Grape Leaves

Al Natour is a Syrian restaurant located in Plantation. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is nice with lots of sitting tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came on Saturday for an early dinner. Our server was really nice. We ordered hummus, grape leaves, tabouli salad, fried kibbeh and falafel. The portions are big and the price is great, specifically for the price but I felt the food lacked flavor. The hummus and kibbeh were bland and the falafel had a strong cumin flavor that overpowered everything else. The salad and grape leaves were the only ones that tasted good.

Had an absolutely phenomenal time at Al Natour. Was one of the first restaurants we ate at after coming back from vacation and it did not disappoint. I was missing Lebanese food and this hit the spot. The customer service was amazing and the food felt like I was in Lebanon. They had this amazing appetizer sampler and meat platter as well that was so good that my family and I left so full with left overs to spare. Would definitely make the trip up from West Kendall to eat there again.

Al Natour is a staple in South Florida for Middle Eastern cuisine. I've been here countless times and each time the service and food has been fantastic. Authentic flavors and a wide range of options to choose from. It is true that prices have increased over the years, but you get a great amount of food, so in my opinion it's a good bang for your buck. We got the assortment of appetizers which came with hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, and other items. The salad came with the appetizers and it was super fresh, everything had a good crunch. I got the sish kabob platter which came with a tremendous amount of yellow rice. The meat was seasoned and cooked well. Overall, no complaints during my time at Al Natour.

Al Natour is the real deal when it comes to middle eastern food and hospitality in south Florida. When was the last time you went to a restaurant and they brought to you table pickled vegetables, pita bread, spice, and delicious garlic sauce free of charge. Not only that but the prices are incredible! A falafel wrap with fries and a drink for $12 is just unheard of. The wait staff is incredibly kind and generous and the restaurant has that charm of a small mom and pop establishment with friends and family working to keep it all running well. This place is a must try if you're in the area and need to scratch your itch for delicious middle eastern food.

Located in a strip mall with free but busy parking. Not much flare when you get inside, quite a few tables. I don't think they take reservations. I'd say this is a casual spot. It seems very authentic. I felt the food hearty, yet my kafta was missing a bit of spice. I liked the spicy rice. The meal included a salad which was good and some pickles which I felt a little salty. I didn't love the pita. The bathroom could have used some love. Service was friendly, but a bit absent. Prices were decent given the portion. I can see why it seemed a lot of families came here.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]this place is such a hidden gem! it's a very spacious restaurant with tons of seating and natural lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] they also have a case of pastries if you want to see what desserts they have. i ordered take out so i can't say much about the service but the staff were pretty friendly when i came in. i got their mixed grills platter which featured chicken, lamb, and chicken and lamb kabobs. the chicken was my favorite, it was so tender and juicy, it broke right off as i bit into it. the lamb was a bit disappointing for me. i usually like lamb better at middle eastern restaurants, but this one was a bit overcooked. i also felt underwhelmed by the kabobs as they tasted a bit underseasoned. i also got some kibbeh which was super delicious. the texture was perfect and it tasted even better with some lemon juice squeezed on top

Mediterranean restaurant offers authentic and flavorful Middle Eastern fare, including chicken shawarma, hummus, and kabobs. Portions are on the large side so don't order too many appetizers. Remember: no alcoholic beverages but other than that, this place is great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small or large groups are more than welcomed here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Bufff, such an amazing place! Judging after the crowd in the restaurant I am also not afraid to say that the food is most definitely authentic! By far the best Lebanese/Mediterranean place we have had in SoFlo! Everything we ordered was absolutely incredible, all the way from appetizers until dessert, coffee, and tea, hehe We ordered from the menu but they also have a buffet option. The service is super duper nice as well! This will definitely be one of our to go places from now on! See you there!

We love this restaurant, but we are not coming back as frequently as before because the prices went up a lot , the prices in the Yelp menu are all wrong Almost everything in the menu went up , and I don't know why , because gas prices in florida went down , in June 2025 I put gas in sams club miami gasoline at 2.59 gallon , restaurant was half empty, and is because the prices , the salad was tasteless , please copy the salad of Olive Garden restaurant, waitress are very nice and food is good , but now I am eating in Jerusalem marked nearby , they have kibbe balls and good desert at a reasonable price , I write all this with sadness in my heart , I don't want to give you 2 or 3 stars because I don't want to lower your ratings , but [[HIGHLIGHT]]I feel disappointed with management, do something, put fans on the ceiling and turn off the Air conditioning once in a while to save some electricity, but please don't raise prices[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The portions were very generous, enough that we had enough for dinner the next night. What topped the dinner was the fresh baklava, so many delicious varieties. We bought a lot to take home. The young man who waited on us was so friendly and accommodating, and had a wonderful smile. Service was impeccable and we had a few nice discussions of language and culture. The Shishbarak is a very hearty dish that has a cozy warm texture. The vegetarian sampler is mix of many of the traditional favorites. However, the standouts are definitely the grape-leaves, and the babbaganou Service was good but they only had one person that was working the register, waiting tables, and bussing food. They could definitely use extra wait staff during restaurant peak hours. Make sure you leave room for dessert! The desserts are delicious especially the baklava.

I wish I had more pictures, but I usually dive in before I can snap them. Everything we've tried has been incredible, but I'll name a few personal favorites. The corn ribs - I don't know what they do to this corn, but we literally fight over these at the table. They have a sour tang to the spice and an addictive roasted flavor, and are perfect with the garlic sauce. The hummus - theirs is nutty and earthy with a smooth texture and served with chickpeas and garlic on top. It's a great starter too with the pita! The gyro - they actually use lamb for theirs, which is a huge plus for me since I can't eat the beef/lamb blend at most other places. The balance of fillings is perfect and the flavor is spot on here. The mint lemonade - so refreshing and not too sweet. I think about this stuff every time it's hot out and wish I had some. I order it every time I visit. The restaurant itself has more seating than you'd think, and offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind. Everything comes out really fast, and the owner/manager is truly the best. He insisted on helping me and my mom to the car last time we got a big takeout order and is always very attentive to the table's needs. I know the plaza has some construction going on, but don't let that out you off of a visit. This place is absolutely worth it!

I decided to get the Media Luna which is half chicken and half beef shawarma with a side of fries or salad. I opted for the salad. The chicken half was heavenly and the chicken was seasoned nicely. The beef half was also amazing and the meat was cooked perfectly and nicely tender. the salad had a very nice vinigerette that had a nice bite to it and was perfect on the fresh salad. The media Luna was about $18 and well worth every penny. The place was super clean and nicely spaced out so I didn't feel like I was sitting shoulder to shoulder with anyone. The place was nicely decorated and was very clean. I liked also being able to see into the area where the kitchen and meat were on spits, slowly rotating and cooking. I will be stopping here again as soon as I am in the mood for some amazing shawarma!

There was something about the ambiance that took me right back to France, to those moments of breaking bread with my North African friends, surrounded by warmth, conversation, and the kind of hospitality that makes a place feel familiar the moment you walk in. I felt right at home. Fatima deserves special recognition. She was so kind to me and made me feel completely welcome. Her presence was gentle, warm, and sincere, and it elevated the entire experience. It honestly felt like I was being looked after at my Moroccan auntie's house. That kind of feeling cannot be faked, and it means a great deal. As for the food, it was amazing. The pastilla with chicken and almonds, dusted with sugar and cinnamon, was absolutely delicious, with that beautiful balance of savory richness and gentle sweetness that makes the dish so memorable. The msemmen was warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The merguez tajine was full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
