This place is clearly racist. When we initially arrived to this shack (before we got out the car) a representative from the shack came up to our car questioning our presence. The sign says "Xtreme H2O parking" wtf did they think we were parking there? When we walked up to the shack van we were questioned and told to take a test. Without given any information about the test. After finishing the test, failing the rude cashier would not allow us to retake the test. She said we would have to wait 24 hours. Then had the nerve to ask us to pay for the failed test. And informed us that we could not jet ski. No service=no money. read more

My husband and I booked a parasailing trip and a jet ski dolphin tour and both were the highlights of our trip. If you book more than one activity they offer a discount on the second which was nice. The check in process is smooth and all of the employees were helpful and knowledgeable. Chris (Yeager?) and Kyle took care of us and kept the laughs going on our parasail adventure. I hate to say I forgot our Jet Ski captain's name but he worked so hard to help us find dolphins and keep everyone together. (We got to see around six dolphins!) We booked and paid online well in advance. Arrived with our printed out confirmation and the company cancelled our reservation "with intentions of booking us at their other location." Of course their were no time slots available to fit us in. Really need to work on accountability and work on customer service. We walked away with a refund and dissatisfaction. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. We booked a pontoon Wednesday morning, they called about 20 minutes before our departure time saying that winds were too strong and they couldn't send any boats out. Understandable, but we asked why we were not notified sooner (already packed up all the kids in the car and were driving down to the dock when we got the news). They indicated that we can look on any weather website and if there is a wind advisory, they would not be sending any boats out and we would get refunded. Here comes Thursday morning, we look up online and see there is a wind advisory so based on THEIR instructions we stay at home. We call and left a voicemail to confirm we are getting a refund prior to our reservation time, and we don't get a call back until about 2 hours later. They proceed to tell us (very rudely) that they've been waiting on us to arrive and that there would be no refunds given. They didn't call us to tell us it was cancelled so there is "nothing they can do". The even said that they would have to go back and check their recordings to validate the instructions we were given the day prior and the voicemail we left. Excuse me, what? So we frantically pack up our stuff, haul the kids in the car and rush down to the dock. When we show up at the dock, they tell us THEY ARE NOT SENDING ANY BOATS OUT BECAUSE OF WIND ADVISORY and they would refund us. You have GOT to be kidding me. Why was the messaging different with the women (super snippy and rude) on the phone and the people at the dock? I understand weather cannot be predicted and things happen, but this could have been ENTIRELY avoided. What an absolute waste of time. read more

Very disappointed with our rental with you this year. Last year was our first year renting a pontoon and it was awesome. This time thinking we had a full tank of gas like before we started out with a little less than half. We were almost to crab island before noticing we had 1/4 of a tank. Your staff told us that should have been plenty with that much. Also said we could have turned around came back to fill up. Also...we could have went to the harbor town and got more gas. Said also we could have called (which I did) they said they would give me a call back (which they didn't). When we got back to the dock 1 hour early and almost out of gas, they young man told us we should have have plenty of gas and they never fill them up full. We said it wasn't enough gas since the motor was too small. The one we had last year was a 90. Not one staff member but 2 argued w us saying they had never had above a 70 on these boats. All the wrong comments and solutions (or the lack there of) from a business! very disappointing! We won't rent from them again! read more

Rented jet skis for one hour from Xtreme H20. Promptly answered the phone and made a same day reservation. When we arrived, they were very friendly, explained how to use the jet skis in a simple manner and let us be on our way. The rates are very fair, and the jet skis they offer are very fast. On the day we went, since the waves were calm, we could go into the Gulf - but mostly I think they stick to the bay. Their location is great, it is jsut a couple minutes out of the no wake zone (much closer than rental locations further down 98 east). I'd definitely return. Great people to work with! read more

