Bringer Inn is a hot breakfast spot for folks in Saginaw. They were established in 1984 and are known for their scratch cooking. They are open for lunch too but my parents treated me for breakfast and let me know there are a bunch of regulars that dine at this restaurant including them. The restaurant is cozy with booths and tables for seating. You are welcome to sit anywhere you like. During peak times, they request you limit your time at your table to only two hours. The breakfast offerings were nice size portions which were enough for takeout for leftovers later. read more

The food was excellent, the ambiance was super casual and friendly like your neighborhood haunt, in the service was above and beyond. The waitress even thought my partner put a spoiled creamer in his coffee one that was supposed to be refrigerated but somehow made it to the table and she brought him a new coffee without him asking. The bacon tastes like something you get from the butcher count or not from the grocery store. The biscuits are homemade the sausage gravy has actual pieces of sausage in it and the cinnamon toast bread was delicious. I can see why this is a Saginaw staple. Next time I'm in the area, I plan to try lunch. read more

I have been there many times over the past 20 years and each time the food is excellent. It's not fancy but just plain good quality, filling food. They serve grits which is awesome and they are good grits, if you like grits. The coffee is good, hot and plentiful. It can get busy and a bit crazy, but the staff does their best to be attentive. read more

I used to love there Taco Salads until today. I purchased one with no black olives. When I picked up my order it was full of blacks olives and lettuce. I was told they would replace it and I went back the manager wanted to argue over replacing it. I was so embarrassed to be talked to like I was trying to get something for free. I did picked thru it looking for meat. But to be embarrassed for bringing it back in front of customers was doing to much. I will never patronize them again. And I was a regular customer. The best kept secret in Saginaw! This is a good old diner that knows how to do it right. The menu is expansive and you won't find a thing on there that isn't delicious! SO darn good!!!! Everything ordered was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed their hamburgers, the quality of their ground meat is exceptional. The fish in the fish sandwiches was very fresh, thick & crispy on a soft bun - simply perfection. The iced tea was definitely not freshly brewed, will not order it again and the whole restaurant could use a deep deep cleaning but the food & friendly service makes this a permanent stop for us when in the area - highly recommend. read more

This local diner has been around the area for years. The atmosphere is very casual. You are greeted with a sign that says please seat yourself. Eventually a server will approach the table to take your drink order. Bringer specials in breakfast and lunch. The pricing on the menu is confusing. For example 2 eggs are priced at $3.99 a bit below breakfast meats are listed at $4.99, thus you'd think the cost is $8.98. However the actual cost is the latet, $4.99 which includes the eggs. The restaurant was busy, the food maybe adequate. The decor was sub-par. The ceiling tiles looked like they were dingy beige instead of white. The carpeted areas were an undetermined color because of numerous food spills. If you like to frequent diners to get the "local feel" for an area, you might consider other diners. read more

Three years ago this was my review..."Best Steak w/ cheese in Mid Michigan! Great service!" Today (12-28-2021), I'll never eat that disgusting food again! Old owners sold the restaurant. New owners are cutting corners and the quality is completely gone, the lady owner is rude to her employees, and the employees are obviously not happy. Delicious food for a reasonable price. Burgers are juicy and taste great. They can be a little sloppy though be sure to ask for an extra napkin. Onion rings are a golden brown and taste great. The place is always busy and although they seem to have enough staff who run their tail off they need to section where there severs serve and not just rotate. they need to get organized, got take out, and instead of a potatoe, they gave me potatoe chips. The women that checked me out, was very nice, waitress not so much. On the phone, I asked for baked or broiled fish, she didn't tell me they didn't have it. Got some really greasy stuff. No salad or coleslaw or fries, never got chips, any place I've taking out fish. Need to take some lessons, from Huron Fish Company or Hecks bar. Give Bringers Inn less than a year, to be around. read more

Used to love this place, food is great and the service was always good. I was terribly disappointed a few days ago when I and my daughter went for the first since it reopened after being closed for the coronavirus. Not one server or cashier was wearing a mask, nor was most of the customers. They handed us the regular menus without cleaning them before or after (as far as we could see), the only single packet condiment was salt and I had to request that. All the rest were in containers that would be reused for the previous and the next customers and the tables were very close. Sorry to say, if they don't care about keeping their customers and employees safe, I will not return to their business again! read more

A little known diner that if a friend had not recommended, I probably would have never known about. It is a Mom'n'Pop place, the decor is a little bland, but the food is great and cheap (especially considering the portions). The staff is very friendly and very fast. (One caveat, I have only gone on Sunday mornings, just before or just as the Church crowd was coming in). First time I went, I had the Steak and Eggs, and they were cooked exactly the way I wanted them. this is the worst place for food. I think they are better at getting orders wrong then right. Ordered food to pick up at noon and it seemed like the food was sitting there for 4 hours. fries cold and stale. I have never had a good experience with this place. Last year I asked If they served breaded chicken breast sandwiches, at which they did not, so, I ordered a plain chicken breast sandwich, which surprisingly enough tasted good. Today I ordered a chicken breast sandwich, which I thought I was getting what I got last time and what I received was a processed frozen breaded chicken patty. Gross!! I am not from Saginaw, but I do work there. I have eaten at this place probably six time and have not enjoyed one bit of it.
