They no longer have French toast so I did have to pick something different. Our server was Caitlyn and she was very attentive and friendly. There were five of us and we all ordered different things I started off with the pineapple and orange juice mimosa. Once some of us realize that we wanted a second one we ended up getting a bottle of champagne and we were able to get three juices with it. We picked pineapple, orange, and lavender. Lavender was a little too syrupy for my taste. And for $24 you really can't beat that. I got the crabcake Benedict with two hash brown sticks. It was so delicious. I can't wait to go back and get some more. This is a really cool restaurant because it is in an old elementary school that they turned into businesses when you go into the hallway it's like you're at a school which you are. If you go to the bathroom the toilet seats are very low to the floor. They do not take reservations, but when we got there on a Saturday morning at 11, there was no wait. When it's busy, parking can be complicated. I will definitely be back for brunch. If you haven't tried it I highly suggest going.

She got our drink order out quickly and even brought us a second basket of their delicious rolls without us having to ask once she saw how hungry my sons were. That alone earned major points in this family. All of our meals were prepared just as ordered, and London consistently made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The entire experience felt warm and welcoming. The manager, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, also stopped by the table to check on how our meal was going. What stood out most to me, though, was that the host who seated us, our server, and the manager all wished me a Happy Mother's Day. Such a small gesture, but it genuinely made the day feel even more special and appreciated.

I believe it was a Monday gambling deal. Alabama laws on gaming were strict; so this was maybe the closest to gambling I could get. It was some expensive steak, and the server would flip a coin, which I would call heads or tails. If I was correct, I'd get the steak free! I lost; so I paid the hefty bill. At least it was hefty for my underpaid job of that time. But I had fun, and I enjoyed the steak & nice service.

I landed on the 22 oz porterhouse (medium rare), mashed potatoes and caesar salad with dressing on the side. The portion of the side salad was smaller than I was used to at saltgrass, my steak was medium on the NY strip side and medium rare on the filet mignon side (inconsistent temperature), potatoes were fine. It was OK, but I probably wouldn't eat it next time. I also made myself a side salad, and I had their vinaigrette dressing, which was very good. The best thing was the cookie. It was really delicious. The parking can be difficult at times because there's a breakfast place next-door and also a huge apartment complex. However, since we got their first thing when they open, the parking was not bad at all. I did visit the bathroom and it was very clean as was the restaurant.