We had never rented a boat in the Fort Walton/ Destin area but have to say we were extremely happy with the choice we made through Tripshock. We rented a 12 passenger pontoon boat from H2O Extreme sports and were very happy with our choice. The boat itself was topnotch! Not only was the price reasonable (9 hours) but the staff went above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable! Bobby and Aaron (Fort Walton) had the best attitudes for newbies and were so laid back and chill with any questions/ concerns we had. And even when we brought the boat back they were friendly. TERRIBLE and rude service! First time I called to book they were so rude on the phone. We ended up renting two pontoon boats for 4 hours each regardless (big mistake) we got there an hour early for our 9:30 boat time, and the service was so slow and rude, we waited in the HOT sun for over an hour just to get helped by them, then still didn't get on the boat till 11:15 (literally only because they were so slow at the front desk) and they were not accommodating when we asked for a time extension or a partial refund so we spent over $1000, and only got to use the boats for 2 hours instead of the 4 we paid for.. such a rip off, do not use these people! THEN THE BEST PART IS we called the next day to try to work it out with the manager and she was TERRIBLY RUDE and tried to pay us a small amount of money to take our reviews down and called us immature for writing a bad review online.. and acted like the whole situation was our fault that we were dissatisfied then insulted us for writing an honest review online.. so unprofessional it was insane! BTW the two men who helped us get our stuff on the boat were very nice and felt so bad for us but they couldn't do anything for us, but other than these two men all the front desk staff were RUDE. read more

If could give 0 stars I would because the customer service was AWFUL. Our party arrived 25 minutes before the reservation started and they wouldn't take us because we had to be 30 minutes early. Considering the great deal of traffic, we were 5 minutes late, but what's the big deal? We didn't mind if the waiver signing took more than 25 minutes (which it shouldn't) because we would sacrifice our time on the water since it was technically our fault. Not only were they extremely rude to our party, but they wouldn't even negotiate a shorter activity for the same price. We had an amazing time on our jet ski dolphin tour. There is no better way to do it! I felt sorry for all the people on the dolphin tour boats straining to see the dolphins and we were able to ride along with them right by our skis! Our guide was very nice and and helped us get the most of our time. We spent most of our free time back in a cove in the bay where the dolphins hang out. Probably saw 40 or more dolphins total. After the hour tour we had 30 minutes to play! Overall it was an awesome experience. read more

Service was the best we have seen. Our son wasn't feeling well as soon as we were about to go on the jet skis. Instead of getting upset as they had to get us ready they went the extra mile to make it not a big deal and encouraged him to wait it out. What made it a bigger deal is that they were genuinely nice about the whole situation and understanding. They also quickly allowed us to switch our time to let my son feel better. Second time renting jet ski's from Xtreme H2O Sports. Again, a terrific experience. The owner Jason and his staff are SUPER frIendly and helpful, happily answering questions you know they hear 100 times a day. They clearly care about their customers, and work hard to give you a positive and professional (yet informal) experience. H2O made renting a pair of jet skis (one for me and one shared by two 18 year olds) a breeze. They even arranged for the necessary boating license test there on site. Don't be put off by their sparse facilities and "off the path" location. They are actually easy to find, and their small facility gets the job done. Also, their location right next to the bridge is great, getting you out of the No Wake Zone and jet skiing immediately. I will definitely use Xtreme H2O Sports on every visit to Destin. Horrible business practices and absolutely rude customer service. Called in the morning to book parasailing for 8 people. I called 2 hrs later to add 1 more flyer and 2 riders. Which was all confirmed and on a recorded line. We showed up only to be told they have no room for riders. Obviously inconvenienced we asked if we could reschedule and the rude ass girl said we would be charged the full amount. She then mentioned it was all recorded so we listened to the seconded call and sure enough we booked 9 flyers and 2 riders. Being that the couldn't move the 2 flyers that booked later we where left to cancel to whole thing. The rude ass girl gave us 2 options where if we booked for Saturday she would wave the rider fees but if we went today we would have to pay in full. Horrible business practices and they just lost out on over $300. Owner must be so proud to have idiots that work for them like that. Now they won't even answer the phone when you call them. Driving up this place is a bit sketchy looking but it is alright once you get the paperwork started. I rented a jet ski for a few hours and with me and another rider, I managed to get it up to 53 mph - plenty fast. The ski was a bit banged up, and they do not offer insurance and instead assess damages and charge you on the spot after your ride is complete. I was nervous going over all the damages already on the ski fearing I may miss something. Fortunately I didn't and I didn't incur any damage while on the water. Overall a positive experience. I would rent from them again. The most important thing to me is the skis being fast. They remove the governors from the skis so they have unlimited top-end. read more

