided to sign the waivers online to make the next morning easier for check in, which was at 11am. If you are under 18 yrs old you do have to have a parent or legal guardian sign your online waiver and I believe to fly as well. They also send you a confirmation email and text about your purchase BUT also instructions on where to park and what address to enter in your GPS and also what time to arrive. After arriving the next morning, check-in was smooth and we waited till the crew called us in. Kyle and I forgot the captain's name we're AWESOME! They made sure we knew everything we needed to know and reassured us that there was nothing to be a afraid of. They give you a vest and strap you into a harness and you just wait your turn. Once it's your turn you have the choice to either dip or stay dry and let me just tell you DIP BABY DIP! It makes the experience so much more memorable! I was hesitant at first but seeing the first group go gave me the courage. You do have the choice to bring your phone up and I did because I wanted to get some pictures up there! You are up there for 10 mins or so but it's really beautiful and relaxing, in total you have 1 hour including the boat which was great! I definitely want to try parasailing again! But you also have the choice to be a spectator and watch from the boat and enjoy the boat ride! Also tip your crew! They do a great job on making sure you have a great experience :-) read more

We spent an afternoon out at Crab Island in Destin, Florida and rented two WaveRunners from here. My wife was on a pontoon with her parents and brother, so my sister in-law and I picked up the WaveRunners and meet them out at Crab Island. This company has two locations so make sure you go to the right one. When we arrived to pick them up the staff was laid back and friendly. They employees were very knowledgable also. When we picked picked up the WaveRunners the guys working the dock went over safety procedures and the companies policies. They were very knowledgable about the equipment. They will also take a quick video of you sitting on the WaveRunners to show you on it and to document any damage on them before you leave so you do not get charge for any damage. FYI, the guys who work on the docks work for tips so make sure you have some cash to tip them. If you have never ridden a WaveRunner the ones they have here have two compartments, one of which is considered a dry compartment for a phone and wallet. I would definitely rent from here again. Also, you might see some sea life while riding or have a nurse shark follow you for a little bit like I had following me. read more

My 72-year-old MIL was in town for a visit and had never gone parasailing before. Friends of ours recommended Xtreme so I looked them up on Google. I booked online, did the waiver online, etc. Couldn't have been easier and more efficient. We arrived 15 mins early, checked in at the little green house, got our wristbands, and boarded the boat. My hubby wanted to go on the boat but not "fly", so we got him a different type of ticket (less expensive too), so keep that in mind as an option. Chris and Will were the Captain and First Mate, both super friendly, very knowledgeable, and helpful. They strap you in and off you go! So peaceful up there and you're up about 400 ft! We saw dolphins underneath us...how COOL is that?! We had a pretty big group on the boat so got to watch everyone and enjoy the boat ride when we weren't "flying". The boat was spotless. Music playing as you're tooling around, etc. Make sure you bring tip money as the crew works for tips! Go, you will NOT be disappointed! read more

