My husband took me to The Pines for my birthday dinner, and I have to say, this place is a 10 out of 10! From the customer service to the ambiance and, of course, the food, everything was absolutely amazing. The Pines has officially made my Top 5 restaurants! The staff here is impeccable. The service was so great that I had to personally let the manager, Veronica, know just how satisfied I was. She was extremely pleasant and attentive, not only to us, but throughout the restaurant, making sure guests were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. That level of customer service definitely stood out to me. Now, let's talk about the FOOD! The bread alone was amazing. I ordered Cesar salad, the porterhouse steak with creamed spinach, a baked potato, and truffle fries, and everything was magnificent. The steak was cooked beautifully, the sides were delicious, and the entire meal exceeded my expectations. I also enjoyed a glass of Merlot, which was exquisite and paired perfectly with dinner. This was truly one of the best birthday dinners I've had. The Pines is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, or any special celebration. If you're thinking about coming here, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. It's located inside the non-smoking casino, which was another plus for me, and there is plenty of parking available. 10/10 experience. Amazing food. Beautiful ambiance. My husband and I went for the seafood buffet and the line was insane so we looked around and saw The Pines. We popped in to check the wait and we were seated immediately. This is the type of fine dining that we never expected to find in this area! The server immediately pulled out my chair and placed my napkin in my lap. He was courteous and friendly the entire time. He stayed within eyesight of our table and we never had to wait for him as his attention didn't miss a beat. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend the lobster bisque! Very delicious I then had artichoke Arcini very good with prosciutto on top Followed by New York steak bone in medium rare ,delicious. I had a side of Bernaise sauce . First time here for a birthday celebration :) Upon entering there's a large bar and a sitting area where you can grab drinks or look at the steak cuts in their fridge. We were seated 10 minutes after our reservation time and ushered to the dining area. The inside was classy and clean, with low lighting to set the mood and still be visible to walk to your table. Our table was in a corner with kind of a funny gap between me and husband but it was ok, we don't like each other anyways haha Our waiter Kaleb was warm, attentive and funny. He made great wine recommendations to go with our meal. I went with the wine trio with the zin syrah and my husband got his cocktail and 1 glass of red blend. We shared a porterhouse, baked potato, mushrooms. The medium rare was spectacular! We also received lots of complimentary goodies for this special bday celebration. Going back for the millionth time to my favorite steakhouse in California. Service was exceptional today and the server was attentive and made sure our plates were clearer and table was neat/presentable. We had a reservation already booked and then they called to change it because they said they have a kitchen cleaning, how a high end restaurant inside a casino that operates 24/7 can't handle a kitchen cleaning to be scheduled after their regular hours of operation!. Crazy Our reservation was at 8:45 pm after the re-booking, then they had us waiting at the entrance like for another 10min, after finally being seated, waiter took 15 more minutes to arrived. Service was extremely mediocre, from bread to drinks it took ages to arrive. Food was salty, it's the second time in a row that their food is salty while I'm visiting. I had better service at this venue before, I hate when restaurants can't be consistent with their service and food tasting. Ambience is nice from restrooms to lighting but their bad service ruins everything. read more

I love coming to Yaamava - and always saw this steakhouse. I had some free money to spend here so, it was my time to try it out! I got their short rib as it was seasonal, it was so delicious. So juicy and tender - fell right off the bone. We also got the parm fries to start and a salad. The salad portion size was SO SMALL but it was okay. It was super flavorful and delicious as well. The fries were a little too parmy for me lol but it wasn't too bad. Our server was amazing and all around service was great. The vibes of the restaurant itself was also super cute and nice. An upscale restaurant inside the Yaamava casino where reservations are HIGHLY encouraged. You can also walk in, put your name down, and wait to see IF seating is available. Luckily, we waited about 30 minutes before receiving a text that we could be seated, however, it was at the bar. Not a deal breaker, but this is what happens when you don't plan ahead! THE FOOD. - French Baguette & Cranberry Bread (Complimentary). The baguette had a bright tang, while the cranberry bread was more nutty with a gentle sweetness. The trio of spreads were all delicious in their own way: sun-dried tomato butter was herby and savory, balsamic oil brought a sweet-tart pop, and the regular butter (sprinkled with sea salt) kept things classic and rich. - French Onion Soup. The broth was perfectly seasoned and the cheese pull did not disappoint! Highly recommend. - Braised Short Ribs. Incredibly moist, fall-apart tender, and packed with deep, beefy richness. The parsnip purée was silky, the baby carrots tender, and the bulb onions added a satisfying crunch. It was like a refined, deconstructed beef stew. Highly recommend. - 16 oz Ribeye. Cooked exactly as ordered, this ribeye came out really juicy, tender, and oh so flavorful. The side of béarnaise added a buttery, tangy note that rounded out each bite. Highly recommend. - Creamed Spinach. Not your typical heavy creamed spinach. Instead, this version was fresher and lighter, with just enough cheese to add salt and richness. Highly recommend. THE DRINKS. - Thank You for Not Smoking. Smooth with a gentle smoky finish and a comforting hint of cinnamon. It's similar to an Old Fashioned. - Gilded Age. Crisp, subtly sweet, and fruity. I can't quite describe its likeness, but all that kept popping in my mind was an Asian pear. THE PARKING. The north garage connects to the casino via a 425-foot pedestrian bridge on level 4. This is the most direct walking access, and therefore, where everyone tends to park. The south garage is further away but they offer a courtesy shuttle that runs 24/7. THE VERDICT. One of the best steakhouses around! Their outstanding short ribs and ribeye are well worth the drive over. I'll say this again: don't show up without reservations. read more

