I had a wrap combo with mashed potatoes and gravy. The wrap was OK, but the side portion was a bit stingy IMO. Others in the group got salads which were a pretty decent size. It's kind of hit or miss when you go through the drive through but tonight I ended up getting some chicken that had obviously spent more time on the grill than it should have because the bones were burnt. This place is my go-to spot when in Midland: 1) Fast, courteous service 2) Delicious, fresh-tasting chicken/sides 3) Decent-sized portions 4) Healthy (for the most part) You can see them grilling the chickens. Although not the "cheapest" form of fast food, it's definitely on the healthier side. I'd recommend getting the 2pc or 3pc chicken dinner for quantity to quality. My favorite place to eat lunch in Midland! I think it's a chain, but they don't have them on the east coast where I'm from, so new to me. I usually only ever get the chicken Caesar salad, but the chicken and salad dressing are fantastic :). The pita bread is also really tasty! I am very disappointing with this place. as a matter of fact I am very surprised that it is still open. I lived here in midland for 10 years before ever trying this place and wondered why I had . The portions are very small and the prices are very high. I have visited this establishment a total of 3 times. and Like the saying goes 3rd times a charm. I bought a chicken wrap think it would be a good portion for 8.00 ..bahahah the size reminded me of little grilles from taco bell. Then to top it off also it was not put together good at all. chicken bacon ranch wrap and all the bacon was in a ball at one end and very rubbery. I did not enjoy it at all. My husband and I swore off Ya Ya's many years ago because we were served half-cooked chicken at their restaurant in Saginaw. I thought I'd give them another chance today so I stopped in for a chicken salad from Ya Ya's in Midland. I paid $6.99 for a cold chicken salad, and when I took it back to the office and opened it, guess what was on it...chicken. That's it! Lettuce and chicken! No other vegetables. This is not a salad. I consistantly forget about this place when I get take-out and I really shouldn't. This is a nice change of pace from the fried and greasy. I ordered a take-out order of a three priece with sides and a chef salad. My chef salad was fabulous. Just not good. Have been many times and every time, dry chicken cold sides that were suppose to be hot. Just over all grose.

A little too pricey for the salads. $10.28 gets you a medium drink and a large chicken salad. The large chopped chicken salad is basically bagged lettuce (the kind with shredded purple cabbage and carrots) and chopped light/dark chicken. It doesn't come with croutons, tomatos, or anything else. It's a tasty salad (with the house dressing) but I find it hard to pay that much that often on that salad. read more

I always loved eating at Yaya's when I lived in Midland. Expensive, but the food was wonderful.

Different type of chicken joint. Greek style marinated grilled chicken on the pricey side for fast food but not near as bad as kfc and a much better tasting product. They brag about not having a fryer, well they need to put one in, their sides leave a lot to be desired both in quality and taste as well as ridiculously high priced, must be where they make their payroll and mortgage payments. read more

I have been eating yayas salads for probably 15 yrs. just had my last one. Last week I bought a salad on Corunna Rd in flint. The chicken was ground so fine it had to have been put through a grinder. I just had one today I bought in midland. Brown lettuce,dry cheese,terrible. Plus since dressing has been professionally packaged the taste has changed. I used to love these salads and at 10 bucks it should taste better than it does. I'm all done with this place. Used to Bragg it up but can't any longer. read more

I have been eating here for years however I've lowered it to only once or twice per year. First it was the prepackaged butter which is not good and then the dressing and now the smaller containers while the price has gone up about 30% in just the last few years alone? Just bought a 2pc dinner for just under 10 bucks. The wing was so small it was nearer to the size of a game hen. Less food, not as good as it used to be, for an inflated price?? Hmmm... If you've had Boston Market or Kenny Rogers chicken, then you know what they tried to do....and failed. The chicken was greasy and bland, the sides institutional, and the the facility just plain tired and really needs a good solid cleaning. Top to bottom. Won't bother going back. read more
