New menu is missing lots of the old favorites, food quality has really gone downhill. Service was the only bright spot. Disappointing breakfast. My hubby and I thought we'd try breakfast RBI's based on a friend's recommendation. However, the friend added that it's been awhile since they've been there, We were very pleased with prices and our server was awesome. Sadly, tho, and I shared this with our server, whatever (oil?) used to fry the eggs in flavored them funky. It did not taste like butter. Our waitress felt bad and said she thought they used butter. Got the fish on a Wednesday and it was mush, not flaky in any way shape or form. The baked potato was gray inside, an indication it was held in the warmer for way too long. The waitress was non existent. For dinner time it was less than 1/2 full, which should have told the story. I thought I'd try the ham, what they're known for, on another occasion. This is getting a 4 because the people working there were extremely nice to our table of 10. I had the lunch salad with fried chicken and it was good. Nothing fancy, but solid salad for 8.99 . Others at the table had the cod, wet burrito, ruben sandwich, and chili. I didn't hear anyone complaining, and all the food was gone. Success. Menu said boneless, but they are bone-in. Super crispy but they need to be tossed in a light sauce. I wasn't asked so that's disappointing. They were busy but that's an important point to miss. Our waitress Tiffany was the absolute best! The portion size was HUGE! The honey glazed baked ham was so tender, juicy and delicious. The prices are great and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. If your starving and want a lot of food for a low price, order the Big Breakfast!!! read more

For a big GF family get-together in Michigan, we stopped by Levi's to pick up one of their amazing glazed hams. But before heading out, we decided to have some breakfast. The atmosphere is down-home and kitschy with a variety of knick knacks adorning the ceiling. Peeker Sandwich [$4.99] One egg, sausage, cheese, English muffin, hashbrowns The GF went with a breakfast sandwich, which featured all the usual suspects - eggs, savory sausage, and cheese housed in an English muffin. The lightly fried egg helped to make each bite creamy, with yolk oozing through. The accompanying hashed browns were nice, though seasoning is left to you. Levi's Big Breakfast [$7.99] Four eggs, two bacon, two sausage, honey glazed ham, American fries, toast Naturally, I went with the big breakfast. Buttery wheat toast was featured along with four over-easy eggs, crispy, meaty bacon, sweet honey ham, and plump sausage. The 'American' fries were shaved thin and ate more like hashed browns. After breakfast, we picked up our 10 lb glazed ham, which was prepped for our dinner that night. Levi's Honey Glazed Ham [$50] 10 lbs Torch-glazed and priced at about $5/lb, the sweet, brown sugar glaze made each bite amazing. The ham was incredibly moist, succulent, and was easily the best ham I've ever had. The crispy bits on the edges were the best, offering texture with a nice mix of sweet and savory. For my birthday, my family decided to pick up pizza from Levi's for dinner. I'd had their cajun chicken alfredo before and it was decent but this pizza was terrible and burnt to a crisp. Everyone was so disappointed. The breadsticks were also burnt and tasted a bit like cardboard. The only good thing I can say about the food was that it was certainly hot. read more

We moved from Saginaw in 1996 so it's been years since we've eaten here. We came back hoping for a taste of the wet burrito we remembered but, sadly, we left disappointed and still hungry. This place should be higher on the Yelp list. Looks like a Wendys from the outside. Don't let that stop you from running in the door. This is not a hamburger joint. Popcorn and a beer to start. Full bar, 32oz long island ice tea wow! We ordered that pastrami reuban and the ribeye pepper mushroom so hot you had to wait to eat. Fries and real onion rings above bar sooo hot. Levi's, I'm embarrassed for you. This is no longer the Levi's of old - which used to be great food, portions, and a nice social spot of Saginaw. Sadly, it's sunk to the point that they might as well close the place right down. We arrived about 8pm, only to find two other tables in the whole place with guests at them. We ended up getting boneless hot wings and the nightly burrito special. I'll put it this way - if I went to the frozen food isle of the local grocery store - we both would have had better. I've had 59 cent burritos that tasted 10x better. And my wife's boneless hot wings - a sad excuse. Overcooked , and straight from a frozen bag with bland hot sauce. I thought I could choke down a few more bites with some additional sour cream - and was informed that it was another 79 cents. Lol - that was the last straw. Barely a tablespoon to go with my burrito and they are fishing to get another buck out of me. I come here quite often and usually love the food and the prices aren't bad either. Tonight I was very disappointed. I ordered the ham dinner and the ham looked and tasted dried out. I told the waitress and she asked if I wanted it taken off or new ham. I asked for new ham. She brought out 2 fresh pieces of ham. It was very good but why did I only get 2 pieces when I barely touched the 5 or 6 pieces on my plate? You would think she would bring the same portion that came with the ham dinner. I'd also like to know why I was served old dried out ham when clearly they had fresh sitting in the back. She also gave a 20% off card but I ripped it in half and left it on the table. I don't want 20% off I want the ham that I paid for. I was recommended to eat her by a co-worker, and all in all the food was alright. I went with a friend of mine, and I got the fajita while he got the tacos. I also ordered a cup of French onion soup which was well done but a little too much cheese for my taste. The chicken in my fajita was dry in the vegetables could've been cooked a little bit longer but all in all, it was still nice. The tacos my friend got were "amazing." Ohh my heavens look at this place. I just can't believe it. It really is unbelievable.

