How crowded are Yankee games during covid?

When I went there were two different sections, one for vaccinated people and one for non vaccinated people. The non vaccinated section was not crowded because there is social distance between the groups. The vaccinated section was somewhat crowded… Read more

Parking lot if you are ok to spend $40, else Grand Concourse.

    Best parking at Yankee stadium?

161st garage. It's pricey but location is awesome. Easy in and easy out.

Where can try and find street parking?

You can park in the Upper Eastside of Manhattan and then take the subway to the stadium Parking on the streets around the park might be quite far away from the stadium.

I would like to give a gift card to a Yankee game. There are various sites but I'm not that good at knowing which may be legitimate or not? Also denomination would buy very good seats for two?…

What do you mean a gift card. Do you want to buy tickets to a game? Use either Ticketmaster or StubHub. Or call the yankees stadium office directly and they can assist you.

Are there restrictions on the size of a purse a woman can bring in?

A large purse is fine but not a backpack

Tonight I'm bringing a friend with difficulty walking. Trying to park close to gate 4. I believe the lot on 161st street would be or best option (pending availability). Any other suggestions?

The river avenue garage is your best option imo provided you can be parked a minimum of 90 minutes before the game as River ave closes. The address is 950 River Ave. BTW it is up the street from my favorite Yankee stadium bar....the Dugout 880 River… Read more

I don't know why we can't get into Monument Park during a game, but it closes 45 minutes prior to the game.

One of the best parts of the event was how they introduced the elite runners. They turned the lights off in the arena, announced each athlete individually, and they ran out onto the track with sparks shooting up. That whole presentation was fire and really made the moment feel special for the athletes and the crowd. The atmosphere was great and you could feel the excitement in the building. My only complaint is about some of the staff (not all). I had been sitting in a section for over four hours after being told by one worker that it was fine to sit there. Later on, a few other workers came over and told me I had to move. It wasn't even the request that bothered me--it was the way it was delivered. When you're dealing with adults, especially paying guests who've been there for hours, it's all about how you communicate. At one point it felt like they were all teaming up like Voltron instead of just getting a supervisor to clear things up. Situations like that can easily be avoided with better customer service and communication. Needless to say I didn't go anywhere until my daughter ran off the principal. Aside from that situation, the event itself was great. The competition, the energy in the building, and the way they highlight the elite athletes made it a really memorable experience.

The warmup area is way too small, so from the athlete's perspective, that made it very hard to prepare for the race. I ended up running laps outside with my athlete to get her warmed up, which many others were doing, so even that was hard. I get space is limited in NYC, but with 3 floors, they could have done a better job providing space for the athletes to prepare for their race. My runner lived the track itself, it was a great track.

It was founded in 1904 and expanded into the former home of the Museum of the American Indian (adjacent to the museum's original building) in 2021. Their collection includes 18,000 works, including works by Diego Velázquez, Francisco de Goya, El Greco, and Joaquín Sorolla. When I visited last weekend, the largest space of the museum was closed as they set it up for a new exhibit. Unfortunately, that meant only two small spaces were open to view. Luckily, one of the spaces I was able to see was the Sorollo Room. It displays 14 paintings painted by Joaquín Sorolla. Together, the paintings depict different provinces of Spain and total 227 feet in length. It's incredible and worth a trip to the museum on its own. It's free to visit the museum, so if you're in the area it's well worth stepping by. If you get lucky, you'll get to see more than I did (bad timing!), but even if you see nothing more than the Sorolla Room, it's worth it. I'll probably return one day to see more of their space and different exhibits!

New York City FC is among MLS' newer teams, but not among the newest. The team and Orlando City SC…read morejoined the same year: 2015. Since that time, the team has done well. They've qualified for the playoffs every year but one, highlighted by a first-place finish in the Eastern Conference standings in 2019. Generally, a fairly good showing for such a new club. The team primarily plays its games at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. When configured for MLS games, the stadium has a capacity of about 29,000-30,000. Like other MLS teams, average attendance has been good. Official attendance records show roughly 24,000 fans per game (80-82% capacity). Over the years, several various plans for a dedicated soccer stadium designed specifically for the team - from Manhattan to Elmont (Belmont Stakes) - have been proposed, but nothing has materialized yet. In the club's short history, Spanish striker David Villa has been, by far, the club's best and most popular player. He played for New York from 2015 to 2018 and holds the club records for most appearances (126) and goals (80). He was a forward on the Spanish national team that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Etihad Airways, of the United Arab Emirates, has been the team's main sponsor during its existence so far.

And word is they may end up moving to Queens. Can you imagine. My fave borough and one of my least fave teams. I mean they're affiliated with Man City and play in the same colours. How disgusting. So considering I've been a fan of Red Bull NY since back when they were Metrostars... then it follows that I wouldn't love NYCFC, their rival. Of course I'm not a fan of NYCFC, who are the rich kids of the East Coast, think Galaxy but worse. They get a lot of good players piped in, and they do have a few good people behind them, but they're basically the Manchester City of North America. So not my favourite by any stretch of the imagination. Red Bull will always be the heart and the soul of the NY area football for me. These guys play at Yankee Stadium and they have been looking for a place in Queens to play, but for me the team of people from Queens is always going to be Red Bull even though they're over New Jersey. I'm so not a fan of the Manchester City Style kit or the ownership, and I'm hoping that they continue middling around and don't really go anywhere. But it's good to have a two-team New York area rivalry for sure. And it's definitely one of the classic legendary stadiums for baseball and as a baseball Arena it would get 5 stars and is second to none. As a soccer arena it gets three stars and just doesn't seem like a good home for this team or the sport, and it's no coincidence that they've been largely struggling in it. So the stadium that Ruth built is amazing and it's been renovated recently and it's just way too expensive - that's the main problem. If you live in this part of the Bronx you'd have to probably spend a week's wages just to come and see a game here. And a watery beer that is American of course, is going to cost you between 12 and $20. So forget it.