Visited for the first time for 3 different birthdays, including mine. We chose this place because it's in the same place we were going to watch Anjelah Johnson live. Our waiter and his protégé were both very professional and kind. The menu was explained well and we were given great suggestions. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! we all tried a little bit of each plate that was ordered and agreed, each steak, both the japanese and US Wagyu selections, were tender and cooked perfectly. I ordered the short rib plate- it was so tender it slid off the bone, i didn't need my knife to help cut it apart. We got 3 cheesecake desserts (complementary for our birthdays) and the Salted Caramel mousse dessert. Everything from the lighting, the table settings, to the food and service were spot on. I visited The Pines today which was supposed to be for a special occasion but your staff is EXTREMELY RUDE! John has such a poor attitude and treated us completely different than the people he chose to talk and laugh with for over 10 minutes. He passed our table several times with no acknowledgment and didn't bother to ask if we needed anything while we have been sitting here well over an hour for a steak. He cut my husband off mid sentence too. For what we paid we should be served properly and WITH RESPECT! Go check your cameras and look at how he was behaving if you truly care about serving your customers properly. He stood around by the front desk talking to the girls and if he had time to do that and socialize he should have time to work and wait on your customers. Sat at the bar because I was hoping for a quick bite before seeing a show. It was the exact opposite as the bartenders, especially my server, were busy tending to other things... Came here for a dinner celebration for a friend's milestone birthday. Service was impeccable, and the food was fantastic. Our sommelier was well versed in various wines and overheard some of us talking about a particular wine, so he shared some info about what he knew to us. We had everything served to us family style so we were all able to try different things that our host ordered for us. While the clientele can vary and they apparently don't enforce any kind of dress code (the table sitting next to us had a gentleman in his white tank top like my dad used to wear when he is sitting on the couch on a hot day) overall the ambiance was very modern and upscale. Our server Scott is incredible. He kept checking in us to see if we needed anything. The only concern with the service was the food took a really a long time. We waited approximately more than an hour to receive our food. We ordered 2 rib eye steaks and 2 orders of scallops. The kitchen was not on point last night. Although my friends and I were busy talking that evening, we were also hungry too! The food was fantastic but the kitchen area needs to step up even if it's busy. 1 hour is too long to wait. This place was very good. Loved the old fashion cocktail and only at my second drink was it that I tried the cart. The calamari was very flavorful and crispy not over fried either. The seafood tower was very good. The Crab was fresh and sweet and the shrimp and oysters were so fresh. I wasnt too much a fan of the carpaccio that was in the large clams. The steak was very good. Next time I would probably get the fillet and instead of the ribeye because the ribeye seemed a little too heavy. We had the most incredible Valentine's Day dinner at The Pines on Friday 2/13 with my husband and our friends, and it was truly a night to remember. We shared the 36oz porterhouse, and I can honestly say it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The filet was perfectly tender and melted on my mouth, and the ribeye was rich and flavorful. All steaks were cooked flawlessly at medium rare. Absolute perfection. The tableside bucatini was such a fun and delicious experience. Highly recommend but they only offer it twice a year! Homemade pasta tossed in a cheese wheel right in front of us. It was creamy, indulgent, and unforgettable. We also started the meal with the smoked crudo appetizer, which was delicate and delectable. And the desserts? Completely divine. Richard, our server, made the evening even more special. His impeccable service, attention to detail, and eloquent, warm personality elevated the entire experience. Everything was divine. For the main course, I had the lamb rack and the wife had the filet. We accompanied them with A side of mushrooms and the whiskey glazed carrots. This was a very fine dining experience. I am glad we got here early, around 5:15 pm because things did come out slowly. We started drinks, tequila shots and a tequila based drink. There was a crab gazpacho given to us, compliments from the chef. It was amazing. Very light and fresh with that pop of crab at the end. Great bread basket with a selection of butters and oil/vinegar. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 and it was worth it. They did warn us it would take longer to cook this. Bottom half filet mignonette, top half rib eye. Fantastic and perfectly cooked to medium rare. We loved the garlic cloves and shallots on the side. The creamed spinach was the best I have ever tasted. I actually took some of the cream at the bottom and put it on my steak. There was a long lag between finishing dinner and the check for some reason, but outside of that, we had a wonderful date night. They gave us a small corner booth so that we were able to. Close to each other and it felt like an intimate space, but I was still positioned to see into the dining room and enjoy the sights and sounds of the restaurant.