Never had bad food or service here. Love the omlettes! Previously I received real eggs instead of beaters but was promptly corrected, this happens all the time at Many different resturants. Their long islands are amazing and my favorite thing is a grilled cheese with mushrooms mmmm mmmm mm. Good at customizing menu items and sides, always satisfied! I went to Levi's for an early dinner with friends on a Sunday afternoon. While the food was nothing to write home about, the company was lovely. We all agreed that Levi's has a pretty impressive menu for "pub grub," insane portions (I think we each left with a box), and, on the recommendation of a friend, the onion rings are spot-on. My pasta was cooked to perfection and my friend, Greg's, fish looked flakey and delicious. . Nothing was "bad," but nothing was great either (except for maybe the onion rings). Took my wife and Mother for dinner tonite. Food was so so and the waitress was the worst. She acted like we weren't even there! I tried 3 times to get her attention, my Mother had burnt her mouth on hot soup and wanted water. Upon leaving I asked for a box for my 1/2 eaten pizza. We left Levi's and I discovered I had forgotten my pizza. We went back, only 15 minutes had passed, and the said "we held it for awhile and you never came back" 15 minutes really!! This had to be the worst meal I ever had. I'd gone for lunch before and it's not bad. But this time was really bad. When the lasanga came it was all greasy melted cheese with tomato sauce that wasn't even remotely like any lasanga I had ever seen. I figured they would use grandma Levi's recipe, I appear to have been wrong. My son would not even eat his chips and cheese, I found out why. The cheese was cheap, all rubbery and greasy with no cheese taste. The chips were stale. My husband ate his "ok" fish, but was sick when he got home. I had a stomach ache too, but I had only eaten a couple bites of my cheese mess. The waitress had dropped my husband's garlic toast, one piece landed on the tray one on the floor, she grabbed the piece off the tray with her bare hands, and stuck it on his plate, that was a gross violation of health code right there. She didn't get the one from the floor, I think because she knew I was watching. So I question the cleanliness of this place. Also I worked for the Levi's 20 years ago, before this place ever even existed. And the same family generally equals the same practices. And it was never too clean at the other place.... And to top off the wonderful $40 meal, my son never got his ice cream that was part of the kids meal. read more

I went here sort of on accident ( thought it was a different place ) and was a little worried I wouldn't find any vegetarian or preferably vegan options. After scouring the menu I found they had a black bean burger (made there nonetheless) and ordered that with a side of onion rings. It was delicious! And the onion rings... Honestly the best I've ever had! Clearly also made there. My boyfriend ordered a pizza which he also loved. Our waitress was a tad forgetful but I can't be too harsh because it was lunchtime and sort of busy. We were also sat near the door under a fan when there were other less drafty places available, but again, I can't be too harsh because we were with a handicap person and I'm sure they were just trying to make it easier for him. Went to Levi's with my family last Sunday. I ordered a tomato & cheese omelet. When my order arrived I couldn't find the cheese, it had slid down into the crease of the omelet, the tomatoes were cut in large chucks and the whole omelet was sitting in a pile of what looked like grease, but may have been tomato juice. Needless to say it was soggy! I took one bite & told the waitress I was not happy with my food. She said ok & took it back. When our bill arrived, the omelet was still on there. When I asked her about it, she said "well that's how you ordered it!" Though I ordered it I was dissatisfied with the quality of the food. She took the check back, came back to our table & said that the manager had agreed to pay for half the food, but again I picked the ordered. Worst customer service experience. This was one of the WORST experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. My husband had a BIG BLACK HAIR in his food and the waitress just said "oh - I will get you a new sandwich" - NEVER SAID SORRY. Then the bacon on my sandwich was burnt to a crisp and made the whole sandwich taste like burnt bacon - GROSS. The waitress barely came back to our table - we have to wait for what seemed like forever to get anything and had to ask the immature hostess to get her when the hair was discovered. I told the waitress when we got our bill that I was disappointed with the meal and she sent the manager who was NASTY AND RUDE and then tried to argue with me about things. All the employees stood by the bar and stared at us the whole time the manager was being rude to us (she should never call herself that - she was far from any type of manger I have ever dealt with - she should be out shoveling snow - all she is good for). Then our HUGE discount for our inconvenience was not even $2.00. This place used to be OK - now it is crap. We were regulars here and needless to say - we won't be back!!! read more
