Totally forgot to take photos of all our food, but was highly impressed. Sushi was perfect. Not too much rice, seasoned great! We got Tako yaki and beef negimaki. Both were great. Service was awesome. The server was very attentive to our two young kids, included them. Food came fast. Drinks constantly refilled. Would return again. Glad I don't have to drive too far for good sushi.

This was a to go the NEXT DAY!! Still so fresh and delicious!!

This is my son and my FAVORITE place to get sushi rolls and calamari! So yummy!! My only suggestion, don't order the sushi for two expecting sushi ROLLS, we got 18 pieces of nigiri which is NOT stated in the menu as it's "chef's choice". We felt very disappointed and it was really anti climactic, it felt very low effort. That is our LEAST favorite form of sushi and we would not have ordered had we known that would be the "chef's choice". Definitely won't order it again. We could barely choke a few pieces down and gave the rest away. We like to try new things and a few pieces (mb 2 each) of that would have been cool but a whole tray of just that was far too much. We anticipated more variety and definitely more maki and uramaki over nigiri, even some temaki would have been nice to try! We will return as we LOVE their rolls they are SO fresh and yummy, the atmosphere is so positive, and we always have good kind service. All in all the place is a 10/10. I've even had them to go and the next day it was still delicious and fresh!!

Very high quality sushi spot especially given the location. They've updated the interior a lot from previous restaurants in this location and it looks great! The service is very attentive and friendly. The food was similarly fantastic. While I wouldn't quite rank this as TOP tier sushi, it's just a hair behind that - and again, given the lack of anything close in the area for this level of quality, it's well worth a visit. We LOVED the Triple A Roll, as well as the Monkey Ball. We didn't have the same level of appreciation for the James Bond Roll, but even that was about average and the only one we might not order again. Lastly, the appetizers and Japanese Fried Rice were also top notch!

Have been wanting to try this spot for months after seeing it recently, it did not disappoint! One of the best sushi spots in the state that we have been to. On time, easy to order online, great take out. Very cool inside as well. Only knock would be the price. We got 4 basic rolls, rice, crab ragoons and cowboy roll- price was $71.

Really good spot for a nice dinner or lunch. Great food, friendly staff, good vibes. They have a nice lunch menu which seems fairly priced. Really like the teriyaki bento boxes, good variety. The sushi/sashimi is also very good. Mmm yummy clear soup.. Hope they can stick around, seems to be a tricky location for restaurants. It's nice having something more unique in town.

Yanagi Sushi - 4 stars! This was our first visit to Yanagi. First of all, the restaurant is very beautiful, bright, modern looking, and clean (including the restrooms). It's very welcoming and friendly. Our customer service was also excellent. I couldn't have asked for anything better. We went with hot green tea, bacon wrapped chicken skewers (appetizer), and 4 styles of sushi rolls. Everything was fresh and flavorful. LOW CARBOHYDRATE: It's actually pretty simple (and tasty) to eat low-carb, keto style at Yanagi. You're definitely good if you stick to the lower carb sushi roll options and sashimi. Of course, you'll also be good it you go for items like miso soup, chicken skewers, seafood, etc. I avoid high starch items like noodles, giant rice portions, deep fried breaded stuff (they use soybean oil in their fryers), and any sauces that are likely to contain added sugar & vegetable seed oils. Good stuff. I'd go back again any time. Thumbs up! -Maxx

A very clean and modern restaurant. Proteins were EXTREMELY fresh. Some of the best sushi I've had in the Midwest. Servers were very attentive and knowledgeable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Stopped by for lunch with a party of 2. It was not busy at all. They have a huge menu selection that included not just sushi but other entrees as well. We opted for sushi and it came out looking delicious and tasted great too!

We were excited to try this new spot in Rogers. We happened to visit during happy hour, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff was kind, prompt, and happy to explain the menu as needed. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was particularly calming. We will definitely be returning.

Dropped in randomly since I had time to kill mid afternoon. Hadn't heard of this place, stumbled across it, and am glad I did. The ambiance is awesome for a smaller sushi shop. Decor is neat. Food was very good. Price is very good for single serve rolls. Service was very friendly and quick to recommend when asked. I will stop in again and highly recommend!

So happy to have found a great sushi place nearby! We've done takeout and dine in, and no complaints. Food and service was excellent!

Everything we had was flavorful and fresh - the hibachi was especially delicious, even if it wasn't the full show-style experience you might expect from a traditional hibachi place. The rolls were well-prepared, with good texture and balance. Service was friendly and quick, and our food came out without much wait, which is always a plus. That said, the interior could definitely use some updates. The decor and furniture feel worn and outdated, which stands out more when you consider the price point. It's not enough to ruin the experience, but a little refresh could go a long way. A few small things: the spinach salad served with the hibachi wasn't my favorite - the dressing was a bit off for my taste - and I missed the usual mushroom soup that typically comes with hibachi meals. Also, a heads-up to fellow diners: the fried rice came with chicken by default, which wasn't listed, and I would've preferred the plain white rice instead. All in all, Hajime delivers on food quality and service. With some minor adjustments and a facelift inside, it could easily be a standout. We'll be back!

Really delicious sushi - huge rolls! Quick service. Absolutely loved it !…read more The place is clean and modern and you can see the chefs making the rolls from your seat. I really loved everything we had. Edamame, yellowtail jalapeno, Crazy Jaguar, and Sexy Lady were amazing! I can't remember what the 3rd roll was but they were all delicious. The staff also took us in with 45 mins to close which was really nice because we just finished a workout and were looking for a quick sushi fix.

It was about 80% cucumber with barely any crab, which wasn't what we expected. Unfortunately, the service really overshadowed the experience. We weren't greeted when we walked in, and things felt off from the start. We had a stroller with us, and instead of helping us find a comfortable spot, we were initially directed to a booth that clearly wouldn't work. When I asked about it, the waitress moved a couple of tables and pointed us to an end table with an uncomfortable chair. I politely asked to sit somewhere else, which felt awkward to even have to do. There were also a few moments that felt careless, like when she reached over my baby and stroller to grab a drink instead of going around. That's just not something you should risk. When I finished my salad, she told me to keep my fork rather than bringing a new one for sushi, which came off as odd. I also know how to use chopsticks so it seemed weird to assume that I didn't and would reuse my fork. The waitress didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and we didn't feel acknowledged at any point..even when we left, despite being the only customers there. It's a shame because the food, music, and overall vibe had potential, but the service really took away from the experience.

For me, I stick to the non-sushi options and it doesn't disappoint. The chicken fried rice is my go-to and it's honestly so good, especially paired with their yum yum sauce. I also ordered vanilla ice cream at the end and it was the perfect end to the meal (forgot to take a photo). Also snagged a photo of some sushi rolls that were ordered!

I also enjoyed the teriyaki shrimp. The teriyaki beef had good flavor, but it tends to be a bit overcooked every time I've had it. Overall, we had a good experience and left very full! The service wasn't quite as attentive as my previous visits, but we were a pretty large group doing AYCE, so I can understand how that can be challenging. I'd definitely come back again!
