Delicious, authentic middle eastern food. We stopped by Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy (I think they are busier in the evenings). Our waiter was super attentive and nice, and once we ordered, everything came out quick. We got a lot to share: the cold appetizer combo which we chose hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, and mahamarah. We also got cheese rolls, batata harra, falafel, mixed grill, and kanafeh for desert. It was a good amount of food for 4 people, and we even had some leftover. Everything was delicious. It was all seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and tasted fresh. Overall, a great Lebanese restaurant and definitely a place to check out. read more

Dinner, drinks, and entertainment! What an awesome night we had when we visited Yalla few day ago. The belly dancers were beautiful, respectful and gave us true entertainment. The drinks and dinner were also a plus. We had 2 different appetizers, soujouk and along with the twisted beef shawarma; both were delicious, tender slices of meat, and well seasoned with very fragrant Lebanese spices. For entrees I had the lamb skewers, and Jason had the mix grill, which has beef, chicken and kafta kebabs, another excellent choice. Both dish comes with your choice of one side, and we both opted for their rice, which is fluffy, aromatic and delicious! The drinks were also great, just stand mixed drinks. The menu has a lot of items to choose from, however, there are many times on the menu that are not offered yet, with a note next to it saying "coming soon" If I remember, it is about 8-10 items that are advertised to come soon. I was a little disappointed, few items on there we would have definitely chose, one of which being the grilled octopus. Maybe we will go back when the menu is illy offered. If we do go back, we would also be trying their hookah, which we love that it's offered. The restaurant is beautiful. There is an indoor and out door area, the dancers I noticed were mainly focused to the outside areas, they did come inside a few times quickly for the guests who were dining inside. I was really excited to come here when I saw their menu online and saw that they had fish that they would grill or fry for me. The restaurant is on the dimmer side, but is quaint. The hosts didnt know if this was a lebanese restaurant they knew it was middle eastern though. I think education is key and everyone needs to know what type of middle eastern food this is. The waiter was very nice. The menu however included some items that were "coming soon" which I didnt really understand, because why even have them on the menu now? They fish was on the menu but for some reason they didnt offer it at this location which didnt make sense. Again, why have it on the menu? The food is fresh, delicious, fairly priced, and exploding with flavor. The place itself is tremendo vibe. The decor is very pleasant and welcoming. Came in a Tuesday and enjoyed the happy hour menu with amazing options. Hummus with beef shawarma was offered as an appetizer and so glad we tried it. Ordered the mixed grill and it was delicious. Our waiter was so hospitable and offered a nice mint tea after dinner to top things off for us. Amin recommended so many things and told us about all the hot spots around town; he was so lovely. What a find! We were headed to the airport and wanted a nice bite before we flew home. About 10 minutes from the Ft Lauderdale airport is a recently opened gem. The ambiance was wonderful, the service on point and the food was amazing. We happened upon a Sunday afternoon so getting a table wasn't an issue, but if planning to dine on a weekend, reservations are recommended. We ordered and shared a good number of appetizers and share the mixed grill and lamb dinners. All were amazing, apologies for not posting pictures of the meal, but the plates were attacked before I could grab a photo. Cold apps were all well done; we had the plate of 4 and the Muhammara was the standout although the hummus was as smooth and tasty as at Shaya in Denver. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We sat outdoors and enjoyed good Arabic music. The waiter, Amin, was very attentive and informative. They had an area where you could dress up and get your picture taken like you were walking through old city Beirut. Usually gimmicks like that are to distract from mediocre food but that was definitely not the case here, it was just an added bonus. The kibbeh balls were perfectly cooked with a crispy shell and rich, well-seasoned filling. The tabbouleh was bright, authentic, and perfectly spiced -- exactly how it should be. What a fun, good experience I had with a couple of friends at YallaBeiruty. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly, attentive service from Amine! We had crispy falafel with a soft, moist center as an appetizer. I had lamb skewers (slightly overcooked- next time I will request rare) with beautifully seasoned, craveable rice, grilled onions and tomatoes that were cooked perfectly along with a Lebanese beer. My friends had the mixed grill (chicken, beef and kefta). We all agreed that the seasoning was great. Atmosphere is great- from the beautiful furnishings to the air conditioned patio. The service was impeccable and Amin was great! Next came the drinks and I have to say this is the BEST Mojito I have had in years (and this from a Mediterranean restaurant, right??). Finally and definitely not least, the food is amazing. My friends and I tried the mixed cold appetizers and several salads. the Muhammar was excellent as were all the other 3 we tried. Then the main course with filet mignon, chicken and beef -the flavors were exquisite. We turned down dessert but were convinced to try the home made ice cream. Whoo knew??? cotton candy ???