We decided on a whim to go jet skiing. Took our chances on a weekday and just showed up. Luckily, they had slots open and the wait was only an hour. My hubby had to do the boating test anyways and we had to complete our paperwork. The jet skis were in good shape and the guys that helped us get both on and off were awesome. I kinda wish we chose the other location as we used the harbor one so the ride out was longer. Not a huge deal. The reason I knocked off a star, and quite frankly almost only gave 3 stars, was because the ladies in the hut at check in were simply rude. No pleasantries, nothing. And, they seemed annoyed that they were working. they didn't even really explain everything and seemed irritated if you asked a question. Good thing the guys on the dock were so great and made up for the lackluster customer service on the front end. My wife and I rented a jet ski and had a blast. Our experience was really good. The parking is at the bottom of the ramp so drive all the way down and they will show you where to park. Be prepared, the cost does not include a cash tip to the guys that help you get the equipment in the water. They will remind you to tip them. Also, be prepared to purchase insurance. They will go over the options, but it is an additional addon. You will have access to a huge body of water to have fun in. We've rented pontoons from these folks the last two summers and it's been a great experience both times. Some of the best pricing around. Friendly and helpful staff to get you on and off the dock. Generous with letting our kids use the fancy jet ski life jackets to take on the pontoon (rather than the orange squares). Our boat this year was a 2019 model- extremely nice. We were asked to arrive at 2:15 pm for our 3pm ride time. In which we did. However because of the un-organization of this company, our ride time was cut short. We paid $158 total for 50 mins for a jet ski, which is completely irrational and I would advise others to take their money elsewhere. The manager on duty at the time with the pink hair was unprofessional as well. She said I was being, "that guy" for, attempting to get what we paid for which was a full hour. It should be NOT be a lost against the customers because of the business lack of organization and scheduling. We just left this place, and it wasn't the experience we had hoped for, but I needed to write this review. Our first family trip to Destin, Fl, and this was one of the first excursions I personally planned for us. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a super friendly gentleman in the parking lot who offered us guidance without request and gave specific instructions. When we got to boat dock, we realized how busy it was (July 4th), what were we thinking, right?! Despite the chaos, every single employee was welcoming, friendly, and informative. We have three children, two six-year-olds, and a twelve-year-old. My daughter was super scared and almost didn't get on. However, when the gentleman explained the operations and safety, she felt good to go. We'll here be where it got interesting. I have never even ridden a jet ski before much less operated one. In my head, I pictured carefree cruising like James Garretson from Tiger King. What actually happened is I turned into a complete pansy and froze in fearless than 10 minutes in the ride. Driving slow caused us to have a pretty rocky ride on the waves. One of the guides tried his absolute best and hung back, told me to drive faster for a smooth ride, but each time I did, I felt a big bump and would slow down again. This is probably ridiculous for most people, but for this mama, with a six-year-old on the back, it was too overwhelming. Every irrational fear played out in my head. We turned around and headed back to the dock. My boys and husband were bummed pretty bad but came back with us. I was sooooo humiliated and sad for everyone. But the way the employees treated us when we told them what happened... is something I won't forget. Such compassion and kindness. They offered a full refund or option to reschedule. I left embarrassed and in tears (which is totally out of character) but full of gratitude for the way we were treated. As soon as we have some practice on our local lake with tamer waters, we will return to this spot. Highly Recommended! read more

2 days in advance we book 5 jets skis for a 1 hr rental beginning at 9:30 am. at Xtreme H2O on Harbor Blvd. We filled out everything online ahead of time and showed up at 9:00 am (like they told us). They were busy & it took a full hour for them to check us in and process us. After finally getting our life jackets on and heading down the dock as we were just about to get on the jet skis ... we were THEN told we couldn't go out because it would put them behind schedule. We complained and said that we did EVERYTHING asked of us and that them running behind wasn't our fault. No amount of talking or reasoning helped. They said "you can reschedule or get a refund. We asked for an explanation and the girl said "I just work here". I got angry & they got rude. So I also got rude. POOR customer service and VERY poorly ran business. I will not return and I suggest you avoid this place. I would have given ZERO stars if that were an option. End result was we were rescheduled at a different location 5 hours later... which totally ruined our day which we had planned out in advance, but I had promised my kids I would take them on Jet Skis for the first time. 214 Harbor Blvd location is TERRIBLE! read more

Xtreme H2O was one of the highlights of our trip to beautiful Destin, FL. We booked a jet ski dolphin tour and had a blast! Our guide was a man who they call "The Waterboy", Good ol' Bobby was a great guide who was awesome at finding dolphins. We launched at 9:30am, and played until 10:45am. We got to see many dolphins, a sting ray, and simply enjoy the emerald waters while zipping around on the jet ski. At 10am, Bobby gave us 45 min of free time to play and have some fun. While we were out there, we were able to find 2 more dolphins swimming around. We followed them for about 10 minutes. While following them, they slammed the gas! For a good while we were going side by side, but they got going quickly. As I sped up on the jet ski, the dolphins started to play in our wake. That part was pretty awesome. They only played for about 1-2 minutes, then they disappeared. But that experience was my favorite part. I was very grateful for Rose and the rest of the staff who helped us get signed in and geared up for the tour. We even decided to come back later that day to Parasailing, at $40 per person, it was a steal! Being able to fly 800 feet up in the air and look at the emerald coast was breath taking, we met some very friendly people on the boat and enjoyed our time. My friends and I were planning a trip to Destin in July (2014) and we all wanted to experience parasailing for the first time. I called to schedule and the young lady that answered was polite, efficient and informative. It was a smooth transaction. Once we found the place (a little off the of the main road) we were impressed with the friendliness and warmth of the staff. We were concerned that all 3 of us won't be able to ride together due to the listed weight restrictions; but they assured us it shouldn't be a problem. The chutes can actually handle more weight than listed but the weather conditions can affect that ... lucky for us it was great weather. After parking, checking-in, using the restroom and take a few pics - the boat was there and ready to load up. The captain and crew member (sorry it's been a few months so I can't remember their names, but they are in the photo) were very friendly, funny and upbeat. Now, my group is pretty friendly so we make things fun wherever we go ... and they joined in right with us. It was good, because there is down time when other groups are parasailing (we had 5 groups that tour). When it was our turn they lined us up, strapped us in and off we went! If you bring water cameras they will strap them to your life vest so you won't drop it and can take selfies lol!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful up there. We had great weather so we were able to so out to the gulf for our ride. And we did opt for the "dip" at the end! Our group had differences on how much of a dip we wanted. My cousin wanted a toe dip, my bff wanted a butt dip and I wanted a neck dip! Somehow ... they made all of us happy!?! My side dipped up to my face while my cousin's side only got her legs (which left my bff at a thigh dip)! I have no clue how they did it ... but they did. AND since we purchased the photo package they even video taped the dip! We all had a great laugh about that video. Great experience! read more