I had a great time we rented wave runners for an hour, we coasted in the no wake zones and we breezed in the bay and in the gulf. You're usually tired after 30 minutes especially when/if you're really chopping at the waves and we were so we swung by Crab Island to get some rest and there we hung out with the boaters as we relaxed in shallow waters. I really don't like how they make you park the wave runner. You have to pull it up onto this narrow docking station and the direction given isn't really clear and it could cost YOU. There I was pulling in, I thought it was my turn to pull in but while waiting for direction the kid directing people in started talking to the group on the last wave runner that he had directed in. As I was nearing the the narrow opening to dock my wave runner I decided to make a u turn so that I didn't collide. There the young man looked up and said he was ready for me. I tried to steer in but I missed the narrow opening and I nicked the vessel. Frustrated he said, "Follow me I'll get you in." At this point he decided to actually guide me in. So after I was parked the guy examined the wave runner where I had nicked the docking station and he asked me to stay behind to report the damage. Luckily when the supervisor came I told him what happened and he let me go and they didn't charge me. read more

We made reservations for a pontoon and 2 jet skis for 12pm, And man are we glad we did! It was the last of the pontoons since it was afternoon time. Usually, during summer time, these boats get rented out and reserved by the morning. We got there with our party of 14 and it was so convenient. Parking was plentiful which is always a plus since we were packed in two vehicles. Going up to the line, there were people already waiting but good thing we had reservations. We were assisted quickly, confirmed and signed all the waiver forms. There was a brief course of how to operate the pontoons and jet skis. The whole process took less than 5 minutes. We took the pontoons and jet skis to Crab Island which is basically a dune with waist deep waters where all the pontoons and jet skis congregate. You can Jump off and wade and play in the water. It was such an amazing experience. They even have floating boats that sell food and drinks. Xtreme made our experience so enjoyable with no hassle at a very reasonable price. We definitely recommend them if you plan on taking a vacation in Destin, FL. read more

This place was great. Rented 3 jet skis for an hour. Called and got them the same day. My son had to take the boaters test but was able to do that right there. The people are super friendly and the rates were very reasonable. They took 5 mins or so to go over some basic safety stuff and explain the jet skis and we were out on the water. Their launch is right next to crab island if you are interested in that sort of think. We just zipped around the bay and were lucky enough to follow a pod of dolphins. Disappointed. Did the dolphin tour. Very rough water. Only saw a pelican. Guide went way too fast. I didn't enjoy myself. Paid $110 for and hour and a half. First hour was supposed to be dolphin spotting. The guide just flew ahead of me and it was really rough. So rough we didn't go to the Gulf but some backwater canal. Took our family of 7 out today for our first time parasailing, and it was awesome! Lee and Jim (I sincerely hope I'm remembering their names correctly because they were great) were fantastic with us first timers, especially the kids. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to parasail in the area. They also have jet skis and pontoon boat rentals, and fishing excursions. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the location issue. They have 2 locations in Destin, one on Calhoun next to Dewey's, which is well marked and easy to find, and the other one is "somewhere over by AJ's". We, of course, showed up to the wrong location, and then were unable to find the other place because there is no signage. When I called to say how the heck are you supposed to get in this place, we can't find it, Will answered and told me because of their lease they're not allowed any streetside advertising. That's absurd. So, we missed our initial 10:30am reservation time because of that. They were very apologetic and friendly about it though, and as we didn't have any other plans for the day, they rescheduled us and we took a 4pm time slot over at the Calhoun location, and spent the time between at Beasley Park. It all worked out for us, and like I said before, the crew was fantastic, and it was all in all a great experience! read more
