If you get to go up to the Y Lounge, I highly recommend going for breakfast. The service is impeccable. You definitely feel like you're treated like VIP from the moment you walk in. The fruits were perfectly ripe and they beautifully presented. I thought the bread looked a little dry but the sourdough toast had to be one of the best I've ever had from a breakfast bar. They had fancy little jam jars with pads of butter coins embossed with their signature Y logo. I think I had 2 or 3 cups of the shrimp and grits. I washed it down with delicious orange juice and finished with a beautiful vanilla latte. It was a great way to start the day and the view is amazing up there. read more

Now this is a resort lounge I could get on board with! First, as most hotel lounges, it is self serve, but they do have table service. Food is plentiful. They have a salad, chips, deli meats different kinds of breads with spreads, pizza, Mac and cheese and desserts. The food was tasty, the husb enjoyed all the foods he got. I didn't eat many of the foods since the foods contain cheese or tomato. The servers were attentive, the husb asked for a beer that they had to look for and they found it! I wish they had more options for dessert though. The view is great from the lounge. We sat in a well lit area. You do have to pay a bit more for it, we splurged and stayed in the executive suites. The lounge is well kept, all the furniture looks great. The restroom was really clean. It is open until 2am. We came back down a bit after 1am, only the bar was open, no food :(. Great perk to anyone staying in a suite at the hotel. You receive complimentary breakfast and pre-dinner snacks. Breakfast is a delicious buffet with hot options such as quiche, pancakes, and oatmeal. They also have plenty of fruit, pastries, and bagels with fresh toppings. Coffee and juices included. For dinner the buffet offers sliders, salads, some type of pasta dish, fruit & cheese, and of course desserts and drinks. Alcoholic drinks are additional but are available. This is such a beautiful space at Yaamava', perfect for a quick breakfast or a sunset cocktail! We loved the outdoor seating area since the weather was perfect for it when we were there, but there are some nice spots inside by the bar as well. We found that the seating areas closest to the food were a bit too crowded, so wander away a bit and you'll find some great options. The food choices were decent both for breakfast and in the evening, definitely enough to get you by until the next meal. Definitely check it out if you have access! read more

Amazing view! Amazing small bites! Amazing cocktails! That's all you need at a lounge, right? The small bites this evening were amazing. I had a variety of macarons, chocolate covered strawberries, nuts, and bacon wrapped dates. It really hit the spot for a little flavor for the evening before dinner. Tried the Ferdinand later in the evening, which is michter's bourbon, house made aromatized wine, house made allspice dram bitters, applewood smoked. The aroma of the beverage and the taste gave me chills. The atmosphere is pretty chill for a Tuesday. I believe the access to this little find is for suite guests and diamond/turquoise card members. Music isn't loud, although the speakers in the outdoor patio sounded a bit blown out. They turned the outdoor speakers off, so they must have realized how bad that sounded. Although the scenery of rooftops aren't that amazing, but the skyline of the early evening and night look epicly amazing! The service is too notch. I had the same server both experiences I had today. When I went to the y lounge the atmosphere was amazing the paintings on the wall to the entrance of the y lounge were loving once I enter it was a sight to see the layout of the food was amazing very flavorful and it stayed full through the night when I saw Chef mark I asked him if it was okay to tip him because his service was excellent. To be honest this shouldn't even come up on yelp, or it if does it should have a huge disclaimer. This was a must see lounge at Yaamava!! View is gorgeous, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. This is a night cap for sure so it's buffet style and drinks. Unfortunately we were at the tail end so the food dwindled down a bit so make sure you go during scheduled hours. A great place to hangout. Located on the 17th floor of the Yaamava' hotel, it gives you full view of San Bernardino, Redlands and Loma Linda. They have a full bar and light bites in the evenings from 5-8 pm and Continental breakfast from 8-11 am. There's also a cigar lounge. Last call is at 1:45 am as hey close at 2 am. Staff is awesome. They make us feel important. Kudos to the morning Manager, Jaime. He is very proactive and a great conversationalist. Also kudos to Stephanie and Andrea who make their guests feel at home. They are definitely huge assets to the morning staff. Daniel, the bartender works in the evenings. He will mix you a delicious Mai Tai or any mixed drink for that matter. We love you guys! read more