And the water was very rough and slightly scary to be in.. we were later told that it is always smoother in the mornings! although we still had fun we'll always try to go back in the a.m. in the future. This place is awful!!!!! Zero customer service---the tow guy and mechanic were great, but gosh it was not their fault they could not repair the down ski! They tried and could not! Well.....this is where nightmare begins 9:36 one wave runner dies mid channel--low voltage---so we get to beach call on hold 20 minutes being 4th person in que---call other number-10 am answers---yes sir we will call u right back---nothing ----10:20 we call again----oh where are u---gave them mile marker----30 minutes late tow gets there!!!! We had 1 cell phone, a teen ager, no water or sunscreen!!!! Temp Feels like 101!!!!! Tow guy works on it for 15 minutes then towed to FWB --Mechanic works on it another 30 minutes!!! Internals are dead!!!!! Husband took the other one back and they blamed us---what???? We could not leave the other---broken person!!!!! I offered to pay for the 30 minutes we actually played and they both ran, but Kay Tucker manager said nope you have to pay because WE caused cancellations- Are u kidding me!??? Your ski broke!!! I have almost sun poisoning on 2 people and it was miserable!!!!! An adventure supposed to be fun ---turned NIGHTMARE!!! Five star hands down. Not only are they a great company to rent from but, the people who work for them are amazing. The ladies we dealt with from start to end of it all were amazing, super kind and very helpful. Yesterday we went parasailing and BIG THANKS to Brandon and Jared who were our caption and matey. Brandon got everyone in their chutes and things quickly and made us feel very comfortable. Jared was such a funny guy too who drove the boat. We also rented Jet Ski's/ Wave runners from Xtreme H2O and it was an amazing experience as well. They guy who helped us get on and off the Jet ski's was really quick and to the point on things we needed to know. My arms are so tired from all the fun we had. 4hours might have been too long for me personally... I'm fried. We were able to literally ride up next to dolphins.. it was amazing. We did a jet ski dolphin tour and parasailing with H20 Extreme. Our tour guide, Brandon, was very knowledgeable with knowing where to go to find dolphins. We were able to go out in the golf and in around the bay. We even got time on our own to cruise around were we encoutnered tons of dolphins. In my opinion, it was a much better way to see dolphins than on a boat filled to capacity, just hoping for a glimpse of them. This was our first time parasailing. We were with 3 other groups. The crew were fun, knowledgeable, safe and easy going. The experience was amazing. We felt we had plenty of air time and enjoyed cruising around in the boat while others went. We had them dip our feet in the water while others enjoyed a pretty decent dunk. The office staff was super friendly and accommodating. I called in the morning before our dolphin tour and they said they would be more than happy to change the time of our tour (it was in the low 60's). Being from Minnesota, that's balmy for us! But we appreciated their willingness to accommodate. I would highly recommend H20 Extreme and will be certain to use them again if we make a trip back to Destin. read more

DISCRIMINATION ALERT! Worst experience ever. We were discriminated against because my fiancée did not SPEAK fluent english (although he does UNDERSTAND the language). He was denied being a driver although he had his permit and passed the exam, therefore we were not allowed to rent because of the LANGUAGE he spoke. So my question is, what if a mute/speechless person were to go? Would they be discriminated against too? It's embarrassing for a company like this to act this way in this day and age. This place is clearly racist. When we initially arrived to this shack (before we got out the car) a representative from the shack came up to our car questioning our presence. The sign says "Xtreme H2O parking" wtf did they think we were parking there? When we walked up to the shack van we were questioned and told to take a test. Without given any information about the test. After finishing the test, failing the rude cashier would not allow us to retake the test. She said we would have to wait 24 hours. Then had the nerve to ask us to pay for the failed test. And informed us that we could not jet ski. No service=no money. read more
