Amazing Moroccan restaurant in Plantation. I came there for my husband's birthday dinner, who was fasting during Ramadan. Very nice cozy atmosphere. The food is so delicous and meas was so soft, falling apart. Definately my favorite Moroccan restaurant. Tajine, with a meat of your preference is a must have! Their chicken bastilla is so delicous. Can't wait to come back and try it again

4th star because of the bread. Very very good. Felt the rice could have been more flavorful. And the chicken Tajine was decent. Service was good and during pick up I liked the design of the restaurant. Think it was good to try but not sure if I like tajine as it was my first time having it.

Found this place on yelp when I was in the area and glad I did. Had an excellent meal with my family. We started the meal with mint tea and this pastry filled with chicken. I was surprised how much I loved the tea. The pastry was really good as well. For entrees we ordered the beef tajine and the Royal couscous. Both were great but the tajine was out the stand out of the meal. Service was good throughout the meal. Would def come back if in the area.

I absolutely love Florida's diverse food scene! After a year of planning, we finally tried Dar Tajine in Plantation, Florida & it exceeded expectations. The ground beef briwat, Moroccan bread, royal couscous with lamb shank, mixed grill, & chicken bastille were all phenomenal! Service was also on point.

I went to Dar Tajine this evening with my husband and the food was a 10/10. We ordered the large mint tea which was extremely fresh and the tea pot had a beautiful Moroccan design. For appetizers we ordered the beet salad and spinach salad. Both were extremely fresh and filling. As our main dish we tried the lamb Tajine which is one of the national dishes. The lamb was perfectly prepared and the spices and sauce were very flavorful along with the rice. All together the meal was extremely healthy and priced very reasonably. This is another spot that we plan to be regulars at! Great experience, beautiful cultural atmosphere, amazing healthy options, and very delicious.

I have been married to a Moroccan woman for 22 years she was Marrakesh and her mom could not speak English but she was the best cook ever. My ex was also a very good cook having grown up in Morocco. I also owned a home on AVe De France in Marrakesh. I say all that to qualify myself to make a review. The food is totally authentic. The bread the salad the Tajine all excellent.

I tried this restaurant with my friend who said it's one of her favorite restaurants. I ordered one of the specialities, Lamb Shank Tangine. It comes with either vegetables or prunes and almonds, I chose the vegetables. I found it quite bland. I was expecting a more flavorful seasoned taste. I had some leftovers the next day, and had to add some seasoning at home. The server was friendly, but after she delivered us the food, she didn't come by once to check on our meal, and it was not crowded. If she did, I may have asked for more seasoning, but I didn't want to impose. My friend loved her meal. So all in all, I would try this restaurant again, but one of the other offerings from the interesting menu.

Amazing Delicious food. Moroccan food is now part of my top 5. Small intimate restaurant with cute decorations. Went around 4:30pm we had the restaurant to ourselves. Attentive server.

I was really excited to come try this place!! Decoration is so beautiful!! Transports you to Morocco wii hi Ike still being in plantation!!! Food was also amazing!! We ordered the lamb dish couscous and also the chicken pie!! Soooo good. I loved the pie. Perfect amount of sweet and salty!! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is bc they didn't have coffee so I didn't get to have coffee and dessert and I'm a hugeeeee coffee person. But reason to come back!! And I will!! To try that coffee!

I came here yesterday with the wife for lunch. I will first start off by saying the decorations of the restaurant are amazing. So because and authentic. Makes you feel like you are in Morocco. The food here was very good. We had the couscous lamb shank and the chicken pie (forgot the name sorry!) It was delicious. Thr pie was the best. Sweet and salty. So good. The couscous dish brought so much food that we took home enough for lunch for two the next day!! It was a shame they ran out of the coffee there because we wanted to have that but it's an excuse to come back!!

What a beautiful restaurant! I placed a to go order and within about 20 mins I had my steaming hot chicken couscous. The portions are huge and tasty, but I felt like it needed some sort of sweetness to balance the dish. Maybe some sort of dried fruit? Regardless, the restaurant is beautiful and I will definitely be back to try their other dishes.

Beef Tajine

Everything we got was fantastic. The mint tea is absolutely to die for. We got the lamb tajine and beef tajine, and both were perfectly cooked. The meat was tender and the lamb fell off the bone. The interior is very cozy and the service is friendly. This is one of the best hidden gems in Broward!

Inside the style is middle eastern art and decor. They have a large menu and lunch specials are available durning weekdays. Everything that I had tasted fresh and delicious. The complimentary pickled vegetables and pita was a nice touch. For food we decided on the Shishbarak, which is an interesting combination of meat dumplings, in a creamy yogurt sauce. The Shishbarak is a very hearty dish that has a cozy warm texture. The vegetarian sampler is mix of many of the traditional favorites. However, the standouts are definitely the grape-leaves, and the babbaganou Service was good but they only had one person that was working the register, waiting tables, and bussing food. The first thing we noticed, which was a bit unexpected, was the decor. The ambiance was really nice and inviting. This is the type of restaurant where someone could host a party. The service was really good too. We received water almost immediately after being seated, and our server came by shortly after. The manager stopped by throughout our visit to provide recommendations, and he was really nice. It made the experience feel more personal. For our appetizer, we ordered the Baba Ghannouj, which complemented the pita bread really well. It was our first time having it, and we did not know what to expect, but it was great. It was really flavorful, and we finished it wanting more. For our entrees, we had the Lamb Chops and the Seafood Tagine. The lamb chops were great. It was not a huge portion, but the meat was flavorful and cooked well. The presentation was also really nice. The Seafood Tagine looked great, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. Everything about the dish worked well together, and we felt that all the flavors complemented one another. There was a good harmony between the ingredients. For dessert, we ordered the Kunafa, which was another first for us. We had never had it before, but the description really sold us on it. It was really good. This is the kind of dessert that is best shared since it is a little heavy. Toward the end of our visit, a belly dancer came out to perform, and it was really exciting. La Vie is a great restaurant, and we will definitely return. We felt as though we got a true Mediterranean experience during our visit.

Feeling like…read morea little bit of everything on a plate; we took a good ole ride down to Sunrise Pita and Grill. Going in, there wasn't too long of a wait and we settled on a shawarma mini plate with a side order of fresh fries. Moving on with my review; everything was excellent! Note; I've been coming here since I've been a child, but the food nevertheless fails to impress me. The shawarma was succulent, spiced and grilled well too; fries fresh and crispy; the veggies/spreads were all fresh and provided nicel contrast of flavors too. Moreover, the mini plate provided plenty to eat between the 2 of us as our bellies were super full! In addition, the employees were very friendly and attentive. However we were in for a nasty surprise when we realized that their website is incorrect and they aren't open until 10 PM, only until 8 PM, so by 7:30 when we arrived, the grills were closed. The only protein options they had were schnitzel or falafel. I got a falafel pita, and even though I love falafel, this just wasn't it. The falafel didn't have much flavor, and the sauce had a weirdly bitter aftertaste. It was overall pretty dry, and it fell flat texturally. The flavor of their hummus was also quite bland with a bitter aftertaste as well. While I didn't try it myself, my family was rather unimpressed with the schnitzel pita too. The best part of the meal was the potato wedges and the canned Israeli apple juice. After such a disappointing experience, I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back.
